A day at Hogwarts.

Chapter 684 I'm so dizzy from reading
The effects of the monthly exams gradually became apparent within the castle.
As the second exam drew closer, the castle suddenly fell silent. The sounds of turning pages filled the common room and library as students began to bury themselves in their studies. The noise of playing and laughing subsided, and even the school clinic became much quieter. Mrs. Pomfrey was worried that she would have her wages docked.
Faced with this situation, even the professors who opposed Umbridge's reforms found it difficult to voice their objections.
Could it be that they're annoyed that the students are studying too hard? If that's the case, Umbridge won't even need to lift a finger; just leak it to a reporter, and the next day, a roaring letter could rip the castle roof off.
Despite the pressure, Hermione still felt that they could take half an hour to discuss preparations for their adventure after the exams.
Harry and Ron nodded repeatedly. They had long wanted to escape Hermione's study plan for a moment. They would have no problem discussing something as interesting as an adventure, or even choosing shampoo for Snape.
Charles would inevitably be involved in discussing this matter.
"Oh, you guys can discuss it yourselves first." Charles was about to leave just as Harry and his trio found their dormitory. "I have urgent business to attend to."
After he finished speaking, he hurriedly left the dormitory, and his footsteps quickly disappeared at the end of the corridor.
“Hehe,” Seamus muttered, sitting on the edge of the bed and rubbing his temples. “Charles has been acting all mysterious these past few days. I don’t know what he’s been up to, but he seems to be very capable. It seems to be related to Professor Delacour.”
“He also said…” Simon mustered a bit of energy, his voice turning sinister, “our end is coming.”
Ron's eyes lit up, and he asked, "Really? Did he get fed up with the upcoming monthly exams and decide to make an alchemical bomb to blow up Hogwarts?"
Harry said seriously, "I think that's something only Seamus would do."
Simo chuckled dryly twice and continued rubbing his temples.
Hermione saw that he looked like he was in pain, so she asked, "Seamus, are you sick?"
You look terrible.
Harry and Ron then noticed that Seamus was acting strangely, with a kind of sickly fatigue.
“Oh, it’s nothing.” Seamus pointed to the Potions textbook on the table and said, “You’ll understand when you look at the textbook.”
The trio thought he had a headache from reading too much.
Harry couldn't help but laugh and tease, "I think when Charles is blowing up the castle, he'll leave the Potions classroom for you to blow up."
Seamus shook his head slightly and said, "No, it's Charles who cast a spell on the textbook. It looks very interesting."
This piqued Harry and the others' curiosity.
Charles actually played a prank on Seamus. How could we not study something so fun?
Hermione went to the desk, picked up the textbook that Charles had enchanted, and studied it carefully for a while.
After Harry and Ron waited anxiously for two minutes, she found that the textbook was normal and there was nothing strange about it.
"What spell did Charles cast?" Hermione asked Seamus, handing the book to Harry's outstretched hand.
Harry curiously took the textbook from Hermione and started flipping through it from the first page.
Before Seamus could answer, Ron quickly noticed Harry's unusual behavior.
“Hey, Harry!” Ron poked Harry’s arm with his finger. “Are you feeling something strange?”
Harry seemed not to hear anything, completely absorbed in the book, quickly flipping through the entire Potions textbook, reading at lightning speed.
When he finished reading the last page, he, like Simo, swayed twice, clutched his head, and groaned in pain.
Ron immediately helped him up and asked anxiously, "What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"
Hermione said thoughtfully, "I think I understand what's going on."
Ron immediately turned to look at her, only to hear her say, "Ron, you should take a look at this textbook too."
“This…” Ron looked at Seamus and Harry, who were rubbing their heads, with some concern and hesitated.
Hearing Hermione's words, Harry, fighting off a headache, shoved the book into Ron's arms. "See, Ron," Harry said, "Hermione wouldn't harm you, would she?"
Ron thought Harry made a lot of sense; everyone present would try to sabotage themselves, except Hermione.
He wondered if Hermione had figured out that the magic in the book didn't work on him.
Ron thought it was very likely, so he opened Seamus's Potions textbook without hesitation.
Then Ron collapsed.
When he woke up, he found himself lying in his own bed with a splitting headache, and Hermione and Harry were carrying Neville onto his own bed.
It seems that yet another person has fallen victim to this heinous crime.
Harry, unaware that Ron had woken up, asked Hermione after settling Neville in, "What's the deal with the spell in that book?"
Hermione asked thoughtfully, "Do you remember the rumor from last year that Charles had a magic book that could put people to sleep just by looking at it?"
Harry thought for a moment and replied, "It seems there is such a thing, Seamus fell asleep."
Hermione said seriously, "I asked Charles later, and he said it was a spell that forced people to read. If they couldn't understand the contents of the book, they would faint from brain fatigue."
After she finished speaking, she glanced at Neville. Clearly, this student had not fully grasped the contents of the Potions textbook.
Harry thought Hermione made sense. Hermione naturally found the textbook content easy to understand, so she had no problems at all.
Because I was worried that Snape would find fault with me, I read the whole book. Although there were parts I didn't understand, there weren't many. So I just felt a little dizzy, not fainted.
“It seems…” Harry recalled the textbook, “I’ve memorized most of it.”
Hermione thought for a moment and then said, "Perhaps, this magic can also be used to help people memorize books."
For today's exams, as long as you memorize the textbook, passing is definitely not a problem.
Harry looked deep in thought, then frowned and said, "Could it be that the parts I haven't memorized are the parts I can't understand?"
Hermione couldn't answer this question.
She pondered for a moment and said, "I think this magic is very useful. It can improve my reading efficiency and help me figure out what I don't know."
“I need to ask Charles to teach us this spell so we can use it in our tutoring classes.”
Harry thought she was right.
“Harry,” Hermione said, recalling something as the topic of tutoring came up, “how about you join a tutoring class? I think you could tutor other students.”
Harry chuckled and said, "Teaching flight lessons? I think that's a good idea."
Hermione shook her head helplessly, thinking, "You wish!" and said, "I think your spellcasting is very good; you could tutor students in the same grade."
Harry asked, puzzled, "But spellcasting isn't tested in the monthly exam."
Last month's monthly exam consisted entirely of written questions; there were no practical questions.
"Who knows?" Hermione said, frowning. "What if a practical exam is suddenly added one day?"
Harry thought about it and nodded, saying, "You're right. There were no monthly exams before, but now that there are, they might get harder and harder."
"Sigh..." he sighed again, "If only there were a magic spell that could make people memorize the whole book."
Hermione said irritably, "Stop thinking about these things. If there really was such a foolproof solution, it would have appeared long ago."
Harry shrugged and said, "It's hard to say. I think Charles might know about such magic. I'll ask him when he gets back."
"That guy, I wonder where he's gone."
