Chapter 707 It took off this year too.

"That silly Weasley, he can't block a single ball! The Slytherins sing out, Weasley is our king!"

"Weasley was born in a dumpster, he always puts the ball in the goal, Weasley guarantees we'll win this game, Weasley is our king!"

……

The song rang out loudly from the Slytherin crowd in the stands, their silver and green attire echoing throughout the stadium.

"Oops!"

Hermione, holding a telescope, stared intently at Ron, stamping her feet in frustration.

Ron stared blankly toward the Slytherin stands, seemingly startled.

It must be said that Slytherin found and exploited Gryffindor's weakest point.

At this moment, Slytherin launched an attack and quickly advanced into Gryffindor's half. With his teammates providing cover, Warrington, holding a Quaffle, charged towards the goal one-on-one, with only Ron in front of him.

"That silly Weasley, he can't block a single ball!"

The singing from the Slytherin stands suddenly became even louder than before.

Ron saw Warrington rushing towards him and awkwardly turned around.

Fred, seeing his anxiety, hit the ball hard at Warrington's back, but it was too far away to catch up.

Ignoring the lone ball flying behind him, Warrington made a feint and forcefully slammed the Quaffle toward the goal.

Ron judged the ball's trajectory accurately, but his body was a beat too slow. The ball flew past his fingers without any obstruction and went through the goal.

A tsunami of cheers erupted from the direction of Slytherin.

"How outrageous!" Simo stomped his feet in anger. "What they did was utterly shameless!"

Nave also said, "We need to find a way to get them to stop."

Ximo snorted and said, "I'm going to teach them a lesson."

Dean immediately said, "They don't deserve to die."

"Excuse me!" Hermione said as she left the stands.

The boys are right. This can't go on. We need to find a way to stop the Slytherin students, otherwise Ron's behavior will only get worse.

However, it wouldn't be right to have Seamus blow up the entire Slytherin stands, so let's create some chaos instead.

"Since Slytherin is so despicable, then don't blame me!"

Hermione thought to herself.

Stealth, pouring the explosive liquid, casting the delayed ignition spell, and retreating—all done in one smooth motion, a testament to practiced skill.

"Slytherin scores!" announcer Jordan Lee's voice rang out. "Thirty to zero, Slytherin takes the lead."

"Ron's first official appearance today seems to be going badly?"

High in the air, Harry looked anxiously toward his own goal and saw that Ron looked completely helpless.

"Weasley was born in a dumpster; he always puts the ball in the goal!"

The singing was much louder than before, with the Slytherin students in the stands singing in unison, their voices almost drowning out the sound of the wind and the whistling of the brooms.

Harry was a little worried about Ron, but he had to concentrate and squint his eyes to search for that glittering gold amidst the flickering light and shadows and the fast-moving figures.

Catching the Golden Snitch as soon as possible is the only way to win the game and break the deadlock.

The Slytherin team thought the same way. Malfoy wasn't in a hurry to find the Golden Snitch, but instead adopted a delaying tactic. Even if Gryffindor eventually found the Golden Snitch, they would fail due to the large score difference. So Malfoy kept flying around Harry erratically, sometimes to the left, sometimes to the right, and sometimes suddenly closing in, interfering with his vision and broom control.

Just then, as if he had spotted his target, Malfoy suddenly turned the broom handle around and swooped down towards a corner below.

Harry didn't know if he had really seen the Snitch or if he was just faking it, but he was determined to stop him.

However, Harry fell into Slytherin's trap; it was a feint designed to lure them in.

Just as Harry turned and accelerated toward Malfoy, Crabbe, who had been lurking behind, seized the opportunity and, with all his might, slammed a vicious running ball into the back of Harry's head.

Clearly, Slytherin intended to use lethal tactics against Harry to delay the capture of the Golden Snitch as much as possible.

Harry's attention was completely focused on Malfoy and the area in front of him, and he was completely unaware of the danger rushing towards him from behind.

"boom!"

A loud bang suddenly erupted from the Slytherin stands, followed by a dark figure leaping into the air, its robes fluttering in the wind.

The first and second graders screamed in fright, not knowing what had happened, while the third graders and above had expressions of "I knew it," and some even shook their heads helplessly.

“It’s nothing,” Cedric said, leaning down to the panicked Hufflepuff first-year students in front of him. “Professor Snape is using one of his flying potions to help Potter again.”

"He probably felt it was too shameful for the students at the college to do that."

Harry turned around immediately after hearing the explosion and saw the dark figure flying at high speed toward his back, while also catching a glimpse of the ball hurtling toward his head.

"Oh!"

The ball was hit squarely by the dark figure, veered off course, and crashed into the stands railing.

"Boom!"

The dark figure landed heavily on the ground, its long robe covering its entire form.

Mrs. Hooch waved her wand speechlessly, and the match continued. Immediately, two Shanghai dolls flew over carrying a stretcher and took Snape to the school infirmary.

Not just the Slytherin seats, but the entire hall fell silent for a moment; even the sound of the wind and the buzzing of brooms seemed to stop.

Umbridge asked Dumbledore, who was standing next to her, with some curiosity, "Albus, I heard that this is a little tradition that Severus does every year?"

Dumbledore smiled and replied, "Why don't you go and ask him yourself?"

Hermione's little trick didn't quite work; Slytherin's singing didn't stop, though the volume decreased.

Just then, Harry caught a glimpse of a golden reflection out of the corner of his eye.

The Golden Snitch was behind the Slytherin goalpost, flying at a slow pace.

Harry saw Malfoy looking at him and immediately came up with a plan, diving towards the back of the Gryffindor goal.

Malfoy immediately fell for the trick and swooped down in front of Harry, maximizing the speed of his flying broomstick in a short period of time.

Although he didn't see the Golden Snitch, doing so would force Harry to slow down, unless he wanted to crash into it.

As Harry saw Malfoy swooping down in front of him, he immediately made a 180° turn and flew at top speed toward the Slytherin goal.

This feint took only a short time; the Golden Snitch didn't fly far and was still behind the goalpost.

Malfoy realized he had been tricked, but it was too late to turn; his flying broomstick wasn't fast enough, and he could only follow behind Harry.

There was nothing blocking Harry's way except the Golden Snitch.

Amidst cheers from the Slytherins, the Golden Snitch was obtained.
