Lotus, necklace, white elephant, golden dragon, garuda, treasure vase.

Upon seeing this figure, all the Buddhist chants suddenly stopped.

Afterwards, all the monks respectfully clasped their hands and bowed their heads to the figure, chanting "Namo Buddha Tianshang".

That old monk was none other than the Buddha of Tianshang.

At this moment, he was wearing a clean white monk robe, free of dust and dirt. He was sitting cross-legged in the air, with a compassionate look on his face, overlooking the many monks below.

There was no sadness or joy in his eyes, nor was there the slightest trace of attachment. He chanted the Buddha's name, and his voice was not loud, but it reached the ears of all the monks present:

"Today I will enter Nirvana, and Nirvana is also the time when I will leave this world. You must listen carefully to the instructions of the future Buddha."

All the monks nodded.

The Buddha of Heavenly Sorrow nodded slightly, and then said:
"Where is the future Buddha?"

The monk had a handsome face, red lips and white teeth, a cinnabar-red mole between his eyebrows, and ears that reached below his shoulders.

"Today I have given you the treasure vase initiation, secret initiation, and wisdom initiation. Your Buddha heart is not strong enough, so I cannot give you the mantra initiation."

“I do not seek happiness for myself, but I wish that all living beings can be free from suffering.”

Tianshang Buddha nodded slightly and said:
"Among the ten stages of Bodhisattva, you have already cultivated to the ninth stage, the stage of good wisdom. I will give you the water of wisdom to empower you, and you will be able to enter the stage of Dharma Cloud and achieve Buddhahood."

At this moment, one hand gently fell down and stroked the top of the Buddha's head from afar, and with the other hand lightly pinched it, and the image of a treasure bottle suddenly appeared in his palm.

Water from the bottle fell onto the head of the Buddhist disciple, who chanted:

"The nectar of Dharma water is poured over the heads of the Buddha's children, so that the Buddha seed will never be cut off."

In the distance in the void, looking at the scene in the Lotus Buddha Kingdom, several Mahayana monks remained silent. Only the figure hidden in the black smoke could not help but speak out:

"This ascension is so troublesome."

Master Gai frowned slightly, then calmed down and explained calmly:

"Fellow Taoist, please be patient."

"This Buddhist initiation method requires many rituals. This should be the four initiations, corresponding to the incarnation, reward body and Dharma body, and finally pointing directly to the original mind."

"In the past, when the Buddhas of the Eastern Glass Buddha Realm entered Nirvana and ascended to heaven, they would use this method to pass on their heritage to future Buddhas."

“Although I don’t know if this Supreme Buddha is also like this, I think that when the Heavenly Buddha ascends, it should also be the time when the future Buddha disciples will completely inherit it.”

"Fellow Daoist Gai, what's wrong?"

Master Gai did not hide it and frowned:
"I have heard that the Supreme Buddha has hundreds of millions of followers, so how come there are only these few here?"

Chao Tianjun pondered and said:

"Perhaps it's because there are too many people, so it's inconvenient to show up?"

"Tian Shang is about to ascend!"

"Everyone, get ready."

All of these people are cultivators in the late stage of tribulation and the early and middle stage of tribulation, and they all have solemn expressions.

They didn't need to do much here. They just needed to block the interference of the Bodhisattvas and Arhats, so that the Mahayana masters could go and kill the future Buddha Lord with peace of mind when the Buddha Lord Tianshang ascended to heaven, thus eliminating future troubles.

This ascension thunder tribulation is also known as the guiding thunder tribulation. It is the best way to guide cultivators to ascend into the second sea of ​​​​realm.

Although its body is not as big as the reclining Buddha, it is still about three or four times the size.

He puts his palms together in front of him, has a fleshy bun on his head, an auspicious red mole between his eyebrows, a full face and a dignified appearance.

It is like a spring from heaven gushing into the top of the Buddha's head.

At this moment, the Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya also manifested on the body of this Buddha's son. The incarnation here is different from the incarnation of the monks. It means the manifestation of the Buddha in the world, which is exactly this Buddha's son himself.

At this moment, this future Buddhist son is like a Buddha, sitting cross-legged in the Buddha's kingdom.

This is the initiation, in which the Buddha gives initiation to the Bodhisattva and guides him to become the new Buddha.

At this moment, the Buddha's light around Buddha Tianshang became brighter and brighter, but his body became more and more illusory.

In the image, one can faintly see a simple relic slowly rotating in the Buddha's light.

On the contrary, inside the Lotus Buddha Kingdom below, the aura of the Buddhist disciple became increasingly stronger, and in an instant he broke the barrier between the Bodhisattva and the Buddha. His manifested Dharma body also grew rapidly as if it were blown up.

"He's going to ascend."

Looking at the increasingly illusory body of Buddha Tianshang, Madam Hua could not help but speak out, with a hint of envy and complexity in her eyes.

Master Gai nodded slightly, and while watching the scene unfold, he whispered:

"The Buddhist ascension is somewhat different from ours. They use the method of Nirvana to shed their earthly bodies and reach the other shore with their spirit..."

It seemed as if he wanted to gather all the power left by Buddha Tianshang in the Third Realm Sea and completely complete the initiation of the future Buddha.

The monks around the temple all put down the prayer wheels, Buddhist strings, Dharma beads, treasure bottles and other items in their hands and looked towards the Buddha's Dharma figure.

Some people raised their hands and clasped them together, lowered their heads, some looked happy, some had a bit of envy, and some had resentment in their eyes.

But as the initiation ceremony went smoothly, the atmosphere around the temple became more relaxed, no longer as solemn as before. Many people were whispering to each other.

Around the Buddha, there are six monks and a middle-aged layman with untied hair sitting cross-legged.

Sitting behind a monk in the west, the young monk Puyan looked up at the scene with shock in his eyes.

He could not help but send a message to the monk sitting in front of him:

"Master, weren't you the first to reach the Great Bodhisattva realm? Why didn't the Buddha pass on the position of Buddha to you?"

The monk who was looking up at the Buddha Tianshang above to welcome the thunder tribulation of ascension had his heart skip a beat when he heard these words.

I felt cold sweat breaking out on my bald head at this moment.

"Stop talking nonsense!"

He immediately whispered to reprimand Pu Yan, and then quickly used a secret technique to block his telepathy.

Only then did he look guiltily at the Buddhist who was receiving the initiation.

Even though they knew that the other party was in the middle of an initiation and could not perceive what they were thinking, they were still filled with awe for the Buddha Lord Tianshang above them.

"Master, I'm just asking, I think this Zhiyuan... this Buddha Lord's cultivation level was only at the Bodhisattva level before, and he was not outstanding among those Buddha disciples. Why didn't the Buddha Lord choose you to succeed him, but instead chose someone whose cultivation level is not as good as yours... You are a great Bodhisattva in the West."

"Not to mention that he is not as good as you great Bodhisattvas, even compared to Shen Fu from the Six Paths of Reincarnation, I feel he is still a little bit inferior. I don't know why the Buddha chose him."

Upon hearing this, the Great Bodhisattva of the West could not help but reveal a trace of unwillingness in his eyes, and his gaze subconsciously swept over the monk sitting behind the middle-aged layman not far away.

Although he agreed in his heart, he still shook his head and said:
"Since it was arranged by the Buddha, there must be a deep meaning behind it... What you said today, you have spoken, and I have heard it, so don't tell anyone else!"

Pu Yan couldn't help but say:
"But this future Buddha is not a very capable person. If the Buddha had not performed a part of the initiation for him before, his cultivation would have greatly increased."

"Where does he get the strength to kill that perfect eighth-order dragon?"

"And this person is really murderous. He killed the evil dragon, but he didn't worry about what would happen to the evil dragon. What if any of its relatives or friends came to seek revenge..."

"Where does all this nonsense come from!"

The Great Bodhisattva of the West heard this, knowing well the talkative nature of his disciple, and could not help but reprimand him lightly, and then transmitted his voice:
"What do you mean by relatives and friends? No matter how powerful they are, can they still offend me, the Supreme True Buddha?"

There is a sense of confidence and pride in his words.

Pu Yan smiled awkwardly:
"Master is right, I was overthinking it."

The Great Bodhisattva of the West nodded slightly:
"It's good to know. Don't talk nonsense next time. We just don't provoke others. Who dares to come here..."

Before he finished speaking, a loud shout suddenly came from outside the Buddha Kingdom above the sky:
"You evil monk, return the lives of my descendants to me!"

But then a startling dragon roar was heard!

Then, in the astonished eyes of everyone, a hornless dragon suddenly broke into the Buddhist kingdom.

Black smoke was swirling around it, and a human figure could be vaguely seen above the dragon's body.

It was a bald man.

As soon as the bald man appeared, he broke through the void and headed straight for the Buddhist disciple below.

This sudden change shocked everyone.

The Great Bodhisattva of the West showed an expression of disbelief:
"That evil dragon actually has a history!"

Not daring to delay, he and the two great Bodhisattvas, namely the East, the South, the new North, the Lord of the Six Paths, and the Sun Truth and Moon Truth, all stood up at the first moment, showing their huge Bodhisattva forms, and joined forces to meet the dragon.

Wherever the dragon passed, it flicked its tail and the seven great Bodhisattvas retreated back one after another.

However, the future Buddha, who was guarded by seven great Bodhisattvas, suddenly opened his eyes. Seeing the arrival of the dragon, his face was startled, but his eyes were extremely calm.

He said calmly:
"Is this my external calamity?"

"Are you the ancestor of the evil dragon I killed in the past? I didn't expect that evil dragon to have such a history."

"It's just right. It also allows me to test my current strength."

Show calmness and confidence.

As he finished speaking, he formed his palms into the Buddha seal.

The Buddha's seal suddenly enlarged and turned into a huge handprint that slapped the dragon.

There was a 'boom'.

The Buddha remained motionless, but the dragon could not help but flip over, with a human-like look of surprise on its head.

And at this moment, a sword light suddenly flew from the sky.

The sword light fell down, heading straight for the Buddha's brow.

At the same time, countless flowers suddenly flew over from the sky.

The petals of these flowers are extremely beautiful, but they also have a sense of loneliness and solemnity.

It floated down and instantly enveloped the entire Buddhist kingdom.

At the same time, dozens of cultivators in the late and middle stages of tribulation flew down!

Seeing this scene, all the monks were shocked.

"Get into formation!"

Facing a powerful enemy, the future Buddha remained fearless and gave a clear shout.

Then, five hundred Arhats flew out from the surrounding crowd, suddenly transformed into Buddhist beads, and smashed towards the sword light.

A Buddhist string of beads also appeared in the hands of the future Buddha.

The five hundred Arhats, in cooperation with the Buddha beads transformed from the Buddha treasures, released astonishing power on the palms of the future Buddha. The sword light fell, and after only breaking a dozen of them, it was exhausted. The sword light paused slightly, revealing the figure of an old man, who was none other than Master Gai!
The future Buddha snorted coldly and was about to take action.

At this moment, a lion with ten thousand heads swooped down from the sky.

Although there is only one, it seems to cover the sky and the earth!
The future Buddha sneered, but before he could make a move, he suddenly saw the ten thousand-headed lions in front of him being casually moved away by a huge golden hand.

After taking a closer look, the future Buddha's face changed slightly, and he said in surprise:

"Buddha Lord Tianshang?"

Seeing the golden hand push away the lion with ten thousand heads and then fall towards him, he was so frightened that he didn't dare to resist at all.

It was not until that palm pressed on his body that he suddenly reacted:
"No, why would the Buddha attack me?!"

Once a thought arises, the world becomes broad.

The illusion in front of him suddenly disappeared, but the palm still came towards him.

However, the owner of this hand was Chao Tianjun, a man with white robe, white hair and a cold face!
At this moment, he was holding the slightly glowing 'Silkworm Dragon Staff', and behind him appeared the shadows of many mythical beasts roaring towards the sky.

He did not hold back at all in this attack and used all his strength.

It was also filled with extreme anger following a bit of pain!
"Silkworm Dragon Realm, Taiyi... I have avenged you!"

There was a ‘boom’!
The golden body of the future Buddha collapsed!

Demonic energy overflowed from the cracks!

Then a sword light whizzed past and cut right in the middle of his eyebrows!

At this moment, his eyes were wide open, and his pupils were full of unwillingness. However, with the joint efforts of the four Mahayana masters, there was no chance of luck at all.

The light in his eyes quickly went out in an instant!

"This future Buddha is much easier to deal with than I imagined."

Madam Hua floated down, glanced at Zhiyuan who fell to the ground, and giggled.

The dragon also transformed into a bald man, with black smoke lingering around him again. He fell down together with Chao Tianjun and Gai Zhenren, and stood around the corpse of the future Buddha.

The monks around were all horrified when they saw this scene. After staring blankly, they all cried and wailed:
"Buddha! Buddha has passed away!"

The great Bodhisattvas looked at the evil spirit emanating from the future Buddha, and at this moment they all had an epiphany.

They did not dare to delay and waved their sleeves, and all the monks around them were put into their sleeves at this moment!

The Buddhist kingdom, which was crowded just now, was now deathly silent.

Apart from these seven great Bodhisattvas, the only thing left was the corpse of Zhiyuan, the future Buddha who had fallen and exuded evil spirit.

"wrong!"

Seeing this scene, Master Gai's heart trembled. He looked around and his expression changed slightly. The uneasiness that had already existed in his heart reached its peak at this moment:

"How is this going?!"

At this moment.

A communication treasure in Master Gai's sleeve began to vibrate rapidly.

He didn't want to click it at first, but at this moment he felt a sense of it and subconsciously took out the treasure and injected his magic power into it.

The next moment, he heard the extremely anxious voice of his disciple Zhang Bokai:

"Grandmaster! You can't go! Master Taiyi came to tell us that the ascension of Buddha Tianshang is a trap!"
