Chapter 1033, commemorating the 201 millionth word milestone, and a preview of the new work.

First of all, I'd like to wish all the actors, including Andy Lau, Daniel Wu, Michael Miu, and Eddie Peng, a belated Happy New Year!
Just a heads-up, this book is nearing its finale. The first chapter will be released before the ending, so please look forward to it!

Then, after chatting for a few minutes, I glanced at the webpage and realized it had reached 201 million words, which made me quite emotional.

Like my previous book, Valsta, I originally intended to write short stories, but I got carried away and wrote more and more, resulting in a collection of short stories set in the same world with a somewhat loose setting.

For me, serializing "The Death of Hope," especially the final chapter "Psychic Storm," was a rather bumpy process.

I encountered the biggest setback in my life. Although I've always been unlucky and plagued by misfortune, this time it was really tough. It almost took my whole family away, and it even made me depressed.

Just a little explanation, don't blame me for being a scathing character, but I rarely encounter anything good to be happy about in life, there's negativity everywhere, it's tough, so tough~ (bitter smile)
Thankfully, we made it through without selling our house or car. It cost us a lot of money, but we can still maintain a decent life.
Going to a restaurant for a private New Year's Eve dinner, drinking and eating heartily—it was pure bliss!
Last year during the Spring Festival, I was still eating steamed buns and instant noodles in the hospital ward, squatting blankly at the entrance of the ICU for a whole day, and sleeping on the floor in the hospital corridor...

It all feels like a nightmare. When the accident happened, I really couldn't imagine things would turn out like this. During the Lunar New Year holiday, I took care of patients during the day and managed to have a late-night snack while writing.

A little bit of simple relaxation is a blessing for me right now. Only when I lose something, or almost lose it, do I realize how precious it is.

As the new year begins, life goes on, and so does my passion (writing).
Okay, I've rambled on again and gotten off-topic.

Finally, I'd like to mention that I currently have several drafts for the new work, which need to be approved by the censors. I'll choose the most feasible one from them.
I've set a rule for myself: once I start writing, I will never leave it unfinished or abandon it, unless the editor bans my account directly.
I will try my best to update daily, but there may be delays due to work or caring for patients. Please understand.
I will do my best to write well and let everyone see the improvement in my writing skills.
