Too much fruit

Chapter 1100

Chapter 1100

"So, you want to enter the first level by your own strength?"

"Why not?" Jiang Li said calmly.

He actually has quite a lot of choices for first-grade Dao fruits. In addition to the Three Pure Ones Dao fruits, Xi Huang's Dao fruit is also very compatible with Jiang Li.

Emperor Xi is now sealed by Jiang Li, so if he really wants to get his hands on Fuxi Dao Fruit, it is not impossible.

However, Jiang Li gave up the Three Pure Ones Taoist artifact because he did not want to be influenced by the original owner of the Taoist fruit. Now he chooses Fuxi Taoist fruit. Isn't he going back to his old ways?

There are risks in accommodating the Three Pure Ones Dao Fruit, and so does accommodating the Fuxi Dao Fruit. The Three Pure Ones Dao Fruit belongs to the Heavenly Dao, while the Three Emperors Dao Fruit belongs to the Human Dao. The Human Dao may not be as broad as the Heavenly Dao, but the risks are equally great.

Even though Jiang Li possesses the magical power of the [First Ancestor of Humanity] and stands at the initial position of the torrent of humanity, he dare not say that he completely ignores humanity.

In fact, because Jiang Li had once received the Dao Fruits of the Green Emperor and the Yan Emperor, he was more likely to be affected by the Dao Fruit of Fuxi.

Apart from anything else, if Emperor Xi gave his Dao Fruit some ingredients and allowed Jiang Li to possess saintly virtues after accommodating it, Jiang Li would be in trouble.

Having been an immoral person for so many years, Jiang Li doesn't want to be bound by morality.

Of course, Emperor Xi also understood Jiang Li's thoughts. He did not mean to underestimate Jiang Li, but -

"The Dao Fruit cultivation system allows practitioners to still have hope in the Five Turbidities and Evil Worlds, and if they can use the false to cultivate the true, they may be able to catch up with the great powers before the Dharma Ending Age. However, success or failure is all due to the Dao Fruit."

The voice of Emperor Xi came slowly, "To contain Dao Fruit is to bear the karma of others. The more you contain, the more karma you bear. These karmas become the steps for advancement, but in the end, they also become further constraints. Dao Fruit practitioners should never have condensed their own Dao Fruit, even someone as strong as you should not be able to, because you bear too many karmas."

"To put it quantitatively, if you are the only one with the cause and effect, then you only need to break through the bottleneck. Each cause and effect is equivalent to helping one more person break through. You now carry eight Dao fruits, which means that if you want to break through, the difficulty will increase by at least eight times."

"It is already difficult to enter the realm of the Heavenly Venerable. Even the Jade Emperor Heavenly Venerable chose to rely on Yu Zhidao Fruit to break through. Your breakthrough is much more difficult than his. It is almost impossible for you to succeed in breaking through on your own."

The word "almost" was added because Emperor Xi never believed in predestination.

The Yi Dao he created was originally a way of change, emphasizing the Great Derivation of fifty, the Heaven Derivation of forty-nine, and escaping one, and nothing in the world is predetermined. So, he added "almost" politely. If it were someone else, they would have told Jiang Li directly that it was impossible.

However, this also made Jiang Li understand the key to the realm of Heavenly Venerate.

"From what you said, the key to the Heavenly Venerable realm lies above cause and effect."

After listening to what Emperor Xi said, Jiang Li felt that he still had to give some respect to this most ancient human emperor, so he addressed him as "you" to allow him to continue speaking.

"That's right," Xi Huang said, not wanting to be a riddler. "The so-called realm of the Heavenly Venerable begins with the Three Pure Ones. They are the innate supreme beings, born as Heavenly Venerables, standing at the top. Heaven is the highest, Venerable is the most noble. The Heavenly Venerable is as respected as Heaven, coexists with Tao, and is not stained by cause and effect. The cause and effect of the world cannot affect the Heavenly Venerable, only the cause and effect of heaven and earth are tied to the Heavenly Venerable. This is because the Heavenly Venerable himself was born with heaven and earth, and the cause and effect are tied to the root, and it is difficult to get out."

"It is precisely because they only have the cause and effect of heaven and earth in their bodies that the Three Pure Ones imagined the transcendence after the Heavenly Lord. The so-called transcendence is to transcend heaven and earth, to be free from all causes and not to be subject to all consequences. It is no longer to be equal to heaven, but to be above heaven."

In other words, if you want to become a Heavenly Lord, you must first transcend your own cause and effect.

Transcending one's own karma may not necessarily lead to becoming a celestial being, but a celestial being must be free from the causality of the world. This kind of freedom does not mean not being touched, but even if it is touched, it is difficult to get rid of it and cannot stick to the celestial being.

Just like Amitabha Buddha, who is worshipped by countless believers, but is not affected by them. Even if all the believers die, it will not harm Amitabha Buddha. But it is different for other Buddhas. Once all the believers die, the foundation of the Pure Land of Buddha will be destroyed.

Jiang Li sorted out Xi Huang's words one by one and understood his meaning.

The key to transcending one's own karma is the word "self". "Self" refers to one's own karma, and practitioners of the Daoguo system have basically integrated the karma of others. If one wants to transcend, one needs to have the power of "oneself".

This difficulty has nothing to do with the amount of cause and effect associated with the fruit of the Tao itself, but rather with its type.

If this is the case, Dao Fruit practitioners of the lower four grades may still be able to condense their own Dao Fruit, because although they also accommodate external causes and effects, their Dao Fruits are generally mass-produced and not unique.

Jiang Li's situation was a bit more difficult, as all of his Dao Fruits were unique, and he had even completed all of them except the Qing Emperor's Dao Fruit.

It was as if there were eight gates standing in front of him, blocking the way completely.

However, it is not necessarily true that the door cannot be opened.

If you can't push open these doors by your own strength, you might as well use external forces. For example, find a master key, open these eight doors, and naturally enter the world behind the door.

The first-class Dao fruit is the universal key...

"And the Great Heavenly Venerable, Queen Mother of the West and others want to take this path." Jiang Li thought clearly.

Although Emperor Xi was sealed, he seemed to see Jiang Li's thoughtful expression clearly.

"It seems that you have figured it out," Xi Huang said slowly, "Although the Dao Fruit cultivation system has many shackles, it is a smooth path to heaven. With the help of the first-grade Dao Fruit, you can directly enter the realm of the Heavenly Venerable, and use the cause and effect of the Heavenly Venerable to cut off the other causes and effects, and open the road to the ultimate realm."

"But this is not without cost. In addition to the most fundamental cause and effect of heaven and earth, the promoted Heavenly Venerable must also bear the cause and effect of another Heavenly Venerable. They have clearly transcended their own cause and effect, but they cannot transcend the cause and effect of another Heavenly Venerable."

At this point, the ultimate direction of the Daoguo cultivation system has been clearly revealed.

The cause and effect of the existence of the realm of Heavenly Venerate has long been revealed. What they want the rest of the people to bear is the cause and effect from heaven and earth.

Even Pangu, who created the world, has his own cause and effect. His roots were born in the beginning of the universe. He was born in the beginning of the universe, created Taisu, and evolved Taiji.

The Three Pure Ones, who were transformed from one qi, naturally also bore this cause and effect, and it was difficult to untie it.

Emperor Xi said that the Daoguo cultivation system was a success or failure of Daoguo, and the same was true for the Three Pure Ones. They were born as celestial masters, but because of their origins, they found it difficult to unravel the original cause and effect.

It can even be said that the Three Pure Ones themselves represent the greatest cause and effect.

Yuanshi Tianzun is the cause of all results, Lingbao Tianzun is the result of all causes, and Daode Tianzun is symbolized by Tai Chi, representing the last stage of the Five Tais, which is the foundation of all things in heaven and earth. The combination of the three is the cause, the result, and the evolution process between cause and result.

This cause and effect is almost impossible to untie, but it is not impossible to transfer. And the person who bears this cause and effect... or who becomes a Heavenly Lord with the help of this cause and effect, in addition to the cause and effect between himself and the heaven and earth, must also bear the greatest cause and effect of the unity of the Three Pure Ones...

Not to mention the impossible thing of transcendence, it is even a question whether one will be assimilated into the heaven and earth.

Although the Three Pure Ones are one, they are divided into three, and bear this cause and effect in the form of three. If these three causes and effects are attributed to one person, what will happen in the end? I am afraid that even the Three Pure Ones do not know.

Jiang Li sat on the dragon throne, his face expressionless, and he didn't seem moved by this discovery. However, his fingers tapping lightly on the armrest revealed his thoughts.

"According to this calculation, although the Dao Fruit cultivation system was started by Dao Jun, the source of the Dao Fruit is still in the Three Pure Ones?" Jiang Li said, "They let the Dao Fruit cultivation flourish in the world, the purpose is to let a suitable person carry their Dao Fruit and take over their karma?"

Emperor Yan had said before that the Three Pure Ones had already succeeded halfway, but were in an awkward situation because of the cause and effect between them and the heaven and earth. If even this cause and effect was transferred away, then the remaining half step would not be taken.

And as far as Jiang Li knew, even before the end of the Dharma, not every immortal, Buddha, god or demon would leave behind any fruits of the Tao after their death.

Even in that horrific Dharma Ending Age, even if one has left behind the fruits of the Tao, they may not be able to be preserved.

However, the fact is that after the Dharma Ending Age, Tao fruits fell like rain, and even the worst immortals and gods left behind Tao fruits that belonged to them alone.

If there is nothing fishy about this, Jiang Li will never get close to women again.

“Although I don’t know what will happen after the Dharma Ending Period, but in my memory, the only ones who have such ability are the Three Pure Ones,” Xi Huang replied.

This confirmed Jiang Li's inquiry.

But Jiang Li still did not express his opinion. Instead, he looked at the Tai Chi seal and said calmly: "The purpose of the Three Pure Ones is to find someone to take over the cause and effect. What about you? Your Majesty, Emperor Xi, what is your purpose in telling me this?"

There is no free lunch in this world, even if the one who provides the lunch is Emperor Xi.

Having a saintly heart does not mean that he is a pushover who will answer questions for his enemy Jiang Li.

"My purpose is actually very simple," Xi Huang chuckled, "Your own karma is mixed with too many external karmas. It is almost impossible to break through with your own strength. And the karma of the Three Pure Ones is too heavy. It is hard to determine whether it will be a blessing or a disaster after bearing it. In this case, carrying my Dao Fruit would be a better choice."

"I want to jump out of time. Whether I succeed or fail, I will die. You don't need to worry that I will affect your state of mind with the fruit of the Tao. At most, it will be more difficult to transcend in the future."

But no matter how difficult it is, it is easier than the unprecedented heavy cause and effect of the Three Pure Ones.

When faced with two evils, choosing the lesser one, choosing Fuxi Daoguo is indeed a good choice.

Emperor Xi said so much just to persuade Jiang Li to reconcile.

"His Majesty Emperor Xi is confident and is certain that he can escape the seal."

Jiang Li remained unmoved, with no sign of being moved. He leaned back on the dragon chair and said, "And you missed one thing. I don't know if you did it on purpose or accidentally."

"Before the End of the Dharma, if you want to ascend to the realm of Heavenly Venerable, you need to transcend your own karma. After the End of the Dharma, that is, now, the practitioners of the Dao Fruit System are bound by karma, and it is almost impossible to transcend karma. However, why do practitioners of the Dao Fruit System need to transcend karma?"

Countless rays of light were reflected in Jiang Li's eyes, and he could even see through his own Dao Fruit.

He just said: "Tao fruit is cause and effect. If you can melt your own cause and effect into Tao fruit, then even if you don't cut off the cause and effect, you can still be promoted, right?"

To put it simply, it is to refine one's own cause and effect into a first-grade Dao fruit in order to restrain cause and effect.

It’s possible to use other people’s first-grade Dao Fruit to advance, but why not use your own first-grade Dao Fruit to advance?
If using other people's first-grade Dao fruit is equivalent to using a key to open a series of doors, then refining one's own Dao fruit is to refine all the doors into Dao fruits and put them into one's body.

This action should be the same as carrying the promotion of the first-grade Dao fruit, and will bear more cause and effect, but at least the extra cause and effect are your own cause and effect.

Inside the Taiji seal, Emperor Xi heard this, pondered for a moment, and then said: "If this can be accomplished, you can indeed be promoted, but there is one thing you should not have overlooked. First, with your second-grade realm, it is as difficult as ascending to heaven to smelt a first-grade Dao fruit."

"Second, I have already said it before. Because you have integrated the cause and effect of others, your own cause and effect are mixed. It is almost impossible to condense your own Dao fruit."

The first-grade Dao fruit was left behind by a Heavenly Venerable-level being. If one wanted to condense a first-grade Dao fruit at the second grade, one would most likely fall into a vicious circle.

To advance to the first rank, you need to condense the first rank Dao fruit, so go ahead and condense it.

But to condense the first-grade Dao fruit, you need to first become a Heavenly Venerate, that is, the first grade, then you become a Heavenly Venerate.

This cycle repeats itself, and we are trapped in an unsolvable vicious circle.

In addition, there is the matter of condensing one's own Tao fruit.

The Dao Fruit cultivation system has been in the world for so many years, and there are definitely many people who are able to become the strongest, understand their own cause and effect, grasp the essence of Dao Fruit, and are qualified to condense their own Dao Fruit.

But in the end, they are only qualified, but unable to condense their own Tao fruit.

The reason for this is that its foundation is built on the Tao fruit and is difficult to change.

Even if they were able to use the false to cultivate the true, they could not really bring out the "true". In the end, they could only use the false to cultivate the true.

"but--"

Jiang Li's eyes were dim, and his mind was full of thoughts. "What they can't do, I may be able to do."

'My karma, my experiences, the path of my life... they are all here.'

His eyes fell on the book that only Jiang Li could see. The pages turned back and forth, presenting Jiang Li's life experiences.

The Cause and Effect Collection records all of Jiang Li's past, as well as all of Jiang Li's skills, experiences, and insights. The cause and effect records that belong to him alone are still preserved, without any other causes and effects mixed in.
