When Sunlight Bodhisattva heard the resounding Buddha's name and sensed the dark meaning that had been swept away, he whispered, "The Master's Dharma is becoming more and more profound. It's a pity..."

He glanced expressionlessly in the direction of Wufo Temple, then turned around, went to the shady side, and entered Jiuhua Temple which reappeared in the world of the living.

Because of the battle after Tubo's arrival, Jiuhua Temple was filled with ghostly auras and residual souls were rampant. It was no longer suitable for monks with insufficient realm to enter. There was no scene of monks coming to chant the "Nirvana Mantra" before.

In the huge space of the temple, ruins can be seen everywhere, and spirits are howling and wailing, creating a gloomy scene.

In the ruined square, the Chakravartin sat cross-legged on a stone statue in the shape of an animal, silently reciting scriptures. Buddhist texts appeared one after another, purifying the resentment and making the remaining souls pure and dissipated, turning into only a faint spiritual thought, which returned to the wheel suspended in the air.

There is no Buddhist temple or Buddha statue in Jiuhua Temple anymore, but with this person here, it is like the real Buddha coming to the world, bringing peace and tranquility.

"Amitabha."

Sunlight Bodhisattva came closer, chanted a Buddhist name, raised his palm and said, "Buddha friend."

"Buddhist friend." The Chakravartin paused his chanting and returned the greeting.

"Have you, fellow Buddhists, sensed the call?" The Sunlight Bodhisattva went straight to the point without beating around the bush.

The Chakravartin of course knew what the Sunlight Bodhisattva was talking about. He shook his head slowly and said, "This is the thought of the devil's calamity. I have decided to reject it."

"Whether it is a demon or a Buddha, it is still unknown."

Sunlight Bodhisattva said expressionlessly, "One hundred years ago, the First Lord personally appointed you to take over the Pure Land lineage. As long as you were promoted to the fourth rank, you would become the head of the lineage, and you could expect to be the first lord in the future. However, a demonic disaster cut off your path, and even the Pure Land lineage was later taken over by the White Lotus Mother Bodhisattva. Although you are a fourth rank, you only have the name of a Bodhisattva, but not the reality. Are you willing to accept this?"

"Whether you are willing or not, it is all due to karma," the Wheel-Turning King said with his eyes lowered, "I am neither willing nor unwilling."

"At this moment, fellow Buddha is still arguing with this poor monk," Sunlight Bodhisattva said with a hint of sternness in his voice, "You know that the demonic disaster did not come from outside, but from the heart of the abbot. That Karma Tathagata is the demon of the abbot."

The Enlightened One and the Chakravartin were not master and disciple in name only, but in reality. The Chakravartin was originally recognized as the one who would take over the throne in the future, but their past was severed due to the battle between Karma Tathagata and the Enlightened One.

And now, the Bodhisattva of Sunlight has further revealed the relationship between the Awakened One and the Karma Tathagata. This statement is enough to make any Buddhist practitioner lose their mind and become unable to control themselves. Even Manjushri and Guanyin lost their composure because of this.

However, there was no change on the face of the Chakravartin, he still kept his brows lowered and his eyes calm.

"you know."

The anger gathered between the brows of Sunlight Bodhisattva, and it was like the angry eyes of a diamond, full of grim meaning, "You have known about the relationship between the chief seat and Karma Tathagata for a long time, right or not?"

The Chakravartin remained silent.

Seeing this, Sunlight Bodhisattva became even angrier. A Bodhisattva image appeared behind him, showing a furious look. "You have been deliberately showing your distance from me for the past few years, just to show off to others. Besides, your future is not cut off. The abbot has already arranged a third-grade fruition for you."

"Great Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha! The First Seat erased all relevant records in the Buddhist Kingdom and hid the name of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, just to help you ascend without others knowing. Even if there was no demonic disaster, you would still give up your physical body, first turn into a ghost, and then ascend to Ksitigarbha."

"And the reason why the chief and you did this is to be on guard against us. He wants to purge us after you are promoted, right?"

The rage on the face of Sunlight Bodhisattva grew stronger and stronger, until finally his voice and expression became fierce, and his anger seemed to burn the Chakravartin to ashes.

The intention of the enlightened one was revealed, causing the Bodhisattva of the Buddhist Kingdom to lose his mind. Even the supernatural powers of the Arhat and the realm of the Bodhisattva could not suppress the anger in his heart.

The Chakravartin was like the earth, calm and unmoved, quietly listening to the angry words of the Bodhisattva of Sunlight.

When the wrath of Sunlight Bodhisattva erupted with all his words, the Chakravartin King finally said, "Buddhist friend, you are attached to appearances."

This sentence was like a spark that burned the heart of Sunlight Bodhisattva with anger. Buddha's light burst out from the body of Sunlight Bodhisattva, but at the same time, the six-path wheel behind the Wheel-Turning King also started to rotate, turning the six paths and causing the Buddha's light to disappear completely.

It seemed that the fight was about to start, but due to the merits of the Chakravartin, the situation was calmed down. However—

The Sunlight Bodhisattva suddenly calmed down from his anger, with a calm expression, so calm that it even felt weird. He put his hands together and formed a strange hand seal. In an instant, a stream of light appeared, and an extremely powerful force came from the dark void and descended upon the body of the Sunlight Bodhisattva.

At the same time, a barrier appeared, isolating Jiuhua Temple from the outside world.

Judging from the sudden appearance of the barrier, it turned out that it had been set up a long time ago.

The King of the Wheels suddenly opened his eyes wide and looked at the seal made by the Sunlight Bodhisattva with shock in his eyes, "This... Amitabha's welcoming seal!"

The Six Paths Wheel suddenly stopped, and the six Buddha statues seemed to be about to escape from the wheel, while at the same time pressing towards the Sunlight Bodhisattva who was making a strange seal.

But, it's too late.

"These living beings first receive such retribution, and then fall into hell, where they spend countless kalpas without a hope of escape. The karma of the living beings in Jambuvipa is different, and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva teaches and enlightens them with hundreds of thousands of expedients."

"Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" The Sunlight Bodhisattva drew on the supreme power, but did not use it to attack and kill. Instead, he uttered the mantra, and the sound moved the unknown. The supreme power affected the cause and effect of all things, and a ray of Buddha's light burst out from the beast-shaped stone statue under the throne of the Chakravartin.

Then, a Buddha image suddenly appeared and overlapped with the figure of the Chakravartin.

The Six Paths Wheel suddenly stopped, and the Chakravartin was involuntarily frozen on the stone statue. Buddha's energy rose from his body, and Buddha's light flowed through his body and fell behind his head, transforming into a round light.

The Sunlight Bodhisattva did not take any action, and the Chakravartin was unable to do anything.

A third-grade Taoist fruit automatically entered his body and merged with him.

"I know much more than you Buddhist friends imagine."

The Sunlight Bodhisattva smiled, and slowly loosened his hands and put them down. "The main reason for erasing the name of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is not to help you ascend without others knowing, but to extinguish the true spirit of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. If the name of the Bodhisattva is widely known, even if there is no temple or offering, it can still provide a little incense. This is the common trait of the people of the Buddhist country. They believe in the existence of this Bodhisattva."

"So, we need to stop offering incense, so that the true spirit of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva will continue to weaken, and then the right person can suppress it, destroy it, and then assimilate it."

And this person is the Chakravartin.

He turned to the way of ghosts and had been living in the underworld for many years, in order to wipe out the true spirit of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and then accommodate his Taoist fruit and replace it.

When the Chakravartin heard these words, his expression finally lost its composure, but the shock in his eyes subsided.

A solemn aura that was not like that of a ghost cultivator emerged from his entire body. The Six Paths Wheel descended, suppressing the Buddha's light behind his head. At the same time, he shot out chains of mantras, wrapping around his body, trying to lock up the Dao Fruit that had merged into his body.

"This is not something you should know." The Wheel King said in a deep voice while suppressing the Tao Fruit.

Among the three grades of the Buddha, there are very few who can still preserve their true spirits and have not been annihilated in the Five Turbidities, or the time of annihilation has not yet come. This is the news that the Awakened One told Jiang Li, and the Wheel King, as the Awakened One's designated successor, should also know it.

But the Sunlight Bodhisattva should definitely not know this.

He had neither the information channels nor the ability to detect the true spirit inside the Tao Fruit.

The secret of Buddha's Tao Fruit may not even be known by other powerful people. This secret has been passed down among the successive leaders of the Buddhist country.

"Of course I don't know."

Sunlight Bodhisattva showed a cold expression, "If I had known that you rebels were trying to go against the Dharma and destroy the true spirit of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, how could I have allowed you to get away with it until today?"

Although Sunlight Bodhisattva had put away his angry expression while speaking, the anger between his brows became more and more obvious.

Some of his anger was pretended before, but now it was real anger.

In the Buddhist world, respecting Buddha is common sense. Practitioners in the Buddhist world also live in this environment, and everyone has a heart of worshipping Buddha. Even if they later become Arhats, Bodhisattvas, and become objects of worship by others, they still have a sense of respect in their hearts.

Although it cannot be ruled out that Manjushri and others took advantage of the Buddha, or even the name of their own ancestors, to falsely accuse Yan Emperor of being the reincarnation of Vairocana Tathagata, and then usurped the incense and faith of both Yan Emperor and Vairocana Tathagata, there are also some Buddhist practitioners who always respect those Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who have disappeared.

Obviously, Sunlight Bodhisattva is one of them.

He has now become a bodhisattva in the eyes of others, but he is still a Buddhist.

In the eyes of Sunlight Bodhisattva, the actions of the enlightened one and the Chakravartin are tantamount to betraying their teacher and ancestors, which is a great disrespect. They should be sent to hell for eternity without reincarnation, and only then can they atone for their sins.

The King of the Wheel of Time was in danger, but his heart was not in turmoil. After discovering that the Sunlight Bodhisattva was a person who worshipped Buddhism, an idea popped up in his mind, "The true spirit in the Tao Fruit has already awakened, and he is the one who instructed you!"

The Amitabha Buddha's guiding seal is the power to guide others. The power that the Sunlight Bodhisattva uses to awaken Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's fruit of the Tao does not come from himself. He is a wheel-turning king who uses the power of others to plot against him.

Only in this way can the Chakravartin be prevented from fighting back.

Moreover, in theory, only enlightened ones can have such control over the Buddha's fruits.

If the awakened ones are ruled out, then the only possibility is that some dead but not yet stiff undead spirits have awakened.

The Chakravartin who discovered this seemed to be shocked in his mind, and finally found it difficult to suppress the fusion of the Tao fruit, while the Sunlight Bodhisattva sneered repeatedly.

"You are worthy of being the successor chosen by the First Lord. Unfortunately, even if you know it now, what can you do? You can't stop Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva from achieving enlightenment."

Sunlight Bodhisattva looked at the Buddha light coming out of the Chakravartin and said, "You are the least likely to betray the abbot. The abbot will never expect your betrayal."

The Buddha's light became increasingly stronger and penetrated the body of the Chakravartin and radiated outwards. The ghost body of the Chakravartin was dyed golden. A precious pearl condensed in his left hand and a staff appeared in his right hand.

The stone statue under the seat reorganized and turned into a thousand-petal lotus platform to support his body. The halo behind his head overlapped with the Six Paths Wheel, and the six Buddha statues on the wheel became completely solidified.

"I will not attain Buddhahood until hell is empty, and I will not attain Bodhi until all sentient beings are saved."

The Chakravartin had completely changed his appearance. He made a great wish and the Buddha's light shone everywhere. Wherever he passed, the resentment of the remaining souls disappeared. The twisted ghost face gradually turned into a normal human form and he slowly disappeared with a look of relief.
