Chapter 1302 The Pattern of Attacks by Psychopaths! (Please subscribe and vote)
The car door opened and five men in black suits got out.

Their faces were pale and their eyes were cold; they were the vampire leaders.

Jones held his breath, watching from the shadows.

After getting out of the car, the vampire leaders walked straight to the church's meeting room like a bunch of enemies, completely unaware of the abnormality in the parking lot.

That's the opportunity Jones is fighting for.

After the vampire leaders left, he quickly ran out of his hiding place and came to the first luxury car. He found the location of the car logo at a glance, which was right on the hood of the car.

With a "click", the golden cheetah logo was broken off by Jones.

Seeing that no one noticed, he followed the same method and quickly removed the logos of the other four cars one by one.

The whole process took less than four minutes, but Jones' heart was beating so fast that it seemed like it was going to jump out of his chest.

Jones stuffed the five car logos into his pocket and immediately ran back to his taxi.

He started the engine and slowly drove out of the parking lot.

It wasn't until they drove a few blocks that Jones breathed a sigh of relief and a victorious smile appeared on his face.

It’s good to have a plan, everything is within your expectations.

Unlike before, when we would only think of solutions when we encountered troubles, and life and death were hanging by a thread.

Just when he relaxed his vigilance, a dark shadow suddenly flashed in the rearview mirror.

Jones' heart sank suddenly, and his hands gripping the steering wheel began to tremble slightly.

"Have I been discovered?"

Jones kept looking through the three rearview mirrors, but there was nothing around him, which made him wonder if he was dazzled.

After completing the first mission, Jones rushed to the second mission location without stopping, ready to investigate the source of the strange occurrence.

As he drove, he sorted out the known information in his mind.

"The strange occurrence is related to the mental patient, so as long as we find the place where the strange occurrence is about to happen, we can find the mental patient, that is, the person the psychiatrist asked me to find." Jones whispered to himself with a clear idea.

He knew that this level constantly reminded the chosen ones what "rules" were.

As long as we find the common points in the places where strange things happen, we can predict the next outbreak location.

"Let's go to the nearest strange landing site first."

Jones made up his mind, turned the car around and drove towards the east side of the city.

Not long after, Jones arrived in front of a residential building.

The building looked like it had been through a disaster, with cracks all over the exterior walls, broken windows, and a strong smell of blood in the air.

The ground was littered with broken glass and furniture debris, and the walls were streaked with deep scratches and bullet holes.

Jones stopped the car and walked carefully into the residential building.

The corridor was pitch black, with only a few rays of sunlight filtering in through the broken windows, barely illuminating the road ahead.

Jones walked in with gritted teeth and found it covered with strange symbols and graffiti. These graffiti felt like some special marks, but he was an ordinary Chosen One and did not quite understand them, so he just remembered them silently.

He searched floor after floor but found nothing.

The room was empty, with only scattered clothes and daily necessities. The residents must have fled in a hurry.

Just as Jones was thinking, he saw scratches and bullet holes, and his memory suddenly flashed, and he remembered the residential building where the evil god lived that he had visited last time. There were also scratches and bullet holes in that building.

Maybe this is the hint and clue.

Then what you need to find should be on the top floor!

Jones' eyes lit up and he quickly ran to the stairwell.

He rushed all the way to the top floor and found that the door leading to the roof was locked with a thick iron chain.

The chain had been opened and the padlock had fallen to the ground, showing that someone had been here before. Jones pushed open the iron door and walked onto the rooftop.

The rooftop was empty, with only a destroyed statue standing in the corner.

The head of the statue was smashed, the body was covered with cracks, and there were some black bloodstains on the base.

Jones squatted down and carefully examined the remains of the statue. He could see that the destroyer hated this thing very much.

Could it be that the target of the mentally ill person's attack was the building with the statue of God? Or did he have a grudge against God and his followers?

Jones was confused, but he vaguely felt that his guess might be right.

To verify this idea, Jones decided to go to the second place where the strange thing happened, which was an office building.

He drove to the office building and found that the situation there was similar to that of a residential building.

The building's exterior was covered in cracks and broken glass was scattered all over the ground. There were strange symbols and graffiti inside the building, and the air was filled with a rotten smell.

Jones walked into the office building and went straight to the top floor.

Sure enough, he found a damaged statue on the rooftop.

This statue is even more dilapidated than the one on the residential building, and it is almost impossible to recognize its original appearance.

That's right, mentally ill people have a grudge against idols.

With this conclusion, Jones began to search the city for buildings that might contain statues of the deity.

He drove through the streets, his eyes scanning every tall building.

There are so many buildings in the city that searching one by one may take a lot of time.

It would definitely be correct to search according to the pattern. There would be strange symbols and graffiti in every building where something had happened.

Just find this, and that's where the psychopath will attack.

After driving a taxi in the city for about 40 minutes, he locked onto a building that seemed to be the target.

This residential building is quite old, and people coming in and out seem very mysterious.

Most importantly, Jones saw the strange symbols and graffiti.

Just as he was about to get out of the car to investigate, a dark shadow flashed in the rearview mirror again.

Jones' heart sank as he realized he was not being overly suspicious and was definitely being followed.

He immediately got out of the car and started looking for clues, but found that the cat he had just met in the Vatican followed him.

The first time I felt a dark shadow flash by, I guess it was this.

The kitten jumped lightly in front of Jones, rubbed its head against his trouser leg, and made a "meow" sound.

Jones was stunned for a moment, then he squatted down and touched the kitten's head, and asked softly, "Are you hungry?"

The kitten nodded, and seemed to understand what people were saying. There was a hint of anticipation in its eyes, and it seemed that it really wanted to eat salmon.

In fact, only the chosen ones who obtain the special salmon can be blessed by the kitten.

Jones was lucky and completed the task by accident.

Seeing the kitten's greedy look, Jones smiled helplessly and said, "Okay, if I can finish the task earlier, I'll help you catch another one."

He originally planned to put the kitten in the car, but after thinking about it, according to his own rules, as long as the kitten got in the car, it would be a passenger, which would trigger unexpected trouble, so he decided to take it with him.

Besides, this cat is the cardinal's pet, and it might be useful at a critical moment.

"Come on, little guy, don't run around." Jones picked up the kitten and walked towards the residential building.

What he didn't know was that this action saved his life.
