This guesthouse has many rules and hides all sorts of strange things; it might even be one of the hiding places for the beautiful woman with peach blossom eyes.

Of course, Zhang Yangqing was only speculating. The world on the ground was so vast that she might not even be in this city, but having a clue was better than having none.

Upon hearing Zhang Yangqing's question, the blond-haired man's eyes lit up strangely. He immediately straightened his back and struck what he considered his coolest pose: "Do you believe in love at first sight?"

Zhang Yangqing and Tongpi exchanged a strange look, both giving each other a "Are you fucking kidding me?" expression.

Zhang Yangqing: "Stop talking nonsense, just say what you have to say."

Copper Skin said strangely, "Hurry up."

The blond-haired man cleared his throat strangely and began to tell his "romantic story," his expression one of blissful reverie, as if he were lost in beautiful memories:
"That day I was strolling along the roadside, and in one glance, I fell in love with a woman! Her eyes, her aura, her figure... she was simply a gift from heaven! I've never seen such a beautiful woman!"

He became more and more excited as he spoke, gesturing wildly:

"I confessed my feelings right there and then! Guess what? I was rejected! But I didn't give up. I followed her trail all the way, and perhaps it was a blessing from heaven, but I finally found this place."

He spoke so beautifully, as if he were bravely pursuing love, as if he were a devoted lover.

Zhang Yangqing and Tongpi were speechless after hearing this.

Copper Skin's weird, foul-mouthed habit kicked in again, and he immediately started yelling: "You call that love at first sight? You're a total stalker! Have you no shame?"

The blond-haired man looked speechless. "You've made my love worthless!" But he was too lazy to argue, since he couldn't beat this guy.

He pursed his lips and muttered under his breath, "What do you know? This is love!"

Zhang Yangqing, however, seemed to be deep in thought and interrupted his muttering: "Have you seen a lot of beautiful women?"

Upon hearing this, the blond-haired man immediately became smug, his tail practically wagging in the air: "Of course! I've never forgotten a beautiful woman I've ever seen! I'm not bragging, but in the entire Yudu, which pretty woman haven't I seen?"

This blond guy is a typical scoundrel.

Zhang Yangqing nodded and took out paper and pen from his pocket.

He started drawing.

The pen tip moved swiftly across the paper, the lines smooth and precise, as if that face had long been etched into his mind.

His movements were fluid and seamless, without the slightest pause, each stroke perfectly executed.

The blond-haired weirdo and the copper-skinned weirdo stood to the side, not paying much attention at first.

But as they watched, their expressions changed.

That face is gradually emerging on the paper.

With peach blossom eyes, willow-leaf eyebrows, red lips and white teeth, her eyes seemed to exude a myriad of charms.

Although it's a still painting, it makes you feel like those eyes are looking at you, with three parts allure, three parts aloofness, and four parts unfathomable mystery.

That was a face that could make anyone's heart flutter.

After finishing the last stroke, Zhang Yangqing put down his pen and blew away the crumbs on the paper.

Copper Skin leaned closer for a look and froze.

His mouth was agape, his eyes were wide open, and he couldn't utter a word for a long time.

After a long while, he swallowed hard and murmured, "My God! How can there be such a beauty in this world?"

Even if he wasn't a womanizer, he couldn't help but sigh.

That face, that aura, they simply didn't seem to belong to this world.

The blond-haired guy was completely dumbfounded and stood there dumbfounded.

He stared at the portrait, his eyes widening and his mouth gaping open, his expression shifting from shock to disbelief, and then to a complex, indescribable emotion.

He looked up at Zhang Yangqing with a complicated expression: "Great God, you like her too?" Zhang Yangqing rolled his eyes at him, his tone flat and without a trace of emotion: "Not really interested. She has clues that I need."

The blond-haired man breathed a sigh of relief, then excitedly pointed at the portrait, his voice trembling: "It's her! It's that face! I've been chasing after her!"

He said incoherently, "I chased her here, but after I came in, I couldn't find her anywhere. I couldn't open many of those doors, and I didn't know if anyone was inside. There was a strange old man at the door. I asked him, and he said he couldn't see clearly and didn't know anything."

He paused, then added with a hint of melancholy, "I almost thought I'd broken up with my boyfriend, but don't worry, bro, if you take a fancy to her, I definitely won't steal her! I have principles; I don't touch my brother's woman!"

Copper Skin started his sarcastic remarks again: "How dare you say that? That woman doesn't even like you, and you're still fighting over her? Who do you think you can beat?"

The blond-haired man was strangely angry, his face turning red with frustration.

Someone as big as you should be the quiet, reserved type, right? Why are you talking so much? And you keep humiliating me!
If I weren't weaker than you, I would have given you a bloody lesson!
Sigh, a higher cultivation level is really overwhelming.

Forget it, I won't argue with you.

Huang Mao could only mutter to himself in a strange way, while forcing a smile on his face, not daring to show it.

He took a deep breath to calm himself, then looked at Zhang Yangqing, his expression becoming serious.

“Brother, I didn’t have a portrait before, so I couldn’t describe it. Now that I have a portrait, I can ask around. I have some connections here and know a few old hands. I should be able to get some information out of them.”

Zhang Yangqing handed him the portrait: "Take it."

Just as the blond-haired eerie figure reached out to take it, the copper-skinned eerie figure added, "Use the portrait carefully and don't do anything filthy."

The blond-haired man gave a strange look: "."

When will you ever stop?!

He grabbed the portrait, glared at the copper-plated figure with a strange look, and then walked away without looking back.

That figure carried three parts anger, three parts helplessness, and four parts the frustration of "If I can't afford to offend them, can't I at least avoid them?"

Copper Skin looked at the strange back of the blond-haired man with a grin, then turned to Zhang Yangqing, his expression turning serious: "Master, what do we do now?"

He is very strong, but he just wants to bully the blond guy.

Zhang Yangqing stared at him, his gaze calm yet profound, as if he could see through people's hearts: "You still haven't told me what you're doing here. Don't tell me you're just here for fun?"

The relaxed atmosphere instantly turned tense.

Copper Skin paused for a moment, then spread his hands, his nonchalant expression vanishing, replaced by seriousness and solemnity: "Great God, I admit I have an ulterior motive."

He paused, seemingly organizing his thoughts, a hint of apprehension flashing in his eyes: "As the administrator of Yudu, I've always felt that there are many hidden forces in this city. Besides humans and semi-mysteries, there are also some things that even I find evil."

Zhang Yangqing didn't speak, but just looked at him, signaling him to continue.

Copper Skin's strange expression turned serious. He lowered his voice, as if afraid of being overheard: "Those guys feed on us strange beings. It's not ordinary killing and devouring. They use our essence as sustenance for cultivation. Moreover, they can perfectly integrate into our living world. We can't find their traces at all."

“My people have mysteriously disappeared. At first, I thought they were killed by other monsters or humans, but later I realized that was not the case. The bodies of the monsters that were killed are still there, but their essence dissipates. But those who disappeared are like they have vanished into thin air, without even a body.”

He clenched his fist, his knuckles turning white: "There are no records of these guys in my inherited memories, but I have been to some human ruins and found clues there."

He lowered his voice and uttered a few words, as if afraid of disturbing something: "That is the demon race."

Zhang Yangqing's eyes flickered slightly.

Copper Skin continued eerily, his tone filled with deep apprehension:
“The demons are different from us. We are born from resentment and negative emotions, and are products of chaos. But the demons are a special race with their own complete civilization and heritage, their own history and order.”

"They are naturally able to counter our strangeness. In a battle of equal strength, we have almost no chance of winning. Their power has a natural suppression over us."

At this point, Zhang Yangqing roughly understood the meaning of Rule 26.

Have you noticed their presence? Perhaps they can help you!

The fact that demons can suppress the supernatural is, in a sense, a great help to them!
