Chapter 715 Hongwu is not good
Zhao Guangyi felt that his fingers were a little stiff as he turned the Buddhist beads.

This was partly because she could feel her brother's gaze assessing her.

On the one hand, it was also because of my brother's question:
"How about trying to learn Sanskrit?"

Swallowing his saliva, Zhao Guangyi declined:

"I can only read the ordinary Buddhist scriptures nowadays, let alone the Sanskrit scriptures?"

The Zhao Song official was thoughtful:
"Since there are outstanding talents besides the emperor, we must not abandon them."

After saying that, he turned to the eunuch who was still a little dazed and instructed:
"Tomorrow I will collect some Sanskrit scriptures and give them to the Master."

Zhao Kuangyin no longer cared about Master Kong Jiong's reaction.

It was indeed unexpected that he, the eleventh-generation grandson of the emperor who founded the Song Dynasty, was so talented and versatile that he could be called the "Crown of the Yuan Dynasty."

Theoretically, the Buddhist master Zhao Xian was also his direct descendant, and was even rumored to be the reincarnation of Emperor Hongwu.

The last rays of the Song Dynasty ended with the death of Wen Tianxiang, but neither the romanticism of the two Song Dynasties nor the romanticism of the Lesser Song Dynasty seemed to have affected the safe flow of the Zhao bloodline to the Ming Dynasty.

But behind the stability of his bloodline, Zhao Kuangyin remembered some other things particularly clearly.

For example, Song Taizu whose body was never found, Song Lizong whose skull was made into an obscene sacrificial vessel, the soldiers and civilians who decided to jump into the sea, and the "converted person" who faced the hurricane alone to seek death.

There was nothing wrong with the descendants of the Zhao family serving the Yuan Dynasty, but Zhao Kuangyin felt very upset that the Emperor Yuan could play with the skulls of their ancestors.

Especially after reading "Qinyuanchun" written by Wang Yanwu, this feeling of frustration began to develop into violent rage.

He knew that Wang Yanwu had spent all his money to fight against the Yuan Dynasty. He was not a doctor or an official, so he had done his best. However, he still felt a little emotional:
"Is this worthy of being called Qinyuanchun?"

"How can this not be called Qinyuanchun?"

When it comes to poetry, Li Yu, who had just escaped from his depression, argued with reason.

Just the sentence "The most hasty day was the day of leaving the temple" was enough for Li Yu to taste his not-so-good and most likely quite miserable ending.

However, because his mentality was no longer the same as before, Li Yu did not dwell on it too much. Instead, he appreciated Qinyuanchun again and again. He felt that although future generations would not like it, the poem could still be considered exquisite in terms of its quality.

"Although there are poems like Qinyuanchun in the early Tang Dynasty, their rhythmic changes are a little lacking in rhyme and can hardly be called extraordinary. Although this person's work is meticulously crafted and full of meaning, its neatness is far superior to the Yuefu poems of our time."

Li Yu's words happened to hit the nail on the head in terms of his professional interests. Zhao Guangyi wanted to say something, but when he remembered what he saw on the screen, he sighed and shut up.

Zhao Kuangyin was still a little annoyed, and snorted coldly when he heard this:

"I'll show you this Qinyuanchun, and then tell me whether this can be considered Qinyuanchun at the moment!"

Not long after, Zhao Kuangyin handed a piece of paper to Li Yu.

Looking down, the first sentence alone captured Li Yu's attention:

"The scenery of the North, thousands of miles of ice, thousands of miles of snow..."

He had never seen the scenery of the north, but the name of the country that the Tang Dynasty in Jiangnan followed, claiming to be the object of future generations, and that prosperous Tang Dynasty undoubtedly conquered the southern desert and established troops in Liaodong, using the strong troops of the north to intimidate all nations. And continuing to read through, its bold and majestic style is like the iron cavalry of the imperial army ruthlessly destroying the inner defense line, until the "extraordinary enchanting" was written, the offensive was temporarily suspended, Li Yu almost couldn't wait to read the next stanza, wanting to see how the tune started in the previous stanza would be restrained, and how the iron cavalry of the imperial army in his mind would withdraw and end the rhyme.

But there is no convergence at all! No rhyme drops!

From the words "The country is so beautiful", the imperial cavalry, which seemed to be withdrawing, seemed to have launched an even more invincible charge, and the pattern of history from the Qin Emperor to Han Wudi almost made him look up, until he read to the end, the sound of iron horses still seemed to linger in Li Yu's ears.

"This..." Li Yu's chest seemed to be filled with endless comments and praises, but they all stopped at his throat, and in the end, only a bitter smile remained on his face:

"This review of Qinyuanchun is beyond my ability."

Having said that, Li Yu also said sincerely:
"If I can finish writing this poem, I can die at night..."

But before he finished speaking, Li Yu shook his head. How could he not see the identity of the poet when he was well versed in poetry? If he was not capable of looking down on the achievements of the Qin Shi Huang, Han Wudi and Tang Taizong, then writing like this would only make people laugh.

So Li Yu immediately became curious:

"Since this person can look down upon the ages, why is he not called Emperor Hongwu?"

Zhao Kuangyin shook his head. He didn't know either. But looking at the densely packed words floating on the screen, he hesitated and said:
"If Congjia is curious, he can wait three months before asking Emperor Hongwu."

"Why not now?"

"Right now, I am afraid that Emperor Hongwu...is in a bad mood."

Although there were some accusations against him in the text, compared with the ones related to Emperor Hongwu, Zhao Kuangyin didn't care at all and even planned to write a few words to persuade him.

〖Jin, Song, Yuan and Qing are the four wonders of China.

In fact, if a few emperors of the Northern Song Dynasty had been in better health, history might have been rewritten. Unfortunately, the health of the emperors of the Northern Song Dynasty was worse than one another.

In addition to the genetic disease theory, there is another theory that it was Zhao Erkai who was superstitious about Taoism, and Song Zhenzong doted on Taoism. As a result, later emperors of the Song Dynasty took elixirs like eating meals. Compared with the drug taking of the Ming Dynasty emperors, the Northern Song Dynasty emperors were really nothing compared to them.

Having said that, even if there was no Zhao Er, I don't think Zhao Da would have been good enough. Haven't you seen the allusions in the long couplet of the Daguan Tower in Kunming, Yunnan? Han practiced tower ships, Tang marked iron pillars, Song wielded jade axes, and Yuan crossed leather bags. Among them, there was one who didn't fit in, but I won't say who it was.

Hey, who doesn't understand after you said that? Han, Tang and Yuan dynasties all talked about the anecdotes left behind by their progressive governance of Yunnan. Han set up the Kunming Lake to train the navy to conquer Dianchi Lake, Tang made nine expeditions to Yunnan and engraved iron pillars to record their merits, and Kublai Khan of the Yuan dynasty crossed the Dadu River in a leather bag to conquer Dali. Only Song Dynasty wielded the jade axe when it said Zhao Da used a jade axe to draw the area west of the Dadu River, "anything beyond that is not mine." It's so infuriating.

Speaking of rumors about illegitimate children, I still remember that there was a rumor in Mongolia that Judy was a descendant of Emperor Shun of Yuan Dynasty. If you put the pieces together... the Song Dynasty has been restored!
To be honest, the unofficial history of ancient times still lacks imagination. Compared with Zhu Yuanzhang's hook literature, it is neither wild enough nor historical enough.

Damn it, I have already deleted all the hook literature from my mind, please stop reminding me of it!

Speaking of couplets, I also remembered a couplet related to the one mentioned by the UP host: guarding the country's borders with your life.

Who doesn't know this? Baozong knocked on the national gate, Chongzhen gave up the country, the civil officials were too cold, and the military generals became vassal kings.
This should not be the couplet that was obviously made up by this netizen, although it is true... This brother should be talking about the couplet written by someone: Maolu Mountain is high, and bandits die for the country; Lingdingyang is vast, and pirates guard the country's borders.

This couplet is indeed a curse, but if I had to say which one makes me feel the most uncomfortable every time I read it, it would be this one: It can be followed but it cannot be followed, it can be hoped for but it cannot be hoped for. It is difficult to rule the country, and success has not yet been achieved.

I remember someone else wrote something similar: It is difficult to be self-sufficient, Xianzhong is not Xianzhong, Liangyu is not Liangyu, Shiying is not Ying; Song Dynasty fell and Ming Dynasty fell, from some perspectives, they are indeed similar. 〗
