Chapter 1637 Raditz: Have you forgotten your mission?
Chapter 1637 Raditz: Have you forgotten your mission?
After all, Goku and Gohan were already adults and had lived peaceful lives for many years, so their bodies must have accumulated a considerable number of S cells.
Such intensity was certainly not something they could withstand—Luther thought to himself with a touch of wicked amusement.
Thus, Raditz was once again thrust into the center of the stage.
A fireball streaked across the sky and crashed into the ground with a deafening roar, raising a cloud of dust.
The flight door slowly opened, and Raditz stepped out, feeling an unfamiliar sensation on the ground beneath his feet.
"Is this Earth?"
He muttered to himself, his finger lightly pressing the detector on his earlobe.
"Let's see how strong the fighting force is here."
The detector screen was rapidly displaying numerical and distance information. Raditz's pupils suddenly contracted, and his face was filled with disbelief.
"One thousand? Is this Kakarot?"
He murmured, but then dismissed his guess.
"Wait... there are so many high-energy reactions, could they all be from Earth?"
The readings before him left him bewildered.
What exactly are the intelligence agencies doing?
He clearly said that Earth was an inferior planet with generally low combat power, which is why he exiled his useless younger brother here.
But now, the probe is displaying a dense array of four-digit combat power readings. How could this be some low-level planet?
"Could Kakarot be dead?"
Raditz couldn't help but worry.
Of course, this concern has nothing to do with family affection—Saiyans almost never know what family affection is, and only a very small number of individuals will have similar feelings.
Raditz's purpose in coming here was simply to find Kakarot to help deal with the planet that was invading, as he urgently needed manpower.
More importantly, he had had enough of Vegeta and Nappa's bossy attitude and arbitrary beatings, and desperately needed to find a companion to share the pressure.
"This is a big problem,"
Raditz gritted his teeth.
"We can only search them one by one."
He wasn't sure if Kakarot was still alive, but he was unwilling to give up on returning.
After careful consideration, he decided to take the most cautious approach: to start by investigating the World Government headquarters—where the most high-level combatants were concentrated.
Raditz's own combat power is only 1,500 points. If he is surrounded, he will surely die.
He must be extremely careful.
However, he soon realized that he had underestimated the planet.
Under Luther's influence and transformation, the Earth is no longer what it used to be.
The World Government has gathered the world's top martial artists, and its military has trained a large number of powerful individuals.
The ability to sense aura, a skill unheard of to aliens like Saiyans, is possessed by almost everyone here.
While Raditz was still relying on detectors to find life, Earth warriors had already locked onto this uninvited guest through aura perception.
Even more terrifying is that Earthlings have mastered the technique of concealing their presence, enough to completely disable combat power detectors.
"who!"
A sharp shout shattered the silence, and several figures approached Raditz at an astonishing speed.
The government forces' response far exceeded his expectations—he had clearly done everything he could to operate covertly.
These government troops who came to intercept him were the highest-ranking combatants known as "Generals," each with a combat strength exceeding four digits, enough to pose a deadly threat to Raditz.
Raditz instinctively assumed a fighting stance, his detector rapidly scanning the approaching enemies: 1200, 1300, 1100... a total of five powerful individuals with combat strength exceeding 1000!
This discovery sent chills down his spine.
How could a low-level planet possibly have so many experts?
"Invaders, surrender immediately!" the leading general shouted in a deep voice, his tone carrying an unquestionable authority.
Raditz's brain was working at lightning speed.
A direct confrontation would be unwise, but the Saiyan's pride prevented him from easily backing down.
So Raditz chose to run away!
He turned and ran, and the five generals chased him for a distance before the leader suddenly raised his hand to signal them to stop.
"Be careful, it might be a trap; it could be a feint."
He said solemnly.
"Strengthen headquarters defenses and dispatch reconnaissance teams to track his energy trail."
Raditz escaped successfully, but felt more frustrated than ever before.
He landed in an unfamiliar forest and punched a giant tree beside him, snapping the trunk in two.
"I am a Saiyan! The strongest warrior race in the universe!"
He growled, a sense of shame gnawing at his heart like a venomous snake, "This mere Earth has made me so pathetic!"
Once he gets back and finds Vegeta and Nappa, they'll definitely work together to completely destroy this wretched planet! They'll make these arrogant Earthlings pay the price!
However, after calming down, Raditz decided to continue his search for Kakarot. If he returned empty-handed, Vegeta and Nappa would not only mock him, but might even attack him.
He needed to get something out of it, even if it was just confirming whether Kakarot was alive or dead.
After adjusting the detector mode, Raditz began scanning targets with combat power exceeding 100 but not excessively high.
He quickly identified two relatively strong energy sources, both exceeding 400 points, located 33 kilometers south of him.
"How could such a remote area have creatures with such combat power?"
Raditz frowned, but still decided to go and find out.
In a clearing deep in Baozi Mountain, he saw three people: a black-haired youth was instructing a little boy in martial arts, and a young man who looked like a college student was sitting next to him.
Surprisingly, the college student's combat power exceeded 400, while the energy reactions of the young man and the boy, though lower, were still far superior to those of ordinary Earthlings.
When Raditz's gaze fell on the face of the dark-haired youth, he was instantly stunned.
That face was almost exactly the same as the father he remembered.
"Kakarot?"
Raditz couldn't help but cry out.
Sun Wukong raised his head and looked at the strange man who had suddenly appeared with a puzzled expression.
Son Gohan and Son Goten also stood warily beside Son Goku.
"you are?"
Sun Wukong asked, his eyes filled with curiosity rather than hostility.
Raditz carefully examined the three of them, his gaze finally settling on the two young men.
"Kakarot, I never thought you actually survived on Earth and even had a child."
His tone was complex and difficult to decipher, containing both surprise and reproach.
Sun Wukong and Sun Gohan exchanged a glance.
They already knew about the Saiyans and Raditz from Mr. Luther, but they didn't expect them to appear at this time.
Have you forgotten your mission?
Raditz demanded, his voice rising, "Why is Earth still intact?"
Sun Wukong calmly looked back at the other person, his eyes clear and firm: "I don't know what mission you're talking about. I am Sun Wukong of Earth, a warrior who protects this planet."
