Chapter 14 Interview
This morning, He Hua and his roommate had just finished packing and were going to the cafeteria for breakfast.

He Hua's phone came to mind, and He Hua picked it up to see that it was Editor-in-Chief Han's phone, and immediately connected:
"Mr. Han, good morning, what can I do on the phone early in the morning?"

"He Hua, listen to me first, there are rumors on the Internet that you plagiarized"

"Ah, plagiarism? What do you mean? Someone wrote the same book as me?" He Hua interrupted Han Zhongliang before he finished speaking. He was a little confused now. There should be no original novels for the TV series. Who did he copy?

When the three roommates heard this, they quickly stopped and looked at He Hua.

Plagiarism, this word has too much influence on writers.

"No, you listen to me first, now it's just that some thoughtful people put Ni and Guo Jingming together, saying that you are not from BJ, but the background of the novel is set in BJ, which is very strange."

"But it doesn't matter. We have read your book. BJ is just a landmark setting, and the content has nothing to do with it. But now the trouble is that some media report this matter, and they will mislead book fans, so we still have to respond as soon as possible."

Han Zhongliang didn't panic at all, and his thinking was clear. This report has advantages and disadvantages, but as long as it is explained clearly, the negative impact can be minimized and a large amount of publicity costs can be saved.

He Hua was relieved after hearing this, and simply agreed: "Okay, no problem, how should we respond?"

"I'm here to contact Sohu Video, NetEase Entertainment and Sina News, and gather together to interview you." Han Zhongliang has already thought of a countermeasure.

He Hua hesitated when he heard that there was going to be an interview. He really didn't want to appear in front of people too much, but this matter really can't be left like this:
"That's all right, you can contact me, and when you are sure, let me know, and I will also notify you on the blog."

"Okay, that's it. Remember to bring the manuscript with you." After speaking, Han Zhongliang quickly hung up the phone.

Gao Jian and the others looked at him worriedly, and Liu Zhonglun spoke first:
"Hua Zi, are you okay, what plagiarism? Someone sued you for plagiarism?"

He Hua waved his hand and quickly explained: "No, some netizens questioned it, and then there were media reports. I turned on the computer to take a look." He turned on the computer while talking.

Liu Zhonglun also hurriedly turned on his computer.

The four carefully read the reports of several major news websites, and Gao Jian heaved a sigh of relief:
"It's okay. This kind of news is eye-catching. It didn't say anything, and it didn't say who copied it or which book it copied. It's all based on speculation. Huazi, don't worry."

"That's right, this reporter just made a few reports without fart, don't worry about him, it's fine, let's walk around and eat."

Guo Changlin thought about it carefully:

"You still have to respond as soon as possible. The most important thing for a writer is the work, and you can't let these news affect the reputation of your work." His family belongs to the Writers Association, and he attaches great importance to this kind of thing.

"Well, I will respond. Teacher Han helped me contact the media, and then I will do an interview to clarify. It's okay, I'm fine, let's go for a walk, eat, and there will be classes later."

He Hua braced himself up, this small wind and wave could not defeat him.

Although he said he was fine, today, He Hua often felt students pointing at him from a distance. I don't know if it was a psychological effect or it was real, which made him not able to concentrate all day.

Fortunately, Han Zhongliang called him in the afternoon to inform him that he would be interviewed at [-] pm the day after tomorrow.

In the evening, He Hua posted the news on his blog:

Recently, some netizens questioned my plagiarism, saying that as a native of Shanxi, the background of my novel "The Sky of the Wind Dog" is in BJ, which is unreasonable.

So I will be interviewed by Sohu Video, Netease Entertainment and Sina News at [-]:[-] pm the day after tomorrow, and I will prove my innocence at that time.

The time for the interview soon came.

He Hua took the manuscript temporarily taken from Mr. Ma, and walked into the interview booth with three roommates.

He Hua originally thought they were going to interview together, but he didn't expect to come one by one in order.

Before the interview, the makeup artist asked He Hua if he wanted to make up, but He Hua declined.

He can't accept this. Since he was a child, he used some Dabao SOD honey to prevent freezing.

Sohu's host is called Dapeng. The two got to know each other for a while and didn't say anything more.

He Hua is not a familiar character, and he is not in a good mood. After all, he is innocent, so he doesn't want to talk much.

Dapeng didn't care either: Talented literati are quite individual.

Soon the interview began. He Hua and Dapeng each sat on a small sofa facing the camera. A laptop was placed on the table in the middle, allowing the host to watch netizens speak at any time.

The two chatted casually first, and quickly turned the question to plagiarism:

"Before you wrote this novel, you only had a freshman year experience in BJ, and as far as I know, the Department of Chinese Opera and Literature is the ace major of Chinese opera, and the freshman curriculum is very tight. How did you find time to understand BJ?"

Soul questioning begins.

"I didn't get to know BJ. I was basically in school in my freshman year." He Hua said honestly.

"Then your work?"

"First of all, BJ only appears as a landmark symbol in my works, and I have not introduced BJ culture into my works."

"I'm filling this novel more with my own life. For example, Tu Jun and Ma Tian chased to the last bridge. That bridge is the bridge in my hometown, built on the Fen River passing through our county."

"Then why don't you put the background of the novel in your hometown?" Dapeng continued to ask.

"Because it is unrealistic, high schools in small counties either drop out of school early to work or go to vocational high schools, or study hard for their own future. Many plots in novels will conflict with that."

Dapeng believed in He Hua a little bit.

"I heard that you brought the manuscript of your own novel? Why didn't you use a computer to write it?"

Now it seems that only the older generation of literati still insist on handwriting.

"I wrote it at home during the summer vacation. I don't have a computer at home. That's it."

He Hua handed the manuscript of his novel to Dapeng.

"Okay, let's take a look," Dapeng said while flipping through the pages carefully, and soon he beckoned the cameraman to come up and shoot.

Dapeng slowly turned the page to let the cameraman take a clear picture, while explaining:
"We can see that He Hua's handwriting is very good, and there are many revisions next to it. Some parts here have been deleted. He Hua, is this someone helping you to change it?"

He Hua nodded slightly: "After I finished writing, I showed it to my roommates, and they would give me some comments, so I deleted and revised the manuscript, and my teacher also reviewed it for me before, and he also gave me a lot of suggestions for revision."

Seeing Dapeng nodding, He Hua continued:
"My roommate is from BJ. I used to call him and ask him some questions when I was writing novels. He gave me the name of the high school in the novel. He also came to the scene today."

Dapeng understood what He Hua meant, and quickly invited Guo Changlin to the stage, asked some simple questions and then invited him down.

In fact, it is already obvious whether plagiarism is plagiarized or not.
