Today is a day off, and I originally planned to catch up on some sleep during the day and write at night.

But the company sent us a notice about a dinner party tonight. I had not planned to go, but other colleagues all “received it” and no one asked for leave.

I had no choice but to go, otherwise I would seem a bit out of place. I don’t know where my leader learned this bad habit and started organizing team building activities during holidays.
