My Healing Games

Chapter 84 Hitomiya

Chapter 84 Hitomiya
The chill emanating from the ring washed over him like a tidal wave. After hiding in room 1084, Han Fei immediately closed the door.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

"The sound first came from the ninth floor; that ghost lives on the ninth floor!"

With his back to the door, Han Fei was in a very dangerous situation.

The eighth floor is different from the sixth floor; these rooms contain something particularly terrifying.

The ghost in the house could appear at any moment, and the monster was blocking the door. Han Fei's heart began to beat faster and faster uncontrollably.

"If all else fails, I'll have to log off."

Feeling the icy chill emanating from his fingers, Han Fei slowly crouched down and cautiously examined room 1084.

The house had been renovated and was furnished with some high-end furniture. One bedroom had an expensive piano, and the other bedroom was decorated as a princess room, with pink as the main color and many cute dolls on the bed and floor.

These things don't seem scary at first glance, but Han Fei doesn't know why, but he feels very uncomfortable all over his body.

"I heard Meng Shi say that the building manager once told her not to go to the eighth floor casually."

After waiting for a long time, the chill on Han Fei's fingers gradually dissipated. He adjusted his breathing and slowly moved closer to the cat's eye.

Leaning against the security door, Han Fei looked out and saw that the peephole of room 1084 seemed to be blocked by something, with some red and black impurities.

He slowly adjusted the angle and looked carefully, but the impurities in the cat's eyes blocked his view.

"Who smeared blood on the cat's eye?" Han Fei was pondering when the red impurity suddenly flipped over, revealing its other side, just like a ping-pong ball that had been submerged in water.

A jet-black pupil was fixed in the cat's eye, and one of the bloodshot eyes blinked gently.

"There's an eye in the cat's eye?!"

Han Fei immediately stepped back, unable to believe that he had actually made eye contact with that eyeball at such close range.

"I waited until the coolness on the ring dissipated before I went to look at it. By then, the ghost living on the ninth floor had already left, so the eyeball in the cat's eye wasn't his."

Han Fei felt he couldn't stay there any longer; the extremely uncomfortable feeling was growing stronger.

He reached out and grabbed the door lock, trying to open the door with force, only to find that the security door wouldn't budge!
"It's not locked, so why can't I open it?"

A wave of immense fear washed over Han Fei; he knew he was being watched.

"If this door can't be opened, even if I log out of the game now, I'll still log back in from this room next time. Without the option of logging out, I might be in an even more passive position."

Gritting his teeth, Han Fei was not one to give up easily; otherwise, he wouldn't have survived until now.

Looking into that terrifying cat's eye, Han Fei did something that no ordinary person would ever do.

He pressed himself against the door again, peering through the peephole.

To defeat his opponent, he needed to understand him first. He was determined to find out what kind of ghost was hiding in room 1084 on the eighth floor.

Even though he knew there was an eyeball in the cat's eye, Han Fei still leaned closer to look, hoping to find the answer in that eyeball.

Han Fei had already prepared to meet the other person's gaze, but when he went over again, the eyeball was gone.

"The door still can't be opened, but the eyes are gone."

Without making any rash moves, Han Fei stood at the door and used his exceptional memory to memorize the location of all the furniture and items in the room.

"I didn't see any portraits, talismans, or altars. There was no blood or anything obviously abnormal in the room. If I had to point out something strange, it would be that there were a lot of rag dolls in the room."

Some of the rag dolls were placed on the bed, some were casually thrown on the floor, and some had been torn, revealing the yellowish stuffing inside.

"Could ghosts possess rag dolls?"

Han Fei didn't dislike dolls, but in this situation, he was terrified of all humanoid things.

"Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock..."

In the dead silence, the sound of dripping water suddenly came. Han Fei looked in the direction of the sound and found that the bathroom faucet was dripping.

"When I came in, the faucet was working fine."

He slowly moved to the bathroom door, glancing at the mirror and the corner of the shower before going in, as these were the easiest places for ghosts to hide.

"Is the faucet not turned off properly?" Han Fei turned the switch and found that the faucet wasn't just not turned off properly, it was completely open: "The faucet is clearly open, so why isn't any water coming out? Is something blocking it?"

As he bent down, he saw a bloodshot eyeball slide out of the tap and be flushed directly into the sewer.

Everything happened so fast that Han Fei hadn't even had time to react.

"Is an eyeball blocking the water pipe?"

He was very close to the faucet just now, and when that eyeball slid down, it seemed that the pupil moved slightly, as if it had glanced at him.

What's going on with this house?

Han Fei now finally understood why he felt so uncomfortable; it felt as if there were eyes staring at him.

Goosebumps rose on the back of Han Fei's neck. He was panicking, but he didn't show any fear on the surface because he knew that being afraid wouldn't change anything.

Slowly leaving the bathroom, a place with heavy yin energy, Han Fei walked to the coffee table in the living room and picked up the fruit knife on the table.

"The system can identify special items I touch. When that eyeball appears again, I'll see if I can find a way to touch it."

Han Fei was also forced into a corner, which is why he came up with such a risky method.

The door couldn't be opened, and since there was no way to escape, the only option was to look for clues inside the house.

After briefly inspecting the living room, Han Fei walked to the bedroom door.

He looked at the princess room filled with dolls and didn't have the courage to go in. He was afraid that the dolls would suddenly come to life and pounce on him.

Avoiding the princess room, Han Fei walked to the door of another bedroom.

This bedroom is filled with many things, including a piano, bookshelves, a single bed, and various paintings hanging on the walls.

"Something's not right."

Han Fei's gaze swept across the room, and he noticed a pillow under the single bed in the bedroom, as if someone often hid under the bed.

Gripping the fruit knife tightly, Han Fei entered the bedroom. He bent down to retrieve the pillow from under the bed and suddenly noticed many fingernail marks along the edge of the bed frame.

He followed the marks and slowly peered under the bed, only to discover that the bed frame was covered with the same sentence written all over it—It's watching me!
