In order to learn the scriptures, the four great Bodhisattvas in Lingshan died and were injured, and now the only one who is still intact is Manjushri Bodhisattva.

"Manjushri, it seems that this important task belongs to you. I promise you that after the journey to the west is over, I will report it to the saint immediately and promote you to Manjushri Buddha!"

In the past, Tathagata's promise would still excite the people of Lingshan, but with the current situation of Journey to the West, it's still unclear whether they can survive until the end of the calamity.

Tathagata's words are just a blank check!
Manjushri Bodhisattva hurriedly spoke: "World Honored One, Manjushri is not very talented and has little knowledge. He is unable to take on this great responsibility. Please find someone else, World Honored One!"

The Tathagata looked at Manjushri Bodhisattva with dissatisfaction: "Manjushri, as one of the four great Bodhisattvas of Buddhism, the more times like this, the more you must reflect the value of your Bodhisattva!"

“How can Lingshan develop and society progress if everyone is afraid of taking responsibility and refuses to work?”

Now this is the only one of the four great Bodhisattvas left in Lingshan.

There is nothing the Tathagata can do.

You can't do it yourself, right?

Seeing that Tathagata refused to give in and insisted on throwing this hot potato into his hands, Manjushri gritted his teeth and knelt directly in the main hall.

"Manjusri begs the Lord to take back his life!"

"If the World-Honored One thinks that this is a Bodhisattva's duty, then... Manjushri is willing to give up his position as a Bodhisattva, and I beg the World-Honored One to choose someone else to be a Bodhisattva!"
