Chapter 1437 The Establishment of the War Immortal Civilization

While we are all saddened, we cannot remain immersed in sadness forever.

After the initial grief subsided, people realized that since the pioneers had perished, why leave behind such large tombs?

With so many resources to build such a huge tomb, wouldn't it be better to use it to continue researching the vacuum zero point? After all, there won't be any cosmic catastrophes chasing after us at that time, and we'll have plenty of time. Maybe if we continue our research, we'll succeed?
Did the pioneers spend too much time researching and realize that they couldn't make a breakthrough by continuing, so they used their remaining resources to build a grave for themselves?
That doesn't make much sense. If they're already extinct, why build such a huge tomb? For later civilizations? Or to prove they once existed in this universe?

It's so strange that the pioneers would make this choice.

All civilizations felt that there was something strange about the pioneers' tombs. After all, when a civilization has reached this point, survival must be a higher priority than building tombs, unless the pioneers have completely lost their drive to move forward. But they have persisted for hundreds of millions of years, how could they have lost their ambition at the point of the Great Voyage?

It doesn't make sense, it's totally inexplicable.

With doubts in their hearts, the probes of various civilizations continued to approach the giant rhomboid crystal. Throughout this process, the Star Guardian remained motionless, lost in thought.

No one rushed to disturb him until the various civilizations that came closer to observe him discovered a line of smaller characters next to "Tomb of the Pioneers," which finally awakened the guardian of the stars who had been silent for countless years.

Beside the "Tomb of the Pioneers," there was a string of words that was clearly a signature: "Established by the War Immortal Civilization! Time: 12.86577 million zero years from the timeline of the Big Bang."

The Civilization of Immortals?!
The War Immortal Civilization!!!

Right, how could we forget about the War Immortal Civilization?

In a daze, everyone seemed to remember that after the pioneers embarked on their voyage, there was more than just them; there was also the War Immortal Civilization Group.

It was the civilization that the pioneers encountered in the Andromeda Galaxy. After their meeting and a series of interactions, they came together.

Together, the two formed the Pioneer War Immortal Civilization Great Voyage Group. Later, on their journey, they encountered the Stargazer Civilization, whose old partners were the Stargazer Civilization's Star Defenders.

They formed a larger fleet and continued their journey. Later, when they reached the Midway Galaxy, the Stargazer civilization perished, while the War Immortal civilization and a small fleet of Pioneers survived and continued their advance.

It now appears that both the War Immortal Civilization and the Pioneers have successfully reached the end of the Great Voyage. Moreover, since this tomb was erected by the War Immortal Civilization, doesn't that mean that the War Immortal Civilization still existed when the Pioneers perished? Otherwise, they wouldn't have erected a monument for those who went before them.

The fact that the War Immortal Civilization was able to erect such a large monument and build such a large tomb suggests that the War Immortal Civilization had succeeded!
Yes, how could a pioneer of a Level 6 civilization possibly have the time, energy, and resources to build such a large tomb for himself?

If all of this was done by the upgraded War Immortal Civilization, then it makes much more sense.

But the same question remains: since the War Immortal Civilization succeeded, why didn't they go back to pick up the Star Guardians? Most importantly, weren't the War Immortal Civilization and the Pioneers together? How come one perished while the other succeeded?

Before everyone could finish their questioning, the Star Guardian scurried up to the rhombus-shaped crystal, swerving up, down, left, and right, before starting to fly around it, talking as he went. "What the hell? The War Immortal Civilization?! You actually succeeded? You've forgotten all about me now that you've succeeded? This is infuriating! Don't you even remember that if it weren't for my old buddy, would you have escaped?"

The Star Guardian was a little angry, but as time went on, he became less talkative, because he saw the "inscription" on the Pioneer's tombstone.

The various civilizations also noticed the anomaly of the Star Guardians and sent out their probe ships to observe the rhomboid crystals and see what was written on them.

It's amazing that this huge tombstone doesn't store information using technological means, but instead uses a primitive method of engraving to carve the text onto a rhombus-shaped crystal. I wonder what the War Immortal civilization was thinking.

Fortunately, these questions don't need to be asked, because after scanning closely, it was discovered that the rhomboid crystals all had markings on them.

Of course, the civilizations later discovered that all the texts they saw were not actually engraved on the rhombus crystals, but were engraved inside the crystals through some means, and then the light from the crystal surface was refracted to display the texts on the surface of the rhombus crystals.

The words "Tomb of the Pioneers" are also displayed on each of the rhombus faces, and are so large that they can be seen from a distance.

As the detector scanned, other texts on the rhombus-shaped crystal were also revealed to the higher-ups of various civilizations.

[My companions, my close partners on the Great Voyage, are the pioneering civilization, composed of two races, born in: the Laniakea Supercluster, the Virgo Supercluster, the Andromeda Galaxy Group, and the Milky Way. Their specific cosmic locations are as follows.]

Below this passage is a star map, with bright spots representing the positions and structures of galaxies. The galaxy in the center is the Milky Way.

Star charts are dynamic because human civilization has discovered that the relative positions of galaxies shown on star charts are not much different from the spatial relationships when one leaves the Milky Way.

It is absolutely impossible for it to be a star map from a billion years ago.

It seems that the War Immortal Civilization took the time factor into account when making the tombstones.

[It was born 98 billion years after the Big Bang and perished at the time of the Pioneer Civilization Memorial XXXX, which is 128 billion years after the Big Bang, a civilization spanning 30 billion years. This monument is dedicated to our great partner: the Pioneer Civilization!]

The original name of the Pioneer Civilization is lost to history. All we know is that after they left the Milky Way, they were given the name Pioneers. This was the title given to them by the lower-level civilizations that remained in the Milky Way after they embarked on their great voyage, and also by the civilizations that followed them on their journey. Our War Immortal Civilization also recognizes the Pioneers.

Because they are indeed pioneers of the Great Voyage in our time, at least in our local star cluster, they are absolute pioneers. It was under their influence that our War Immortal Civilization made the decision to embark on the Great Voyage.

Although they failed, their spirit will live on forever. Our War Immortal Civilization will never forget their contributions; without them, there would be no successful War Immortal Civilization.

The pioneering civilization's progress will forever remain at the Level 6 civilization level, but in our eyes, they will always be our good partners, pioneers exploring the unknown universe, and courageous and fearless forerunners.
