Chapter 1544 The Rebellious Boy

Chapter 1544 The Rebellious Boy

They knew perfectly well that mastering infinite secrets was the mark of a god-level civilization, but they had no clue what exactly this infiniteness was.

Before infinity lies the limit.

Human-made string-based computers are approaching the limit of infinite computing power.

From the perspective of string-based computers alone, the other three civilizations are already far behind human civilization, because they have not yet mastered any kind of cutting-edge technology or creation in any particular area.

Moreover, the so-called mastery of some kind of infinity may not be as simple as looking towards some kind of infinity and developing in that direction. Just like advancing to a cosmic-level civilization, mastering the zero-point energy of the vacuum is only a sign of becoming a cosmic-level civilization. In reality, becoming a cosmic-level civilization also requires advancements in technology in various aspects.

Technological development often progresses in tandem, and even when differences exist, they are rarely too significant. However, the factors influencing technological development are numerous, ranging from the intelligence of a particular race to various social factors, organizational structures, and other humanistic influences.

Therefore, the Silver Heart, the Daya, and the Awakeners know that they are behind humanity in terms of the secrets of the Infinite Vault, but they are not in a hurry because they all know what their respective civilizations should do at this stage.

They should take advantage of this hard-won time to develop all branches of their own cosmic-level civilization's technology tree and push their civilization to the pinnacle of cosmic-level civilization. This is what the four civilizations should be doing at this stage.

Humanity has moved faster, but this aspect still needs to be addressed and is of paramount importance.

So in the days that followed, the four civilizations explored and developed their technologies within the Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall.

Perhaps after exploring several galaxies without discovering any ordinary stargates, they decided to build some stargates for the galaxies they would pass through in the future.

Although it is highly unlikely that I will return through the stargate, building a stargate is not only for travel, but also to facilitate the long-distance voyages of the local level 6 civilization, and at the same time improve my own stargate construction technology.

However, to the surprise of the four civilizations of the Great Voyage Organization, before this plan could be put into action, a stargate was discovered near the central black hole of the next galaxy.

The existence of stargates implies the existence of a cosmic-level civilization, because they are the ones who built the stargates.

This time, the Great Voyage Organization did not rush in recklessly. Instead, the Galactic Heart Civilization first dispatched some of its detection forces to explore and see if they could find the owner of the stargate, that is, the unknown cosmic-level civilization behind it, communicate with them, and then openly use their stargate.

The super stargates of the Dayan civilization are all stargates with very large distance spans. According to the stargates marked on the current star map, the Dayan civilization built three stargates within the Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall, located at the beginning, end and middle of the interstellar Great Wall respectively.

The star map also marks the directions of passage for the three super stargates. In addition to being able to travel between them, they are also fast passages to leave the Hercules Great Wall directly.

In fact, if the Great Voyage Organization were willing, it could follow the star map and use the super stargate left by the Dayan civilization to directly cross tens or even hundreds of billions of light-years and leave this place.

However, the Great Voyage Organization does not intend to move that fast.

Besides wanting to explore since they were new to the area, another reason was a statement made by the Star Guardian: he said that there was something left behind by the Great Evolution Civilization at the Hercules Corona Borealis Great Wall, and he hoped that the four civilizations would find it and possess it.

All indications suggest that this message from the Starry Sky Defenders is almost certainly the work of the Dayan Civilization, so following the Starry Sky Defenders' advice is essentially the same as following the Dayan Civilization's arrangements.

Frankly, this feeling of being arranged for was unpleasant, but the Dayan Civilization had actually shown goodwill to the four civilizations of the Great Voyage Organization. Anyone with eyes could see that the arrival and departure of the Rebooters definitely bore traces of the Dayan Civilization. Furthermore, the four civilizations ultimately couldn't resist wanting to see what exactly the Dayan Civilization had left behind.

Even the Star Defenders couldn't explain it, and the leadership of all four civilizations had a feeling that they were jumping into some kind of trap.

What the leaders of the four civilizations didn't know was that the Star Guardian was also very agitated during this time. Ever since he learned that he might be a pawn arranged by the Dayan Civilization, he had been very uneasy.

He also felt uncomfortable and disliked this feeling, so after discovering that his database had opened another password door and revealed the data inside, just like before, he did not choose to tell the four civilizations everything he knew.

It wasn't that he didn't care about the four civilizations; on the contrary, he stood firmly on their side from the bottom of his heart. The reason for this was actually intentional on the part of the Star Guardian. He felt that telling the four civilizations everything was tantamount to obeying the arrangements of the Dayan Civilization. If the information that human civilization told him was true, and the Dayan Civilization was indeed transmitting various information through him, then...

The Star Guardians have a somewhat treacherous connotation.

Judging from the current situation, unless the Dayan civilization comes out to explain itself, the misunderstanding will continue to exist.

However, the Dayan civilization seemed unconcerned. After speaking with the Restarters, they disappeared and never reappeared. They offered no explanation to the Star Guardians, nor did they say a word to humanity, Daya, the Silver Heart, or the Awakeners.

Time just passed by little by little.

While the four civilizations of the Great Voyage Organization halted their operations, the Galactic Center Civilization was actively searching for a civilization that could build a stargate.

Thus, approximately three hundred years passed.

The Galactic Heart Civilization has been traveling east and west through stargates for three hundred years, traversing dozens of star systems, but still has not discovered any trace of the civilization behind the stargates. What's even more amazing is that the civilization behind them has not appeared on its own initiative, as if the stargates were not theirs, remaining silent and unnoticed.

This led all four civilizations to believe that these stargates had been abandoned.

Of course, some people speculate that this is because that civilization has already left.
They believe that the cosmic civilization that built the stargates may have been like the four civilizations of the Great Voyage Organization today, simply passing by the Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall and incidentally building a bunch of stargates during their voyage and exploration.

During this period, the Great Voyage Organization did not discover the cosmic-level civilization it was looking for, but it did see quite a few Level VI civilizations. What's even more amazing is that these Level VI civilizations not only knew about the existence of stargates in so many galaxies, but also regarded them as interstellar travel channels across galaxies.

After discovering this phenomenon, the Galactic Heart Civilization followed one of the fleets that crossed the stargate to another galaxy. During this time, they also secretly stole information from that Level 6 civilization using their unique technology.

They then discovered that the Type VI civilization possessed a stargate map covering a vast area, spanning approximately one billion light-years.

A billion light-years! That's equivalent to having a stargate in every galaxy along the Great Voyage of the Great Voyage Organization back then.

This strange phenomenon immediately attracted the attention of the four major civilizations of the Great Voyage Organization. After some investigation, they discovered that the stargates within a range of one billion light-years all belonged to this Level 6 civilization.

"Tsk, an interstellar empire whose territory spans a billion light-years?"
