Chapter 1563 The Rebooter's Advance

Chapter 1563 The Rebooter's Advance

The Rebooters' improved plan is real because their improved plan is neither the original reboot plan nor can it be a reboot plan.

The reason is that once the restart plan is brought up, the Returners will know what's going on immediately. Therefore, the Restarters not only changed the name of the plan, but also changed the content, methods, and expected effects of the plan.

They originally intended to conduct their experiments recklessly, like the Returners, creating a reboot experiment spanning billions of light-years to see if they had made any mistakes and where those mistakes lay.

But after seeing that the Returners had created a hole in the universe, they became much more restrained. At least for now, what they were doing was not a scaled-down version of the Zero experiment.

Just as they had told the Void Returners before, if they really wanted to do it, they would have to go to other universes to do it.

For example, the Dayan civilization is exploring another universe that integrates the collision of the great universes, or when they have the ability, they may go to the dimensional universe created by the Guixu people to conduct experiments.

The Rebooters were quite sensible on this point. Relatively speaking, they were a little more rational than the Ruins Returners; at least they didn't want to continue destroying the universe without being certain of success.

So their semi-deceptive descent into letting the Returning Ones return to the Void to stabilize the universe's "foundation" actually had another purpose. They also wanted to bind their own "base" to the universe, just like the Returning Ones, but they had never had the opportunity before.

Now, taking advantage of the fact that the Void Returners are in trouble, I can get them to help stabilize the universe, and then secretly begin my own plan. By the time the Void Returners or other god-level civilizations arrive, it will be too late, because by then I will have already succeeded.

The rebooters have a well-thought-out plan, and things are proceeding according to their scheme.

Using the safety of the universe as a pretext, the Returning Void Beings were persuaded.

And so, the plan began.

The Returner returned to the Ruins, and the Restarter entered another state in the next moment.

"Rebooter, you may begin."

The Returners were ready; they were like assistants holding a ladder for the Rebooters, calling out to the Rebooters who were already working on the ladder.

The precarious state of the universe prompted the two god-level civilizations to cooperate for the second time, following their previous collaboration in attacking the god-level civilization that had severed the microscopic infinity.

The Rebooters have now disappeared from the view of the universe. They have entered their own multidimensional hybrid state. Just before starting their work, to reassure the Returners, they didn't forget to reply, "Don't worry, Returners, we are really here to solve the instability of the cosmic edifice."

Sensing that the Returning Void faction still harbored doubts about their hidden anchor points scattered throughout the cosmic membrane, the Rebooters quickly exchanged information before issuing a formal response: "Alright, you're still not entirely at ease. In that case, we'll be frank. The hidden anchor points we placed on the cosmic membrane are indeed part of the Reboot Universe's deployment. We originally intended to use them to pull the entire universe towards zero dimensions when the Reboot Universe Project began."

"By using the power to pull back the dimensions of the universe, after pulling the entire universe to zero dimensions, we continue to push forward, pushing the universe to the other side, giving birth to a new eleven-dimensional universe, and then, under the mechanism of the universe itself, new macroscopic and microscopic dimensions will re-evolve."

"However, after the Dayan Civilization told us that our internal force was insufficient, we have been calculating this for many years. Coupled with your failure this time, we believe that it is indeed difficult to restart the entire universe. Since we cannot restart the entire universe, we naturally have to improve our restart plan, just like you are now. I suppose you are already thinking about how to modify your Return to the Void plan!"

It must be said that honesty can sometimes be fatal. However, the Returning to the Void refused to admit defeat, stubbornly insisting, "We didn't fail, we just didn't succeed."

“That’s not the point,” the Rebooter continued. “The point is the change in our plan. We’ve flipped the hidden anchor point of the cosmic membrane that we used to pull the universe ‘inward’ to zero, and now we’re pulling it ‘outward’ instead. As you know, this is different from the other way around. Pulling the cosmic membrane in this way won’t tear the universe apart, because not only is that impossible, but even if it were possible, we couldn’t do it.”

"What we need to do is stabilize the cosmic edifice with dimensional ropes, just like you stabilized the foundation of the universe with the Void. Okay, if you don't believe me, you can monitor us throughout the process. If you find us pulling the universe inward, you can come out and stop us at any time. But we want to remind you that our actions are beneficial to all civilizations, including the universe itself."

The Void Returner was silent for a moment, then said, "We trust you, but to be on the safe side, we would like you to tell us all the hidden anchor points you have placed on the cosmic membrane."

“No problem!” The Restarter answered readily and immediately transmitted the anchor point information to the Returner.

The Returners were taken aback, because they thought their request was too much and that the Restarter wouldn't agree. But to their surprise, the Restarter answered so readily.

The Returning to the Void felt that since they had gone this far, the Rebooters probably wouldn't actually conduct a reboot experiment.

In fact, the judgment of the Returning Void was correct. The Rebooters were not conducting reboot experiments under their noses, but were doing something that was unexpected and something they had never thought was possible.

Those who returned to the void, limited by their cognitive abilities, made incorrect judgments after seeing all the correct phenomena.

It's like the story of the scientist and the flea.

The story goes that a scientist trained a flea to jump every time he rang a bell. Later, the scientist anesthetized one of the fleas' legs under a microscope, and when he rang the bell again, the flea still jumped.

Next, the scientists anesthetized the flea's other leg, rang the bell again, and the flea continued to jump. They continued to anesthetize each leg one by one.

Finally, the flea had only one leg left that wasn't anesthetized. Before that, the flea would jump every time its leg was anesthetized and the bell was rung.

When the scientist anesthetized the last leg and rang the bell, he was surprised to find that the flea stopped jumping.

Therefore, based on solid scientific data, the scientist solemnly announced his conclusion: fleas hear the bell through their legs!

The Returners are now like this scientist, but not entirely, because they made the correct judgment: the Rebooters did not conduct reboot experiments anymore, but they did not know what would happen if the Rebooters did this.

The Returners discovered that the spacetime anchors hidden on the cosmic membrane had indeed been flipped over by the Rebooters, and the Rebooters are now beginning to "weld" these anchors one by one.

This process involved the Rebooters using their multidimensional chimeras as "ropes" to connect to the cosmic membrane. Because they were already prepared, they completed this task quickly.
