Lin Jinyun and his servant returned to the house and hurried to the side courtyard.

In the shade of the yard, four sturdy but unkempt men were leaning leisurely on a cart loaded with sacks. The sacks were bulging, and it was impossible to tell what was in them.

Seeing Lin Jinyun, the four men sat up and looked him up and down in a rude manner. The leading man stepped forward, saluted perfunctorily, and called out "Master Lin".

Lin Jinyun suspected that the people who kidnapped him last time might be them. He was filled with anger and fear. He carefully memorized the appearance of these people, straightened his back a little, and ordered the four men to act quickly and take Liu Momo away and kill her.

Seeing Lin Jinyun putting on an official air, the four turned their heads and looked at each other with contemptuous smiles:
"We do this kind of headless business just to make money. The money given by the customers is only enough to dispose of the bodies, but not to kill people.

If Lord Lin doesn't want to dirty his hands, just pay a little more silver, not much, just one hundred taels."

Lin Jinyun said anxiously:

"One hundred taels? I'm just a servant, how can I ask for so much silver?"

The leader picked his ears and replied lazily:

"This is killing people, not pigs. You don't want to dirty your hands and you don't want to pay for it. Do you want us to take the risk in vain?"

As he spoke, he gestured to his accomplice towards the house:
"Since you think it's too expensive, then do it yourself. I can teach you. Killing people is not difficult."

The accomplice got the signal and dragged Liu Momo, who had her hands and feet tied and her mouth stuffed with coarse cloth, out of the house and threw her in front of Lin Jinyun's feet:

"Lord Lin, please." Liu Momo's mouth was blocked, and she couldn't speak, but the look she gave Lin Jinyun was like a sharp blade. She struggled desperately and whimpered. Lin Jinyun, who was guilty and panicked, backed away repeatedly and didn't dare to look at her.

The leader was annoyed by Liu Momo's noise, so he stepped forward and kicked her, causing her to stop struggling. He then pulled out a black cloth from his waist and covered Liu Momo's head tightly.
"Don't be afraid, Lord Lin. This is the first time it's happened. It will be better if you can't see it. Lord Lin, do you need a weapon that's handy?"

Lin Jinyun was frightened and got angry at the four people, ordering them to take the person away quickly.

The four of them were unmoved. When Lin Jinyun got angry for the second time, they simply dragged Liu Momo, whose head was covered, back into the house.

"It's almost time. Anyway, we have already received the money for disposing of the corpse. If Lord Lin doesn't do it himself, then we can't blame you. So I'll take my leave now."

After saying that, the four men bowed perfunctorily again, pushed the cart and were about to leave. Anxious and angry, Lin Jinyun called them to stop in a stern voice. Facing the cold eyes of the four men, he timidly stopped and softened his tone.

No matter what, the four of them refused to take action. During the stalemate, a burly man ran in:

After they finished speaking, the four men left without any hesitation. Lin Jinyun was terrified and agreed to give the four men one hundred taels of silver to deal with Liu Momo. However, he had no cash on him, so he signed a written agreement and asked the men to come to his house to collect the money another day.

However, some people did not believe him at all:
"Master Lin, are you joking? In our business, we don't accept credit if we have to pay today but not tomorrow."

Seeing that they were about to leave, Lin Jinyun was panicking, fearing that the people from Prince Jin's Mansion would capture Liu Momo, so he had to agree to do it himself and asked them to wait.
