Chapter 625 Sowing discord
Baru was choked speechless by Wang Xinxin's words. He pointed at Wang Xinxin in frustration but couldn't say anything for a long time.

"Lv Da, don't listen to her nonsense! This woman just wants to sow discord!" Baru pointed at Wang Xinxin and shouted at Lu Da.

Lu Da waved his hand impatiently, interrupting Baru's words. He looked at Wang Xinxin and asked in a deep voice, "Go on."

Wang Xinxin was secretly delighted to see that Lu Da had been completely persuaded by her. She continued, "You contributed the most to kidnapping me this time. You took the risk to kidnap me and provided me with good food and drink. Did Baru see all the hard work? Does he understand it?"

Lu Da listened to Wang Xinxin's words, recalled his hard work during this period, and then looked at Baru who was standing aside, doing nothing but thinking about getting a piece of the pie, and suddenly a nameless anger rose in his heart.

"You're right, I did the most work this time!" Lu Da slammed the table and said loudly, his tone full of anger and dissatisfaction.

"So, you should take the lion's share of this money! At least 90%!" Wang Xinxin struck while the iron was hot and continued to persuade.

"Ninety percent?" Lu Da's eyes suddenly lit up, he licked his lips greedily, and his breathing became rapid.

"That's right, 90%! The remaining 10% can be considered as the hard work fee for running errands for Baru." Wang Xinxin said with a smile, as if she was the ultimate winner of this division of the spoils.

"No! Why should you only give me 10%? I don't agree!" Baru finally couldn't help it. He roared loudly, his eyes full of bloodshot.

"You don't agree? What qualifications do you have to disagree?" Lu Da stood up suddenly and looked down at Baru with fierce eyes, like an enraged beast.

"We should divide this money equally! Why should you take 90%?" Baru also shouted with his neck stiff, refusing to give in.

"Because I contributed the most! Because I am the leader of this operation!" Lu Da roared. He grabbed the wooden stick on the table and pointed it at Baru's nose, threatening, "If you dare to talk nonsense again, believe it or not, I won't give you even your 10%!"

"You..." Baru was frightened by Lu Da's momentum, but he was unwilling to give up. He said fiercely, "You dare to touch me? I tell you, I..."

"What?!" Lu Da was furious. He could no longer control his emotions. He raised the wooden stick in his hand and smashed it hard on Baru's head.

With a dull "bang", the wooden stick hit Baru's temple heavily. Baru let out a scream, then fell limply to the ground. Blood gushed out from his temple, staining the ground red.

Lu Da was stunned when he saw Baru lying in a pool of blood.

He never thought that he would actually kill someone in a moment of impulse.

"Baru! Baru!" Lu Da, with trembling hands, tried Baru's breath, but found that he had stopped breathing.

Fear, like a tide, instantly overwhelmed Lu Da.

He threw away the stick in his hand in panic and crawled towards the door.

"Money! Money!" In his panic, Lu Da did not forget to grab the purse on the ground.

He stumbled to the door, only to slam into a solid "wall".

"Ah!" Lu Da raised his head in horror, but saw a familiar face.

Lin Ke!

"You...how come you are here?" Lu Da's voice trembled and his eyes were full of fear.

Lin Ke looked at Lu Da expressionlessly, his eyes cold, as if he was looking at a dead person.

"What do you think?" Lin Ke's voice was low and powerful, and every word was like a heavy hammer hitting Lu Da's heart.

Lu Da took a few steps back in horror, only to find that there was no way to retreat behind him.

He is surrounded!
A group of burly bodyguards in black suits had surrounded the room without anyone noticing.

They all had expressionless faces and fierce eyes, like a group of messengers from hell.

Lu Da was desperate.

He knew that he was finished. "Lin Ke, I was wrong! I was really wrong! Please, let me go! I promise I will never do it again!" Lu Da knelt down in front of Lin Ke and begged bitterly.

"Let you go?" Lin Ke sneered, "You killed Baru, and you still want me to let you go?"

"No! It's not me! It's him! It's Wang Xinxin! She was the one who instigated the discord and asked me to kill Baru!" Lu Da pointed at Wang Xinxin and yelled hysterically.

Wang Xinxin looked at Lu Da coldly, without a trace of pity in her eyes.

"At this point, do you still want to put the blame on me?" Wang Xinxin's voice was icy cold, like a cold wind from the Nine Nether Hell.

"It's you! It's you who hurt me! I'm going to kill you!" Lu Da completely lost his mind. He pounced on Wang Xinxin, wanting to die with her.

"Xinxin!" Wang Ze exclaimed and wanted to step forward to stop it, but was stopped by Lin Ke.

"Don't worry, I'm here." Lin Ke patted Wang Ze's shoulder, signaling him to be at ease.

Just when Lu Da was about to pounce on Wang Xinxin, Lin Ke moved.

He moved like lightning, grabbed Lu Da by the collar and lifted him up.

"You think you can touch her?" Lin Ke's voice was cold and ruthless, like a judgment from hell.

"Let me go! Let me go!" Lu Da struggled desperately, but to no avail.

Lin Ke carried Lu Da in front of Wang Xinxin like he was carrying a chicken.

"Apologize." Lin Ke said coldly.

"I..." Lu Da wanted to argue, but was frightened by Lin Ke's cold eyes and trembled all over.

"I'm...I'm sorry..." Lu Da said these three words with difficulty in his trembling voice.

"Speak louder! I can't hear you!" Lin Ke roared.

"I'm sorry!" Lu Da was so scared that he yelled at the top of his voice.

"Get out!" Lin Ke threw Lu Da to the ground like throwing away garbage.

Lu Da crawled to the door, but found that his way was blocked by a tall figure.

It’s Wang Ze!
"What do you want to do?" Lu Da looked at Wang Ze in horror and asked in a trembling voice.

Wang Ze didn't say anything. He just looked at Lu Da coldly, his eyes full of anger and disgust.

"Get out!" Wang Ze kicked Lu Da in the stomach and kicked him out.

"Ah!" Lu Da let out a scream, then lay on the ground like a dead dog, motionless.

Wang Ze walked quickly to Wang Xinxin and asked with concern: "Xinxin, are you okay?"

Wang Xinxin shook her head and forced a smile: "I'm fine, Dad, I'm fine."

Wang Ze held Wang Xinxin in his arms with heartache, patted her back gently and comforted her.

Lin Ke looked at this scene, the corners of his mouth slightly raised, revealing a smile of relief.

He knew that the nightmare was finally over.
