Chapter 1412 General Ross: Why is it my fault again?

Bronsky's run was like a sudden storm that swept across New York's Broadway.

Every inch of muscle in his huge body seemed to contain endless power. Every step he took made the ground tremble. With a rumbling sound, he was like a beast that had broken free from its reins, ignoring all rules and order and rushing straight into the bustling street.

The pedestrians on the street were stunned at first, then screamed in fear and ran away in all directions.

The drivers of the vehicles slammed the brakes and steered, trying to avoid this sudden behemoth, but Bronsky's appearance was too abrupt and his speed was too fast. For a moment, the originally orderly traffic was paralyzed.

Car accidents followed one after another, and the harsh sound of metal collision and the crisp sound of glass breaking intertwined to form a chaotic symphony.

Bronski had no reaction to this. His eyes were only on the front, as if the whole world had nothing to do with him.

His steps were as heavy as a mountain. Each step was enough to make the surrounding buildings tremble. All obstacles on the street, whether parked vehicles or street facilities, seemed fragile under his impact.

Lighter objects were knocked away by him, and heavier objects were pushed away by his brute force, or even crushed by his body, leaving behind a mess.

The vehicles that were unfortunate enough to be caught up in the incident were like fragile toys that Bronski manipulated at will.

Some vehicles were overturned by an invisible force, with four wheels facing the sky and spinning in place; others were kicked away by him, like fallen leaves caught in a hurricane, flying far away until they hit the buildings on the other side and stopped.

Some vehicles were even slapped away by his palm, drawing an exaggerated arc and finally disappearing into the distant buildings.

The fates of these vehicles varied, with some tumbling through the air and others penetrating directly into the outer walls of buildings, triggering a chain reaction.

One of the cars happened to crash into the gas station. After sparks flew, a raging fire quickly spread and engulfed the entire gas station. The fire was carried out by the wind and quickly spread to the surrounding buildings. Thick smoke billowed, covering the sky.

Under the light of the fire, people's panic reached its peak.

They abandoned their vehicles, dropped their belongings, and even forgot about their loved ones, and just ran desperately to find a safe shelter.

Screams, cries, and shouts intertwined to create a picture of hell on earth. Bronsky's existence was like an inescapable nightmare, magnifying the fear in people's hearts infinitely.

At the same time, General Ross, who was far away at the base, had his assistant rush over with a nervous look on his face: "General Ross, Hulk has appeared!"

Upon hearing this, General Ross frowned and a hint of disbelief flashed in his eyes.

Hulk, the green giant he has been tracking for many years, is now back in the public eye?

"That's impossible!" He denied it flatly. "Hulk is now under close surveillance by Ares Industries. They won't let Bruce Banner out of their sight."

"But this is a live video feed from Broadway, please watch it."

The assistant said as he turned the computer screen towards General Ross.

On the screen, a huge guy emitting fluorescent green all over his body was wreaking havoc on the streets. The police fired gunshots one after another, but when the bullets hit the monster, they only splashed a series of sparks and could not cause any substantial damage to it.

General Ross carefully observed the figure in the video, his brows furrowed more and more.

The monster in front of him was different from the Hulk. It was larger in size and more violent in its movements. More importantly, the sparks produced when the bullets hit it showed that its skin was not the special muscle like the Hulk's that could absorb the kinetic energy of bullets.

But this power, this destructive force, made him think of the Hulk. "This is not the Hulk," General Ross said after a moment's silence. "Although the appearance is similar, there are obvious differences in the details. The Hulk's skin can absorb kinetic energy, and bullets will lose power when they hit it, but this..." He shook his head, "This is more like the result of some kind of enhancement experiment."

Especially the appearance is completely different.

A series of possible scenarios flashed through General Ross's mind. Ares Industries' experiment?

Or is it a secret weapon from some unknown force?
In either case, it means a new crisis is approaching.

He immediately ordered: "Activate the emergency plan and mobilize all available resources. I want to know the origin of this monster and why it appeared on the streets of New York."

As the order was issued, the entire base quickly took action. Technicians began to analyze the video, trying to find clues from the details; intelligence personnel began to collect relevant information and screen possible suspects; and the special operations team was ready to go, ready to respond to any emergency that might occur.

Meanwhile, Bronski's destruction continued.

He had completely lost his mind, with only the desire to destroy in his heart. Whenever he saw a new obstacle ahead, he would rush forward without hesitation and clear it in the most direct and violent way.

Under his ravages, Broadway was turned into a ruin, with flames shooting into the sky and smoke filling the air, as if the end of the world had come.

People fled in all directions, looking for safe shelter.

Some brave police officers tried to block the road with police cars and used tear gas and stun grenades to try to stop Bronski, but all this was in vain.

Bronsky seemed tireless and felt no pain. All he saw was the future and destruction.

Just when the situation was completely out of control, a roar suddenly came from the sky.

Several helicopters approached rapidly, and the special forces on board quickly parachuted and moved closer to Bronski.

"Rose!"

Bronsky didn't know where to find Iron Man and the White Emperor, but General Ross was different. His identity was enough to attract Iron Man and the White Emperor.

So he immediately set his sights on General Ross.

General Ross ordered his men to open fire, but it was pointless.

The police's bullets had no effect, and neither did the military's heavy weapons.

The large-caliber bullets still caused sparks to fly when they hit Bronski, and the ricocheting bullets accidentally injured and killed many soldiers.

"Rose!"

Bronski rushed towards General Ross, and General Ross immediately recognized him when he heard Bronski's words.

"Bronsky?"

General Ross's face changed drastically. How could this be possible? How did he become like this?
More importantly, Bronsky is his man. What would outsiders think if they knew that he had become what he is now and was wreaking havoc on Broadway?
Isn't it all his responsibility?
Bronski ignored the attacks from others and quickly reached General Ross.
