The reincarnation of the heavens begins with the path to immortality

Sakyamuni and Ye Fan sat opposite each other. Sakyamuni looked thoughtful and spoke slowly.

He said, "Thousands of years ago, I was born in a small country. I have had a connection with Buddha since I was young. I practiced Buddhism and read Buddhist scriptures. Many scriptures were difficult for other old monks to comprehend thoroughly, but I could easily comprehend the essence of them. As a result, I was valued by a great Buddhist saint and became his disciple!"

Ye Fan nodded after listening. Indeed, according to legend, Sakyamuni was a prince of a small country named Siddhartha, who later became a monk!

However, what Ye Fan valued most was not Sakyamuni’s origin, but Sakyamuni’s extraordinary talents. He had a connection with Buddha since childhood. He could understand and comprehend Buddhist scriptures that the old monk could not understand. This instantly made Ye Fan’s eyes flash slightly!

Because, this reminded him of Huahua. Huahua also had a connection with Buddha since birth. He could recite many scriptures and was familiar with Buddhist scriptures. Although Huahua looked like a frivolous monk, his Buddhist teachings could not be underestimated.

Therefore, Sakyamuni and Huahua are very similar in this respect. They both have a connection with Buddha since childhood and can easily comprehend Buddhist scriptures, as if it is a natural talent!
So, what kind of background can create such talent?
For a moment, Ye Fan narrowed his eyes slightly, as if thinking about something.

Shakyamuni glanced at him and continued, "I became a disciple of the great sage of Buddhism and studied Buddhist scriptures. Later, as I practiced Buddhism, I developed my own views on Buddhist scriptures. I believe that the practice of Buddhism is about sudden enlightenment and saving others and oneself. There is no need to practice hard all the time!"

Hearing this, Ye Fan nodded again. According to the legend, Sakyamuni did see the ascetic monks of Buddhism and thought that the ascetic monks' method of practice was wrong. Practice does not lie in blindly enduring and practicing asceticism, but also in achieving sudden enlightenment and saving others and oneself!
Shakyamuni smiled and said, "In this way, I have slowly created my own Buddhist teachings and walked my own path, which is different from the original Buddhist teachings but also similar to them!"

"After I became a Quasi-Emperor, I cultivated a 16-foot-tall golden body under the Bodhi tree. Suddenly, one day, the power of Buddhist faith gathered from all over the universe and condensed into Dao Fruit to bless me. As a result, I cultivated faster and faster until I became a Quasi-Emperor. Suddenly, I noticed some changes in myself!"

As he spoke, he looked at Ye Fan with an extremely deep gaze, and there was even a hint of fear hidden deep in his eyes!
When Ye Fan heard this, he couldn't help but sit up straight. He already had some associations and guesses in his mind, but he still asked as if to confirm: "Oh? What's the change?"

Shakyamuni frowned slightly and said in a deep voice: "I suddenly found that I am changing little by little, becoming less and less like myself. Even the Buddhist scriptures I created are gradually returning to the original Buddhist path!"

Instantly, Ye Fan's eyes narrowed slightly, and he thought to himself: "Sure enough! Is it that as the fruit of Nirvana condenses, the great Buddha Amitabha will slowly awaken in him? So he is no longer like himself? Even the Buddhist scriptures he created will change accordingly!"

"This kind of fusion, possession and fusion is really terrifying. It is so subtle and silent, it penetrates into the body little by little. Once you don't notice the changes in yourself, you can't tell when you will quietly become another person without even noticing anything. Just thinking about it makes me feel cold!"

Thinking this way, Ye Fan became more alert and more wary of the Amitabha Emperor. He didn't want Huahua to slowly become another person without knowing it in the future! So, Ye Fan couldn't help asking: "Then what? What did you do? How to get rid of that change?"

Shakyamuni had a complicated expression, and said in a deep voice: "I noticed the changes in myself, and then I also realized the cause and effect between myself and the great Buddha Amitabha. Therefore, I have two paths and two choices before me. One is to continue to accept the infinite faith of Buddhism and condense the fruit of Nirvana. Finally, the fruit will take shape, and the great Buddha Amitabha will wake up and return in my body!"

Ye Fan shook his head and said, "But obviously, Fellow Daoist Sakya did not choose to become the Great Emperor Amitabha!"

Shakyamuni nodded and smiled, "Indeed! But it was difficult for me to make a choice at that time, because Mr. Ye, you know that if I chose to become the Great Emperor Amitabha, then I would most likely directly attain enlightenment and become an emperor. At that time, attaining enlightenment and becoming an emperor was a great temptation for me!"

If thousands of years ago, Sakyamuni had really chosen to accept the Buddha Amitabha and condense the complete nirvana, then indeed, once the nirvana was fully formed, not only would the Buddha Amitabha return from Nirvana, but he would also most likely attain enlightenment again!
Then, the great emperor of this world would not be Shen Pingkang, the Immortal Lord who crawled out of the immortal tomb, attained nirvana and transformed into a god, and then attained enlightenment again!
It might be that the great Buddha Amitabha awakened from Nirvana in the body of Sakyamuni and then attained enlightenment again!
Really prove the truth! For those who are about to achieve the truth in the ninth heaven of the Quasi-Emperor, or even for those who have achieved the truth in a different way, it is a great temptation. Although it seems to be just the last step, it is extremely difficult to take this step, just like Ning Fei and Chuan Ying, they can never take that last step!
Thinking in this way, it is no wonder that Shakyamuni was so conflicted at the time. It was indeed a difficult choice whether to choose to integrate and attain enlightenment immediately, or to persist on an extremely difficult path of self-cultivation!
However, Ye Fan smiled and said, “But in the end, fellow Taoist still chose to go his own way, instead of becoming that Amitabha Buddha and attain enlightenment immediately!”

Shakyamuni nodded and said with a smile, "Indeed! I have thought about it for a long time, and finally decided to take my own path, practice my own Buddhism, and completely cut off ties with the great Buddha Amitabha. I also gave up the Bodhi tree and will no longer be influenced by the great Buddha Amitabha!"

“Because of this, my cultivation has stagnated ever since then, and I have been unable to break through to the ninth level of the Quasi-Emperor realm. It was not until these years that I devoted myself to the Hall of Eternal Life and followed that Heavenly Venerable in cultivation that I took a small step forward and achieved enlightenment in a different way!”

Ye Fan frowned, thought for a moment, and couldn't help asking: "So, fellow Daoist, you just choose to refuse to become the Amitabha Buddha Emperor? There were no twists and turns? For example, the Amitabha Buddha Emperor didn't secretly make trouble to stop you?"

Hearing this, Shakyamuni shook his head and laughed, "I understand what you mean, but you are joking. After all, that Amitabha Buddha is the Buddha of Buddhism. Buddhism talks about cause and effect, this life and the next life, and the law of equality. After all, that Amitabha Buddha is still a Buddha, not a demon, and he will not force anyone!"

"However, Mr. Ye also needs to understand that Buddha does not force others to do things, but he will still influence people. If you don't insist, you will still be easily influenced by him!"

What he said was full of profound meaning, and his expression was also meaningful. Ye Fan frowned immediately after hearing it, and his expression seemed to be thinking about something.

What does it mean? The Buddha Emperor Amitabha will not force anything on others, but he may influence them. If they are subtly influenced and do not insist on their own way, then will it be easy for them to accept the Buddha Emperor Amitabha and become the Buddha Emperor Amitabha?

Thinking of this, Ye Fan felt even more awed in his heart, and became even more alert towards the Great Emperor Amitabha!
