Because the scene lasted three minutes, which was too long, he had to save the time for other things.

Because the plot of Yang Ye's version is different from the original version. In the original version, T800 changed from a villain in the first part to a decent person in the second part.

After deleting it, two problems were solved: the first was the problem of shooting, and the second was the problem that the plot could not be fulfilled.

Cameron's version of "Terminator 2", the theatrical version is 137 minutes, and the extended version is 156 minutes, a difference of minutes.

This plot was derived from the previous scene when taking the chip. It was mainly for fun and to adjust the atmosphere.

One paragraph is about the daily life of a black scientist’s family. This paragraph is useless and should be deleted directly.

At one point, the T1000 showed signs of melting due to the high temperature generated by the explosion. This lens cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to make.

It is hinting to the audience that T1000 may be eliminated.

This echoes the scene in the final ending where the protagonist group throws the T1000 into molten steel.

Yang Ye kept this shot.

The last section deleted was the original ending of "Terminator 2".

That was a very sunny ending.

Many years later, Shala grew old, became a grandmother, and spent her old age peacefully.

Her son John became a government official and had a lovely daughter.

They really changed the future. The nuclear explosion did not happen and the world was not destroyed.

This sunny ending did not match the gloomy style of the entire film, and it blocked the possibility of making a third film, so in the end it was directly deleted and a road version of the ending was remade.

However, despite deleting this ending, Cameron ultimately did not film the third film due to copyright issues.

In fact, Cameron very much hopes to shoot the third part.

It's a pity that in order to obtain the rights to film "Terminator", he sold the copyright for one dollar.

Without copyright, he could only stare.

At that time, Cameron was filming "Titanic" and he told Fox, you go buy back the rights to "Terminator" and I will help you make the third one.
