What bad intentions can a temple blessing have?
Chapter 513: The Countermeasure to Kill Three Corpses
Chapter 513: The opposite method of beheading the three corpses
Taoist Mosquito stood on the clouds, and in front of him was Jiang Qi who was meditating with his eyes closed.
"My dear brother, do you really trust me so much? You are not on guard at all?"
Taoist Mosquito muttered to himself with an indescribable smile on his face.
She originally thought that Jiang Qi would go directly to Dongsheng Shenzhou, but unexpectedly, when it came to the final step, Jiang Qi was not in a hurry anymore.
Summoning a most ordinary fairy cloud, it slowly headed towards the Dongsheng Shenzhou.
On the way, he even said directly that he wanted to meditate and comprehend a method, and asked Taoist Mosquito to protect him.
Then I really started to meditate without any defense.
Taoist Mosquito knew very well that this was not absolute trust, but it could not be called a test either. His younger brother would not use such tricks.
It's neither trust nor temptation, but more like a tacit understanding.
Both parties get what they need, and before that, there can be 99% trust between them.
As for the remaining point, it’s not that they have bad intentions, but that they each have some private secrets that cannot be explained to the other.
This is the attitude that Jiang Qi wants to show to Taoist Mosquito.
Therefore, Taoist Mosquito performed his duty as a guardian very well, and black lines appeared all around him.
Even if Wutan came in person, Taoist Mosquito could still buy three breaths for Jiang Qi.
This was enough for Jiang Qi to wake up from his meditation.
Jiang Qi obviously knew this, so he felt relieved and was truly trying to comprehend a method.
Previously, Jiang Qi crossed the long river of time and went to the past, filling the last loophole in his Daluo Dao and mending a cause and effect in time.
He also received a method from the great celestial master of the past.
Originally, Jiang Qi didn't need to be so anxious. After all, now was not the time to do this.
But perhaps due to the influence of time and karma, Jiang Qi discovered that the Dharma passed down to him by the Great Celestial Venerable seemed to be losing its spirituality.
This is the main reason why Jiang Qi did this.
At this moment, Jiang Qi immersed all his consciousness in the method passed down by the Great Heavenly Venerable.
This method has no name, but its inner power is so profound and its path so high that it is no less than the one Qi transforming into the Three Pure Ones, and it may even be better!
Jiang Qi already understood what this method was, but he was still shocked.
If we say that the magical powers such as One Qi Transforming into Three Purities, Jade Purity Divine Light and Upper Purity Killing Sword are the door to all wonders and the pinnacle of the Dharma.
Then, the method passed down by the Great Heavenly Venerable is the way to transcendence, the supreme method!
The method itself has no name, but what it describes is a path to transcendence.
Kill three corpses!
If one wants to step into the legendary Hunyuan Daluo Tianxian realm, the transcendent realm only below the saints, there are only two ways to go.
No, to be exact, two and a half.
Half of it is like the Taoist Mosquito, who takes the path of "alternative enlightenment" through his own background and talents.
For example, Taoist Mosquito swallowed the third-grade golden lotus of merit and virtue, and with the help of the profound knowledge of Holy Mother Turtle Spirit, he was able to attain an alternative path to enlightenment and become the Great Luo Heavenly Immortal.
However, this path has too many limitations and its innate requirements are too biased, so it is not suitable for all practitioners.
Compared to the unconventional way of attaining enlightenment, there are two ways to go if one wants to set foot in the realm of Hunyuan Daluo Tianxian.
These two paths are also the paths of enlightenment that the six saints walked in the past.
Recalling the past, the Saint Nuwa created the human race and received merits from heaven. She was the first of the six disciples of the Taoist Ancestor to attain sainthood.
The path he follows is called: attaining the truth through merit and virtue.
The two saints in the West also used this method to attain enlightenment, but the luck and merits of Buddhism were not enough for them to achieve enlightenment, so they made forty-eight great wishes to the Heavenly Dao before they succeeded.
It was originally a helpless act, but who would have thought that by some unexpected coincidence it would lead to the will of heaven and give rise to the trend of the rise of Buddhism.
In addition to the merits of creating humans and establishing religions to prove the truth, there is another way, which is to kill the three corpses to prove the truth.
The representative figure of this path is naturally Jiang Qi’s own Three Pure Ones Patriarch.
But strictly speaking, the only person who attained enlightenment simply by beheading the three corpses was Saint Taiqing.
Neither the Jade Purity Saint nor the Upper Purity Saint reached the extreme in the way of beheading the three corpses, but with the help of the merits of establishing a religion, they gave the final push and only then did they become saints.
It is precisely because these two saints achieved enlightenment and took away the merits of their own Taoist traditions that the two sects of Chan and Jie had to struggle within the kalpa.
On the other hand, the human religion has always been independent of the kalpa and has not been affected by cause and effect. This is directly related to the fact that the Saint Taiqing killed the three corpses to prove the truth and did not take the merits of the human religion.
At the same time, it also established the strength and status of Taiqing Saint as the leader of the Six Saints!
The advantages and disadvantages of this method of attaining enlightenment can be seen.
Killing the Three Corpses to attain enlightenment is more pure, but also more difficult. Even Jade Purity and Upper Purity did not fully achieve this, and in the end they only achieved enlightenment by cultivating merits at a lower level.
However, it is also more powerful than simply proving the truth through merit.
In fact, when it comes to advantages and disadvantages, the difference is really not that big, it can even be said to be negligible.
But at the saint level, this is so insignificant that it becomes particularly important.
This is also the main reason why the Three Pure Ones suppress the Two Buddhas.
Today, practitioners of Taoism and Buddhism are also influenced by their respective ancestors.
People in Buddhism, such as Medicine Buddha, practice merit and attain enlightenment.
People in the Taoist sect, on the other hand, are more inclined to practice the method of beheading the three corpses.
Of course, it's not absolute.
If nothing unexpected happens, Jiang Qi's senior master should place both methods in front of him and let him choose.
But now, Jiang Qi feels that he no longer needs to choose.
There is no other method that suits me better than the one in front of me: beheading the three corpses!
Jiang Qi was extremely certain of this point the moment he saw the specific content of this method.
The way to kill the three corpses is just a general term. The so-called three thousand great ways lead to the same destination. Different paths can also achieve the same goal.
The so-called beheading of the three corpses means to cut off the complexity from oneself and move towards a higher realm in the cleanest and simplest state.
The three corpses are good, evil and self.
The three corpses that are beheaded are actually no different from oneself. They will have their own independent consciousness and will serve as the most reliable and trustworthy helpers of the main body.
But Jiang Qi was somewhat resistant to this method.
What he has always believed in is the imposition of tremendous power on himself, and the method of beheading the three corpses is more like a kind of separation.
The purpose of beheading the three corpses is to achieve purity of oneself, but what Jiang Qi wants is a more thorough, "only" purity.
After all, Jiang Qi was able to perform different tricks by transforming his Qi into Three Pure Ones.
Others have one Qi transforming into the Three Pure Ones, but Jiang Qi has the Three Pure Ones merged into one Qi.
In fact, if it weren’t for this method bestowed by the Great Heavenly Venerable, Jiang Qi would even be more inclined to practice the method of cultivating merit and attaining enlightenment.
There is no other reason. In Jiang Qi's opinion, upholding the purity of human nature is more important than anything else.
This purity does not allow anything to taint it, not even Jiang Qi's own three corpses.
But history has proven that the way of beheading the three corpses is only slightly stronger than the way of merit.
Originally Jiang Qi had made his choice.
But now it’s different. The method bestowed by the Great Celestial Venerable perfectly solved Jiang Qi’s concerns.
This unnamed method of beheading the Three Corpses does not require the support of magic weapons or the separation of the Three Corpses.
Instead, it is fusion.
After beheading one corpse, separate it and merge it into the remaining two corpses. Then behead another corpse, break it up and merge it into the last corpse.
Finally, cut out the thing that is the combination of the three corpses and merge it with yourself.
In this way, the three corpses were chopped off, but they never separated. This was exactly the tremendous power that Jiang Qi pursued, to be added to himself.
But this method also has its drawbacks. The general method of beheading the three corpses is difficult at first but becomes easier later on. The threshold will kill countless people, but as long as one corpse is beheaded, the rest will become easier and easier.
This is like moving bricks. First move three, then two, and then one. Naturally, it becomes less and less laborious.
But the method in Jiang Qi's hands is different. Not only has the threshold not been lowered, but after beheading one corpse, the difficulty of beheading another will skyrocket!
It was as if Jiang Qi moved three bricks, split one of them into two halves, and stuck each half to the other two bricks.
Not only has the weight not decreased, but the volume has increased, making it more difficult to exert force.
But so what?
Jiang Qi opened his eyes and completely understood this method.
This method can be practiced!
