Chapter 301 Big Bear
The "Iron Legion" of the new Ghis people looks like a group of noisy knights. Their equipment looks similar to that of the Unsullied, but they are not as silent and taciturn as the latter. They regard orders as more important than life and death.

Jorah Mormont held the sword. He had never held the hilt of a Valyrian steel sword since he was separated from his father's "Long Claw". But Meereen and the eastern continent beneath his feet were indeed rich lands that seemed to waste precious things easily. Even the Valyrian steel sword, a treasure that the Lannister family could hardly regain with all their money, was just a decoration for slave owners and merchants to decorate their bedrooms.

He named it "Atonement".

A powerful roar sounded in the sky like a miracle. The sun's light leaked out little by little from behind the clouds, shining on Viserion's golden and transparent dragon wings. His two eyes like molten gold peered at the new Ghis Legion phalanx outside Meereen.

Jorah prayed in his heart, since Viserion was here, Rhaegal must be not far away. Although the two dragons were not as close to Dany as Drogon, they were both her children. Dragons understood human nature and would surely know who was friend and who was foe.

It would be even better if they suddenly descended from the sky and breathed dragon fire on the Gith war elephants.

But when he looked at the giant crossbows equipped by the "Iron Legion", his uneasiness rose again. He consciously grasped the cold battlements, feeling the rough surface.

He followed the path under the pyramid and went straight to the meeting room.

"Tal Tak," Jorah called to the Shield commander, "I need you to attack the enemy from the east gate."

Tal Tak nodded and pounded his chest, "For the Dragon Queen!"

This Shield Army is composed entirely of slaves liberated by Daenerys. Perhaps its formation was a bit hasty, but its performance in training was quite good, second only to the Unsullied.

"Missanlo," Jorah looked at Missandei's brave and warlike brother, who was born into the Unsullied and was a freed slave. His sister was a maid of Daenerys, so her loyalty was unquestionable. "I need you to lead the Dragon Mother's servants and attack from the south gate."

Missanglo did not express anything extra, but just frowned seriously and nodded, just like the Unsullied commanding Grey Worm.

"Skarlatz." Jorah Mormont called out the name of the "Round-headed King" in his broken language. The latter had an extremely ugly face and a cruel but decisive character. Jorah admired him, but Dany was afraid of him.

"My lord," King Roundhead realized Jorah Mormont's embarrassment and took the initiative to speak, "Just tell me what the Roundheads and the powerful Beastmen who are loyal to the queen need to do."

Jorah concentrated and said solemnly: "No one knows Meereen better than you. The city needs someone with sufficient authority to protect it."

"Let us defend the city?"

Jorah nodded. "The walls need to be filled with people. We can't let those cowards from Fenkai and New Ghis outside think that we are short of troops. Your image of the Beast Army is very suitable." He pursed his lips hesitantly, a little hesitant in his heart whether this arrangement is appropriate. He is not sure whether the Round-headed King, who seems to have a great hatred for the nobles of Meereen, is really loyal to Dany.

But the Roundhead King laughed out loud. "You can ask us to do anything. You are the Hand of the Queen. For the Dragon Queen's cause, the Gith people of the Beast Army have no choice but to do it. The old system must be dismantled. The Yunkai people are overestimating themselves!"

There are also the Qartheens, the Tolosians, the Ellerias, and your own people, the so-called New Ghis, Jorah thought, his dragon queen at war with nearly half of the East Continent.

"Simon!" he shouted.

"Lord Mormont," Simon stood up. He was a slave of Astapor. He was called "Scarback" Simon because of the scar left by his master. He was the first slave to pledge allegiance to the Dragon Queen and get promoted. The Queen trusted him, and so did Jorah. These liberated slaves and the elite Unsullied were Dany's foundation. "The Free Brothers and I will follow your command."

"Guard the north gate, and make sure you hold it." Qiao La patted his shoulder and warned him.

Simon nodded and then stepped back into his place.

The Roundhead King looked at him with a playful look in his eyes. Simon and Missanlo were still as cold and solemn as the officers of the Unsullied. Tal Tark was already eager to see blood on the blade in his hand, and he kept sharpening it with the whetstone. Jorah sighed and said, "Our goal is simple. The 'Six Sisters' that the Yunkai people are proud of, the six trebuchets stationed outside the city." Six towering and huge trebuchets that he had never seen before, much larger than the ones in King's Landing, "I will personally lead the cavalry, the gladiators in the pyramid, and the brothers of the Unsullied to go straight from the west gate to the 'Old Shrew', the 'Old Shrew' that is creaking and about to fall apart!"

"Hahahaha! Well said!" The Round-headed King touched his head, revealing two rows of teeth.

"Your goal is the same," Jorah glanced at Tal Tak and Missanlo, "to dismantle all six sisters so that they can't attack the city."

Misanlo nodded, as if he was already thinking about how to attack more efficiently.

"We have two dragons. They can tell friend from foe. When the queen comes back, we'll have three. If a war breaks out, that mob of mercenaries and slaves will be fed to the dragons, and those who don't suit our taste will be fed to the maggots. We have the Unsullied, the best infantry in the world. No matter how many Yunkai slaves and Lys troops there are, they are no match for us. Haha, look at what they have, a bunch of poorly trained monkeys, people walking on stilts, useless people in iron shackles, blind people, and children with epilepsy. I'm afraid they are all within the ranks of tens of thousands of troops. They're okay for performing for the queen in King's Landing, but for fighting a war, hmm."

"I like him." The Round-headed King said to the people around him with a laugh.

"Trust me," Jorah said, drawing his Valyrian longsword. "You will enjoy the battle of grey and blood more." He raised the sword. "For the Dragon Queen!"

"For the Dragon Queen!"

Victarion chose to divide his forces.

"It's lit, Captain," said Ragnol Pike beside him.

He nodded. The Qartheen fleet in Slaver's Bay would eventually react and turn around to fight back, but he wanted the Ironmen to land quickly and rescue the Dragon Queen as soon as possible.

The fire attack ships raised thick smoke and rolled forward, rushing towards the mouth of the Skahzadan River, where two Lys legions were stationed on the coast. The Yunkai ships were among them. This would focus the enemy's attention on both sides of the river and at least split up a lot of troops.

"Boom, boom, boom!"

The ships collided, and the first group of ironmen had already hoisted the Greyjoy family banner and landed.

Victarion took hold of the rudder. "Destroy these aliens!"

The plunderers formed an Iron Shield Formation and rushed towards the enemy soldiers who were constantly reinforced. Their round shields and iron axes harvested the slaves who had no desire to fight.

"Roar!~" A roar raised a wailing sound from the sea, and the orange flames with green threads burned the Iron Men and Qarth soldiers who were boarding the ships to fight. The fire raised by a warship was even more intense than the fire attack ship he specially built.

Victarion's breath quickened as he watched the creature flapping its moss-colored wings in the sky, leaping up and down, causing the people of Qartheen to hide here and there like monkeys in a circus.

With a glance, his iron men also fled in all directions.

Victarion hefted his axe and ignored the situation. "Let's go ashore. The situation on the sea is too complicated."

He turned his gaze to the dragon's horn hanging in the cabin. It seemed to sense the dragon's approach; Victarion could even hear it vibrate faintly.
