I want to embrace the moon for nine days

After hearing what Su Hanshan said, he smiled even more: "To be honest, I am at a loss as to what to do with the current state of Buddhism. It would be great if you could give me some pointers."

Su Hanshan shook his head: "Although what the monk said is not a lie, it is also evasive and not honest enough."

"You may not have come up with any good solutions to the current situation of Buddhism, but Tathagata and the others should have already made a plan and handed it over to you to execute, right?"

Maitreya smiled slightly, nodded and said, "Donor, you have a keen eye."

Bodhisattva Kinnara slammed the iron rod in his hand into the ground and snorted, "I'm afraid it's another trick to deceive people. Don't play tricks on me. Just speak out and let everyone hear it."

Maitreya sighed slightly, with an embarrassed look on his face.

"Some things are easier said than done, easier said than heard. It's hard for Maitreya Buddha to speak, so let me try to speak for myself."

As Su Hanshan spoke, he waved his sleeves to take away the image of the God of Plague in the sky and pointed at the Taiyi Wheel.

The Taiyi Wheel turned again, and the scene of the first meeting between "Emperor Mu", Jigong and the little monk Budai emerged.

Then everyone's figures disappeared, leaving only countless lines jumping on the surface of Taiyi Wheel, interconnected with each other, like a big net, becoming wider and wider.

Everyone in the field was an expert, so they could naturally see that those lines seemed to be interpreting the changes of cause and effect.

"Karma is born from cause and effect. Every cause has its effect, and every action has its retribution."

"The existence of the Void Black Lotus is the result of Lingshan's empty promise. After overdrawing his magic power for so many years and failing to repay the promise in time, it brought bad consequences. Therefore, anyone who has used the Great Wish Technique in Lingshan cannot resist it."

"But in other words, the Void Black Lotus is used specifically to collect a price. If the power of the Void Black Lotus is taken away and used for other things, it will not be in line with its mission."

"As a result, an additional force will be generated between heaven and earth to restrain the Void Black Lotus."

Su Hanshan said, "When I first met the little monk Budai, I learned about the Void Black Lotus, Tongtian Sect Master and other related matters, and I had a vague feeling in my heart. Now that I have seen the true body of Maitreya Bodhisattva and used the Taiyi Wheel to deduce, I can basically confirm it."

"After the Buddhist sect failed in its plot against Kinnara, they deliberately spread the news to trick Tongtian Patriarch into targeting the Void Black Lotus."

“Tongtian Patriarch gradually mastered the power of the black lotus and mixed it into his own cultivation. He certainly couldn’t just use it to deal with Buddhism. So the power between heaven and earth that specifically countered the black lotus was born.”

"The real mission of Maitreya Bodhisattva is to wait for Master Tongtian to do something evil, and then secretly collect the opposing forces to form a Pure White Lotus. When the opportunity is right, he will use it to offset the Black Lotus."

"Buddhism would have to remain silent for 333 years before it could be revived, but after implementing this plan, perhaps within 30 years, we can calm the influence of the Black Lotus and revive the sect."

The Queen Mother of the West was quite moved when she heard this: "The Tathagata Buddha is really very hardworking and wise."

She had previously worked with Su Hanshan to deduce martial arts, and her perspective had not yet changed. After hearing about the Buddhist plan, her first reaction was that Tathagata's ability to deduce martial arts was truly unique.

This plan was made very early, and at that time, the Void Black Lotus had not yet officially appeared in the world.

Tathagata not only calculated the characteristics of the power of black lotus, but also needed to calculate some characteristics of the power of white lotus. Only then could he create secret methods in a targeted manner and pass them on to Maitreya.

This will allow Maitreya to collect the loose power generated everywhere in time and build a complete white lotus when Tongtian Jiaozhu is running wild in the future.

No wonder Maitreya wanted his cloth bag's spirit to reincarnate into a confused little monk. It must have been a deliberate attempt to confuse others so that they would let down their guard and make it easier for him to act in the future.

Kinnara was more forthright, with his stick against his shoulder, clapping his hands vigorously and full of praise.

"Okay, okay, lure Tongtian into the trap, wait for him to get the black lotus, stir up a bigger storm, and then benefit yourself. This dirty plan really fits the usual style of some high-ranking officials in Lingshan."

Maitreya Bodhisattva lowered his eyebrows and said, "As long as the Void Black Lotus appears in the world for more than three hundred years, even if Tongtian didn't get the news in advance, there will definitely be other ambitious people who will covet it."

"Rather than letting the chaos grow, it is better to guide it. The Buddha's arrangement may seem a little inhumane, but in fact, he has chosen a method that is most likely to weaken the impact of the disaster from many possibilities, achieving multiple goals at one stroke."

Kinnara laughed: "As long as the Black Lotus appears, it will definitely be targeted by ambitious people. This is not your fault. Then why did the Black Lotus appear?"

Maitreya Bodhisattva, who was born with a smiling face, could not help but reveal a slightly wrinkled smile: "Although it is a good intention and good cause, it may not necessarily lead to good results. This is indeed the fault of Buddhism."

Kinnara wanted to say more, but Su Hanshan quickly waved his hand.

"Brother Kinnara, please be patient. I believe that the original intention of Tathagata Buddha to invent the art of great vows was good. It's all the fault of the people in the Buddhist sect who carried it out in a wrong way!"

Su Hanshan said, "This is your Lingshan's original plan. Now listen to the clear path I will point out to you."

"Your original idea was to shorten the time that the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who made great vows were affected and fell into nirvana, so that after this brief disturbance, you could awaken some of them and preserve the strength of the Buddhist high-level officials."

"But in my opinion, they deserve to pay the price. We should stop focusing on them and pay more attention to the Buddhists in the mortal world."

A lake emerged from the Taiyi Wheel, with hundreds of thousands of small fish playing leisurely in the lake.

The art of great wishes also has a threshold. It overdraws future magic power. This kind of operation is not something that anyone can do.

Therefore, most Buddhist disciples in the world have never made any great vows.

However, because all the Buddhas have entered Nirvana, their enemies took advantage of the situation to counterattack, and these Buddhists in the world have also been affected, with heavy casualties in recent times.

The hundreds of thousands of small fish in front of us are just the tip of the iceberg.

If Maitreya was not afraid of exposing his true identity, and displayed his great magical powers to search carefully according to the cause and effect, he would probably be able to find tens of millions of Buddhists who have recently reincarnated.

"The concept of reincarnation is the most deeply studied in Buddhism. Many Buddhist disciples, as long as they cultivate a certain level of magical power, will be able to establish a connection with Buddha and become Buddhists after they pass away."

“If one can cultivate immortal spiritual light through many lifetimes of practice, then every lifetime of practice will be rewarded. However, the vast majority of people cannot cultivate this spiritual light. They practice their entire lives and at most can only regain the magic power of their previous life. They cannot regain the magic power foundation of the previous three lives, or even the previous nine lives.”

Su Hanshan said to Maitreya, "Bodhisattva, of the three generations of Lingshan Buddhism, you are the only one left alive now."

"If you give up practicing the method of collecting the power of the white lotus and use all your energy to save the monks, it will be possible to help them regain the magic power of each life and glorify Buddhism."

Maitreya Bodhisattva responded: "I will definitely rescue the mortal monks in the future. This is also my original intention, Maitreya, and I will never go against it. But it is inappropriate to rush to call them back now, or even to retrieve their previous life's magic power for them."

“Even if we retrieve the magical powers they have accumulated since their first entry into Buddhism, their realm has never reached the level of immortal spiritual light, and they are simply unable to control such a huge amount of magical power.”

"It is difficult to use magical powers when facing those big monsters and giants. The dragon clan strongmen are still vulnerable and hurt them instead."

At this time, Kinnara Bodhisattva nodded and said, "There are many monks in the world, and many relatives and friends. It may be because of family and friendship, because of the local incense, or because of compassion. In short, once there is a disturbance in the three realms, we must contribute to it. This is the right way."

"But considering their strength, it is meaningless to put them in such a big storm now. It will only cause them to die one more time and add to their suffering."

Queen Mother of the West came to her senses, knew what Su Hanshan was going to do, and waved her sleeves with a smile.

A clear breeze blew across the Kingdom of Queen Mother of the West, and many ancient gods, as if they had received an order, dispersed and practiced their skills in different areas.

Maitreya and Kinnara noticed her movements and looked up.

The Kingdom of Queen Mother of the West is only a thousand miles in radius. Although many ancient gods live there, the mountains, rivers and land are nourished by the breath of the ancient gods, full of spiritual energy and extraordinary charm, and are much more solid than ordinary mountains and rivers.

But for a master like Kinnara Bodhisattva, the difference is just the difference between being able to smash it with one stick and being able to smash it with two or three sticks.

Maitreya is not very good at martial arts, but his mind is highly cultivated. Normally, as long as he sits quietly and observes silently, he can find out everything happening within a radius of five or six thousand miles.

If there is a cause and effect connection involved, with the help of the method of deduction, his wisdom eye can look up to the heavens and down to the underworld. Sitting on the sacred mountain in the west, he can look directly at the dust scenery hundreds of thousands of miles away.

But now, just based on these thousands of miles of mountains and rivers, there was a feeling that made the two Bodhisattvas very uncomfortable.

"What kind of formation is this?!"

Kinnara tried to lift the stick, and felt as if he was being pressed down by a huge mountain. The surroundings were clearly invisible and intangible, but if he wanted to use any techniques with the stick, he would definitely encounter great obstacles.

He was also very intelligent. He glanced around and couldn't help but wonder, "How come this formation seems so incomplete? Even though it's so incomplete, it already has such power?" Maitreya Bodhisattva's old eyes turned into golden ones. He looked around carefully and said with emotion, "The ancient gods actually came up with such a formation. No, it seems that there is also the Xuanmen Qi Refining Method. However, the Xuanmen Qi Refining has long been aimed at the stars and immortal fetuses. It's rare to have such a formation that doesn't care about the stars but only cares about the mountains and rivers!!"

Su Hanshan smiled and said, "The sounds of the great Dao, the sounds of the mountains and rivers, the sounds of the earth, seem grand and rough, but in fact they are meticulous and detailed. Even if the Buddhists in the world cannot control their own power, as long as they are in our formation and give a rough push, the wind, frost, rain and dew, the flow of mountains and rivers, the evaporation and circulation of the air in the heavens and the earth, will naturally become more refined."

"Especially, we can invite Queen Mother of the West and powerful people like you to serve as the core of the formation."

Maitreya Bodhisattva pondered in silence, took off the rosary on his wrist, and began to turn the beads.

This rosary is also called counting beads. It has a very ancient origin. It already existed before Buddhism was established. Originally it was only used for counting, but when it came to Buddhism, it was used to assist in the practice of the mind.

The thoughts are connected as one, the thoughts are continuous and equal, and the mind is clear and peaceful.

There is no end to the practice of mind. Some monks in the world believe that if they can enter into a state of meditation, their minds will be clear. But in fact, even Bodhisattvas and Buddhas often hold prayer beads and encounter times when they need to use prayer beads to calm their minds.

"I am honored to be the future Buddha. My mission is to use the Pure White Lotus to offset the Black Lotus, and to awaken the Buddhist friends who have not yet completely extinguished as soon as possible, so as to bring a clean future to them and future Buddhist disciples."

Maitreya spoke slowly, looking at the surrounding mountains and rivers, "Although this formation method is the best, if you choose it, you will really abandon the past and deviate from the path expected by the Buddhas. What should I do?"

Su Hanshan casually pinched out a golden Buddha, put it in his mouth, and bit off the Buddha's head with a click. It was crisp and tasted quite sweet. He smiled and said, "Buddha, are you angry?"

Maitreya looked calm: "This is not the Buddha, why should I be angry?"

Su Hanshan poured the red wine from the golden Buddha into his mouth.

Kinnara had left Lingshan a long time ago and was in constant contact with Sun Wukong. He also loved wine, so he came over with envy and Su Hanshan gave him half of the wine.

"I am not from the Three Realms, but from the outer world. In my hometown, Buddha was originally just an ancient person with a lot of philosophical ideas. Because his actions had a certain influence, he was used to embellish and develop various things, and was even used by the devil."

"Evil people use it as their own facade to whitewash themselves. Younger generations who have ambitions and respect for Buddha do not want to see this kind of influence being used in a bad way, so they also need to compile new Buddhist scriptures to encourage people to use it in the right way."

"But no matter good or evil, in the end, it is all about using Buddhism to carry one's own ideals. Ha, being able to serve as an introduction that has been passed down through the ages and to carry so many new ideals may be the greatest value of Buddhism."

Su Hanshan smiled and said, "Not just Buddha, any gods, saints, or sages, once passed down and spread widely, it is inevitable that later generations will add their own thoughts to it."

"For Tathagata in this world, since I have lived long enough, it seems that the situation is slightly different from that in other worlds."

"But Tathagata himself is also a complicated person. He not only practices asceticism and cultivates diligently, but also invented the art of great vows. So even if he were alive, one of his actions could be interpreted in thousands of ways by other Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Even he himself cannot say that these views are completely wrong."

"Since he can tolerate so many messy factions, why can't you change the plan he made during his lifetime, which is no longer suitable?"

Miroku was still hesitating.

If they had chosen Su Hanshan's path, even Tongtian Sect Master's party would have been suppressed within three hundred years.

Buddhism no longer has the white lotus that it had collected long ago to offset the black lotus. Those Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who have already entered Nirvana will still remain silent for 333 years and will not be able to have their sentence reduced.

It is basically impossible to survive such a long state of nirvana, and most of the Buddhas in Lingshan will become the price of recovery of the black lotus.

"You underestimated Master Tongtian back then. After he occupied Lingshan, he immediately sent people to search for Maitreya. I'm afraid he saw through your plan, but the Black Lotus really tempted him, and he was not ready to give it up."

Su Hanshan said, "Then, when the Tongtian Sect Master, whom you underestimated, appeared in the battle at Lingshan, was the damage he caused to Lingshan really limited to what you expected?"

Maitreya Buddha sighed and had to admit that he was right.

"besides."

Su Hanshan smiled and added the last straw, "The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who arranged the plan for you have all passed away. Among the existing Buddhists, is there any leader other than you who would approve of your plan?"

"Ji Gong is already the leader of all the Arhats, and he should have noticed your plan, but what did he do?"

"He took you everywhere, directed the pangolin to the tomb of Emperor Mu, tried to implicate Jingwei, took the monk Budai to Dongsheng Shenzhou, tried to help the Eight Immortals, and actively got involved in various major events."

"Do you really have the chance to stay out of it, waiting for Master Tongtian to use the black lotus to cause chaos, and then secretly collect the white lotus yourself?"

I'm showing you a clear path. Not only is it better than your original path, but your original path is simply not feasible!

Su Hanshan did not say the last part, but it seemed like everyone heard it.

"The Dragon-Subduing Master..."

The rosary in Maitreya Bodhisattva's hand stopped and he looked at the little monk with the cloth bag.

The little monk Budai was originally looking at the small fish reflected on the Taiyi Sun with a look of anticipation, and now he was turning his head to look at him.

For the little monk Budai, he only knows that he should help these monks and nuns in the mortal world. This is his mission as the "Future Buddha".

"This is what the Dragon-Subduing Master taught you. I see."

Maitreya Bodhisattva put his palms together and bowed slightly to Su Hanshan, "I am willing to follow the donor's plan."

Su Hanshan stood up, put his palms together, and said with a smile: "Only in this way can you be worthy of being a future Buddhist disciple in the world, chanting Maitreya together and praising the future Buddha."

"I was entrusted with an important task. I had to find a way to neutralize the black lotus as soon as possible and give Buddhism a clean future. Only then can I be called the Future Buddha. I also represent the future that the past Buddhas of Lingshan hoped for."

Maitreya Bodhisattva said, "The future is different now. It feels a little awkward to be called the future Buddha again."

Kinnara clapped his hands and said, "What's the big deal? Just change your name. When I knew they were trying to trick me, I almost wanted to go to Lingshan and change my name to Wu Tian to show them what lawlessness is. But after thinking about it carefully, I realized they couldn't trick me, so I gave up."

Su Hanshan said: "Let those who should have paid their debts pay their debts, this is called responsibility, let those who should have reaped the rewards also reap the rewards, this is called fairness, share the karma and suffer the consequences, each reaps what he sows, and clearly distinguish between gains and losses."

"You are no longer called the Future Buddha, so I will give you a name. May you be as responsible as Mount Sumeru, and treat everyone equally. Good and bad karma will be rewarded, and all karma will be rewarded by the King of Mount Sumeru!"

Kinnara nodded slightly: "Sumeru Mountain King Buddha, it sounds tough enough. If it is really fair, this Buddhist sect will have a clean future."

Su Hanshan raised his hand, and the nine-layered light wheel shrank rapidly and hovered in his palm.

"Three of you, go find the Buddhists first, retrieve the magic power, and set up the formation. I'm going to go out for a while."

Kinnara quickly said, "Are you going to look for the Eight Immortals? I can help."

"It is said that once the Eight Immortals gather together, they will be used specifically to deal with Master Tongtian. Although it seems that the cultivation level of each individual is not particularly high, the other seven immortals also have mystical powers. They have not been caught to this day."

Su Hanshan smiled and said, "Brother Kinnara, you had several of the Seven Immortals around you before?"

Kinnara Bodhisattva nodded and said, "During this period, the other seven immortals were able to gather together often, but without one of them, they could not exert their true divine power. When they were attacked by the strongest, they had to disperse again in order to avoid being surrounded."

"Alas, our group of East Sea immortals are now against the dragon clan, but it is also the same situation. It is difficult to gather enough strength to persist."

Su Hanshan asked, "Brother Kinnara, what do you think is the most critical thing to break the dragon race's great advantage now?"

Kinnara immediately said: "Of course, we have to find a way to deal with the Wuyun Patriarch who is always rushing around and breaking up people, and guard against the elusive Princess Yinyue and others, stand firm and raise the banner..."

"I don't see it that way."

Su Hanshan said, "Even if someone deals with the Five Clouds Patriarch, the Eight Immortals cannot gather together, and everyone will still be stuck in Dongsheng Shenzhou. Tongtian Sect Master will still practice, and Guixu Dragon Emperor will still be content."

"The real key does not lie with those guys like Wuyun Patriarch who are searching everywhere, chasing relentlessly, and encircling and suppressing us, but with Lan Caihe who is trapped in the Dragon Palace in the East China Sea!"

Su Hanshan took a step forward and disappeared.

"So, you guys stay busy here first, I'll go bring Lan Caihe back."
