The world begins with shameless people

Chapter 802: Frank Turns Over

Under the night sky, in the drizzle.

Ian arrived at Trevor's door with a sad face and knocked on it.

This scene is exactly the same as the scene in the original drama when Monica returns home for the first time, Ian breaks down and knocks on Mickey's door crying.

Soon, Trevor opened the door, and seeing Ian's appearance, he immediately frowned in worry, "Ian, what happened?"

Seeing Trevor and hearing Trevor's voice, Ian couldn't hold back his tears and said in a sobbing voice, "I lost a patient. I watched her die in front of me. I promised her that she would be fine..."

Hearing this and looking at Ian's appearance.

"Shit," Trevor exclaimed in shock, and reached out to hug Ian distressed, "Everything will be ok..."

Ian went into the house and was emotionally broken and sad for a long time.

So, what kind of person is Ian Gallagher?
Monica died and Ian was calm, a stranger died and Ian was so sad...

This night is very long.

A new day, morning.

Ian, who had no idea when he fell asleep last night, woke up and immediately thought of what happened last night. His heart ached. Then, he took a deep breath and turned to look at Trevor who was still sleeping next to him. He felt a little better.

After looking at Trevor quietly for a while, Ian retracted his gaze, got out of bed quietly, and prepared to make breakfast for Trevor. At the same time, he silently made up his mind and told himself that what happened last night was a lesson, and he would never lose a second patient again!
Time flies.

Hearing the noise in the kitchen, Trevor woke up, got out of bed and walked to the kitchen door.

Ian saw it and smiled, "You're awake, breakfast is almost ready."

Trevor nodded gently, "Are you okay? You seemed to be pretty badly hit last night."

"Much better, thank you for last night," Ian said with a smile, "that won't happen again."

Trevor thought Ian meant that he would not break down again, so he nodded with some relief, "That's good."

Not long after.

The two chatted, finished their breakfast, and went out to work together.

Arrived at the EMT station.

Seeing Ian, Ian's partner immediately came forward and asked worriedly, "Ian, are you okay? Why don't you take a day off?"

Ian shook his head decisively.

God complex is a terrible thing. I lost a patient last night, how can I rest today?

What if another patient dies because of the rest?

This kind of thinking is very strange, but it is not surprising that Ian, a bipolar patient, has this kind of thinking since he is not normal himself.

"I've recovered, it's okay," Ian replied with a smile.

The partner looked at Ian. To be honest, he didn't quite believe it. But after hesitating for two seconds, he didn't say anything more. "That's good. Let's get to work."

The work of an EMT is still very busy. Most of the time every day, there are various tasks and I have to keep running on the road.

Not long after, Ian and his partner received a mission and hit the road again.

In a blink of an eye, it was already past ten in the morning.

Ian had just delivered a patient to the hospital and got back in the car when he suddenly, uncontrollably, thought of Monica.

Once I thought about it, I couldn't stop.

Memories related to Monica surged wildly.

As time went by, Ian missed Monica more and more, and gradually he felt very sad.

He couldn't explain why. He couldn't stop feeling nostalgic until he got off work in the evening.

So, after work, Ian went straight to the cemetery where Monica was without hesitation, wanting to take a look.

As for what to watch, Ian didn't know.

He just knew that he had to go and take a look.

*******************
Arrived at the cemetery.

From a distance, Ian was very surprised to see Frank sitting in front of Monica's tombstone, moving his mouth and saying something.

Ian was really surprised when he saw Frank for the first time because he hadn't seen him for a long time.

Surprised, Ian subconsciously sped up a little.

Not long after.

As the distance got closer and he could hear clearly what Frank was saying, Ian was shocked again.

There is no other reason.

Frank was actually scolding Monica, "Monica, I've thought a lot over the past month, and I finally figured it out."

"If I hadn't met you back then, my life would definitely be different. It wouldn't have become what it is now."

"You stole my life."

"Because of you, I have become a shameless person..."

Frank kept talking.

Ian came here because he missed Monica, so when he heard this, he couldn't stand it anymore. He took a few quick steps to Frank's side and interrupted, "Frank, what nonsense are you talking about?"

Frank looked up at Ian and said, "It's none of your business."

The fact is, after the emotional breakdown last night, Ian today did not take medicine, and the whole person is indeed different from before. Hearing this, "You shouldn't talk to Monica like this, she is dead! Besides, it's not her fault that you become like this."

Frank was too lazy to talk to Ian.

In fact, Frank really never liked Ian, not even when Ian was a child, before it was revealed that Ian was not Frank's biological son.

"Monica, I'm here today to tell you," Frank ignored Ian and continued to talk to Monica's photo on the tombstone, "I'm going to change. I want to take back the life you stole from me. You've ruined half of my life. This is it!"

Ian listened and felt inexplicably angry. He even had the urge to kick Frank away.

Just then, Frank finished speaking, picked up the half bottle of beer next to him, slowly stood up, looked at Ian again, and then, without saying a word, walked away.

Ian didn't want to talk to Frank either. After Frank walked a little further away, he squatted in front of the tombstone, looked at the photo on the tombstone with a nostalgic expression, and said, "Monica, are you okay..."

"I'm sorry I couldn't be with you before you left..."

"I suddenly miss you very much..."

After chattering for a long while, it was already completely dark, and Ian finally stood up and walked away slowly.

2108 North Wallace Street.

Ian returned home and found Frank sitting on the sofa, watching TV. He ignored him and went straight upstairs to find Debbie. "Debbie, is Monica's stuff still there?"

Debbie was stunned and didn't understand what Ian was saying. "Most of it was thrown away. Maybe there's still a small part in the basement. What's going on?"

"Nothing," Ian shook his head, "I just suddenly thought of Monica and felt that she should be remembered. I'll go look for her in the basement."

After saying that, Ian turned and left.

Debbie was confused. She felt that Ian, who had been normal for so long, seemed to be a little abnormal again. (End of this chapter)
