Su Mei took out a medicine bottle, poured out a pill, and handed it to Lin Gao. "Take it."

Lin Gao took the pill and swallowed it in one gulp.

The medicine took effect quickly and the pain in Lin Gao's body gradually eased.

"Why did you save me?" Lin Gao looked at Su Mei and asked puzzledly.

Su Mei smiled faintly, "Because you are still useful."
