The Medical Classic "Pulse View" says: "No thoughts arise from within, no thoughts enter from without, only I am in control, this is called the primordial spirit."

The spirit originates from the heart. When the heart is inactive, the nature of the primordial spirit will manifest. When the heart is active, the nature of the desire spirit will manifest.
