Chapter 579 Restraint
Xiaomi couldn't stand the awkward atmosphere anymore. After thanking Lu Jingchen, he asked, "Mr. Lu, what a coincidence. I didn't expect to meet you after work. Where did you originally want to go? It's such a smooth ride." After that, She glanced at Jiang Wan meaningfully. Her eyes were looking at her nose, her nose was looking at her heart, and she pretended not to see him.

"I want to go to the nearby supermarket." Lu Jingchen glanced at the rearview mirror and sneered in his heart when he saw her indifferent expression.

What was he expecting? Didn't he already know that she didn't care about him?
"Oh, that's it." Xiaomi rolled her eyes and said, "Mr. Lu, please take me home first. My friend will be here soon, and I have to open the door for her."

Jiang Wan glared at her angrily, but she ignored him.

Fu Jingchen did not object and sent her home according to the route she said.

After Xiaomi left, they were the only two people left in the car, and the atmosphere returned to silence.

Jiang Wan lowered her head and played with her phone to escape, but he played with the car for a while but still didn't drive away. She looked up at him with a confused expression.

His handsome face looked cold in the rearview mirror, he raised his eyelids, and a cold light flashed in his dark pupils, "You think of me as a driver?"

People were under the eaves and had to lower their heads, so Jiang Wan had to get out of the car and sit in the passenger seat.

The rain was so heavy that even though she held an umbrella, her bangs were still a little wet, and the rain flowed down her fair cheeks.

She didn't bring a tissue, so she had to wipe it with the back of her hand.

Fu Jingchen saw it from the corner of his eye, took out a tissue and handed it over. Jiang Wan glanced at him. He didn't speak, and his face was frighteningly cold.

"Thank you." She thanked him softly, took the tissue and put it on her forehead.

After wiping her bangs and the water on her face, she finally felt a little better and breathed a sigh of relief.
Fu Jingchen looked back from the corner of his eye, only to find that he had thrown away the lighter when he took out the tissue. He frowned and bent down to pick it up.

The tall man's figure in her line of sight pressed over her, and bad memories surged out of her mind instantly. She raised her hands in a panic to defend herself, "What, what are you going to do?"

The man's slender and white fingertips reached for the lighter and paused. He picked up the lighter and raised his head, looking at the panic and resistance on her beautiful face, his heart hurt.

Is she just avoiding him so much?
"Get out of the car!" He threw the lighter next to the windshield and said coldly.

When Jiang Wan saw the lighter, she knew she had misunderstood him. She wanted to apologize but couldn't because of his cold expression, so she opened the door and got out of the car.

Fu Jingchen regretted it after saying that. He was so angry when he saw her being so obedient. Why was she disobedient when he asked her to stay with him?He felt mixed with love and hate, and his emotions were surging, but he still reached out and held her wrist.

She was stunned for a moment and looked at him, "Let go."

He pursed his thin lips, pulled her back, and then pressed her down with his tall body.

Jiang Wan retreated in panic until he leaned on the seat and was unable to retreat.

He looked at her uneasy face and sneered, "If I wanted to do something to you, would you resist?"

Jiang Wan's crow-feather eyelashes trembled pitifully and did not speak.

Their faces were so close that his eyes lingered on her cheeks lustfully. Her lips were slightly pale, and he suddenly missed the gorgeous color after the previous kiss.

His throat couldn't help but roll. He lowered his eyelids and sneered coldly, "Stop being so sentimental. Do you think you can still interest me just because of who you are now?" After saying these harsh words, he relaxed. He drove her, sat back in his seat, stepped on the accelerator, turned the steering wheel, and left.

Jiang Wan breathed a sigh of relief and muttered in her heart that it would be better not to, so she would be thankful to God.

No one said anything after that. When they arrived at the place where she lived, she thanked her and opened the car door and got out of the car.

While standing in the rain, she suddenly thought of something. She took out the ointment from her pocket and threw it on the seat. "It's for you." Then she closed the car door and turned around to leave.

Fu Jingchen stared at the ointment in a trance, with complex eyes surging, mixed with joy and sorrow. She...actually bought him the ointment. He was right, and she still had him in her heart.

He held the ointment, his eyes were red, and he looked at her back. He wanted to get out of the car and rush to her side to hold her in his arms, but he was afraid of scaring her, so he could only hold back.

After returning home, Jiang Wan put the umbrella at the door and suddenly thought of a question, how was she going to return the umbrella? She had blocked all his contact information and sent it to the company?

It seems that this is the only way to go.

She sighed, walked to the window, opened the curtains and looked down. He hadn't left yet, and she didn't know what he was thinking about.
