Chapter 2740 Sea Pirates

Chapter 2740 Sea Pirates (Third Update, Please Subscribe)

In the Persian Gulf, the sun shines brightly on the sea, the azure water shimmers, and the sea breeze gently blows the waves, lapping against the hull of the destroyer.

In the bridge command room of the destroyer "Yonghe", Captain Lin Jiade issued orders to all crew members:
"Attention all personnel, in accordance with the official residence's orders, we will strictly enforce the judgment of the Chang'an District Court, intercept all oil tankers departing from Iranian ports, and after taking control of the tankers, order them to sail to designated ports."

The order was issued directly from the official residence, and the corresponding executive order was issued an hour after the court verdict—effective immediately, all oil tankers departing from Iranian ports would be detained.

The task of monitoring Iranian ports and oil tankers will naturally be the responsibility of early warning aircraft, while SEA warships in the Persian Gulf will be responsible for carrying out this task.

Although the SEA is conducting military operations in Lebanon and Cambodia, contrary to popular belief, nearly a third of the SEA's naval forces are actually located in the Persian Gulf region.

This is to prevent Iran from seizing offshore oil drilling platforms; in reality, it's a military patrol.

This kind of thing was very common in the nineteenth century.

After World War II... such displays of force became rare.

They've even been forgotten.

After giving the order, Lin Jiade turned to look at the vice-captain Ma Tianfei beside him:
"Notify the assault team to prepare for interception immediately upon discovery of any suspicious oil tanker."

"Yes, Captain."

Ma Tianfei immediately turned around and relayed the order. After the order was given, various preparations began. The task of seizing the oil tanker was assigned to the naval commando team on board. Because SEA is an island nation, each destroyer was equipped with a naval commando team.

These commandos have all undergone extremely rigorous amphibious training and are capable of carrying out naval and air assault missions. Carrying out such missions is a piece of cake for them.

After all, it's common knowledge that merchant ships don't carry weapons.

Lin Jiade walked to the porthole and silently gazed at the sea. At this moment, the first mate walked up to him and said:

"We just received instructions that in one hour, law enforcement officers dispatched by the court will board the ship by helicopter. The officers will cooperate with our operation..."

"So fast..."

Lin Jiade smiled and said:
"Do you think they really flew in from Chang'an?"

Lin Jiade's question made Ma Tianfei laugh out loud:

"Haha, that's obviously impossible. They must have been waiting in Strait City long ago, just waiting for the court's verdict."

"Ah."

Lin Jiade nodded, his tone tinged with worry:
"Our operation, which appears to be an enforcement of a court ruling, is actually involved in complex contradictions between the US and Iran. We only began to intervene in this crisis after speaking with the White House from the Prime Minister's residence. If we are not careful, it could escalate the conflict."

Although he had some concerns, as a naval captain, obeying orders was his duty, and he had to ensure the success of the operation no matter what risks he faced.

An hour later, the helicopter transported the two law enforcement officers to the ship. Both officers had military service experience, so they were no strangers to rappelling missions.

They even prepared bulletproof vests and AR15 carbines; the bulletproof vests even had "COP" written on them, which means police.

This is to distinguish military personnel and to indicate that this is a law enforcement operation in accordance with relevant procedures.

At 2:10 PM, the early warning aircraft issued a report:
"Captain, target spotted! An oil tanker, a VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier), has sailed out from the direction of Bandar Abbas, Iran. It matches the list of pledged oil tankers provided by the court perfectly and is currently sailing towards the central Persian Gulf at a speed of 12 knots."

"Excellent, target locked, full speed ahead!"

Lin Jiade immediately issued the order:
"Notify the helicopter squadron to prepare for takeoff. Once they reach the target area, they will immediately conduct an airdrop and take control of the tanker's deck. Accompanying law enforcement officer Dai Chengen should be prepared to proceed with the appropriate procedures after the assault team has taken control of the deck."

"Roger that!"

The instructions were quickly relayed, and the Yonghe destroyer's gas turbines were fully powered up, propelling it at full speed toward the target tanker. The ship cut through the sea, creating two long white sprays.

On the helicopter deck, the "Seahawk" helicopter started its engine, the propellers spun at high speed, stirring up gusts of wind, and then slowly took off, flying towards the target oil tanker. The naval commando members sitting at the hatch gripped their guns tightly, their eyes watching the sea below warily.

Twenty minutes later, the destroyer arrived at the target area. At this time, the oil tanker was sailing on the high seas. The destroyer maintained a distance of 100 meters from the oil tanker and used its loudspeaker system to issue a warning to the Iranian oil tanker:

"Iranian oil tanker, this is the SEA Navy destroyer 'Yonghe'. We are under orders to execute a judgment by the Chang'an District Court. Please stop immediately for inspection, or we will take coercive measures. Repeat, please stop immediately!" Onboard the oil tanker, Iranian Captain Mohammad Reza, standing on the bridge, changed his expression upon hearing the warning and immediately gave the order:

"Speed up, try to get rid of them!"

He knew that even if the tanker went at full speed, it would not escape the pursuit of the destroyer. However, if he did not react and allowed the SEA Navy to intercept it, the tanker would be taken back, and he would not be able to explain it to the company. At that time, he and his crew might be sent to court and hanged.

Therefore, symbolic resistance must still be carried out.

"It seems they don't want to cooperate,"

Lin Jiade's lips curled up, and he commanded:

"Notify the helicopter squadron to immediately conduct an airdrop and forcibly take control of the deck."

Two helicopters in the air rapidly approached the oil tanker and hovered 10 meters above the tanker's deck.

"action!"

At the command of the assault team leader on the helicopter, the team members grabbed the ropes, quickly rappelled down, and landed steadily on the deck of the oil tanker. The moment they landed, they immediately dispersed, armed with their weapons, and vigilantly scanned every corner of the deck, quickly taking control of the key positions on the deck.

Upon seeing this, the Iranian crew members on deck immediately picked up tools and tried to resist, but they were quickly subdued by the commando team. The team members were efficient and well-trained, and within a few minutes, they had completely taken control of the entire deck without causing any casualties.

Subsequently, the assault team leader reported to the ship via communication equipment:
"Captain, the tanker is under control. All Iranian crew members have been subdued. There are no casualties. Please provide further instructions."

“Very good. Notify the law enforcement officers to board the tanker immediately, present the judgment to the Iranian captain, and demand his cooperation in the handover.”

Lin Jiade said.

A few minutes later, law enforcement officer Dai Chengen and his colleagues, escorted by two commando members, boarded the Iranian oil tanker and went to the bridge.

At this moment, Muhammad Reza was being guarded by two commando members. Like the other crew members, he looked angry and resentful. Upon seeing Dai Chengen, he gritted his teeth and said:

“You have no right to intercept our oil tankers. This is Iranian property. This is illegal plunder! It is typical piracy.”

Faced with such accusations, Dai Chengen remained calm, ignoring his anger. He took out the court judgment from his breast pocket, handed it to him, and said in a serious tone:
"Captain, I am Dai Chengen, an enforcement officer from the SEA. This is a legally binding judgment from the Chang'an District Court, which clearly states that the National Iranian Oil Company has defaulted on its bank loan, and the bank has the right to reclaim this oil tanker, which is being used as collateral."

He pointed to a key clause in the judgment and continued to explain:
"We are not illegally looting, but enforcing a judgment in accordance with the law. Please cooperate with our work immediately, order the tanker to stop sailing, hand over control of the vessel, and notify all crew members to cooperate with the evacuation. Otherwise, we will take further measures in accordance with the law."

Looking at the contents of the judgment, although he knew it was nothing more than brute force, Mohammed Reza knew very well that resistance was meaningless. After all, the SEA Navy was powerful and held a legitimate judgment, which he was powerless to resist.

He slowly lowered his head, remained silent for a moment, and then slowly spoke, his voice hoarse:
"I will cooperate with you... but I demand that the safety of my crew be guaranteed."

"Of course, Captain, you and your crew will be released after you reach your destination and can then return to Iran via a third country."

Subsequently, Mohammed Reza ordered the tanker to stop sailing, handed over control of the vessel, and notified all crew members to assemble on deck for evacuation.

The accompanying naval officer immediately reported the situation to the captain, and Lin Jiade then gave the following order:
"Dispatch crew members to board the oil tanker, take over the helm, and sail the tanker to the designated sea area to await the arrival of bank personnel; properly settle the Iranian crew members, ensure their personal safety, and refrain from any excessive behavior."

Thus, in the Persian Gulf, an Iranian supertanker was seized, marking the beginning of the strikes against Iran.

Meanwhile, the interception was captured on camera and quickly broadcast on television stations around the world. The entire world witnessed how the SEA Navy cooperated with law enforcement agencies to execute a flawless collateral recovery operation.

We also saw the destroyer "Yonghe" escorting the recovered Iranian oil tanker on the Persian Gulf, slowly sailing towards the designated port, where the oil tanker will be screened to determine whether it is the oil tanker listed on the court's list.

To prevent the National Iranian Oil Company from changing the names of its tankers to create "ghost tankers," the Prime Minister's Office authorized the Navy to intercept them, then escort them to a port of detention, where a specialized department would then verify their identities.

This is why the navy can intercept all oil tankers leaving Iranian ports. On this day, seven oil tankers were intercepted at sea, not only in the Persian Gulf, but also in the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, and even ports in Europe and the United States.

When this news was reported, everyone knew that this operation, though described as a SEA law enforcement action, was more of a direct strike against Iran.

Direct and deadly.
