Chapter 88 Remarks on the launch

After more than 40 days of writing and nearly 200,000 words, this book is finally on the shelves.

In fact, I started this book purely by chance.

One day, I suddenly thought of the story "Dream Wolf" in Liaozhai, so I started working on it and wrote the first two chapters in one go. I felt satisfied and then published it.

There are only two chapters in the manuscript. It is the most unprepared time in all the years of writing a book.

But it was the smoothest I’ve ever written.

As an old author, times have changed, which is commonly known as "passing the wind". I often feel unable to grasp the changes in likes and dislikes of the times and feel powerless.

To paraphrase lines from movies and TV shows: The world has changed...

In order not to be eliminated, and because of the pressure of life, what I can do is to try my best to keep up with the times, seek innovation and changes, and see if I can write more popular works.

After publishing the book, I felt quite uneasy: after all, it has a four-character title, a traditional introduction, does not open the system, has no panel to add points, and is an ancient cultivation setting...

No matter how you look at it, it seems out of place, and it is difficult to gain popularity and traffic.

That is, fighting on the street.

Fortunately, with the updates day by day, the results have been getting better, and I have successfully completed the four rounds of recommendations, including Xiao Trumpet Sanjiang and so on. It can be called a one-stop service for new books.

The first peak of this book's performance is the chapters at the end of the first main plot, which is about 100,000 words long, written about "Big Orange".

At that time, there were only about 10,000 collections, but it was unexpected to have more than 4,000 readers.

This proves that when writing a book, you mainly need to look at the story, the plot, and the growth of the characters...

However, when I have achieved certain results, I feel at a loss, worrying about gains and losses. I am afraid that my writing will be messed up or wrong, which will lead to the decline of my grades, and I feel like crying without tears.

It's really contradictory. I couldn't write code quickly at first, but now it was even more difficult, and I even got so impatient that I developed oral ulcers.

In fact, the main frame, general background, and various settings are basically relatively complete. I have learned from past lessons and want to write a real full-length novel.

But when it comes to implementation, it is not easy to write every chapter with spirit and hook.

No matter what, since the book was first published, two chapters have been updated every day. There has never been a shortage or a leave of absence. I can still explain this to myself.

Then when it comes to actually putting it on the shelves, that is, when it comes time to see the real story, whether it is a mule or a horse, it has to be pulled out for a ride.

What can I say?

I can only recite it piously and silently, and ask for a genuine subscription.

Old book friends who have studied in the Southern Dynasties all know that my writing style and habits prefer self-expression, that is, I integrate some of my own experiences into the plot and then write it out.

Just like the protagonist of this book, he became famous at a young age, but failed to cultivate immortality and was forced to go down the mountain, which is equivalent to hitting rock bottom.

But his original intention remained unchanged, that is, he wanted to return to the mountain!

Therefore, whether we can turn around and get out of this predicament can only rely on the genuine support of all the book friends.
