Create a world of low martial arts from ancient times

Chapter 611: There is no such thing as a permanent certificate

Chapter 611: No Evidence Can Last Forever (Rework Completed)

In the ordinary world of immortal cultivation, the creation of a Taoist method must be the result of the efforts of several generations.

But this is the primitive time, and immortality is within reach, so one can spend a long time creating a method, and then spend a long time revising this method, ultimately bringing it to the perfection that one expects.

This process may take tens of thousands of years, or even hundreds of thousands or millions of years.

But for the creatures in the ancient times, this period of time is nothing at all. It just passes in the blink of an eye.

But maintaining thinking for such a long time is a kind of "torture" for many creatures.

Thinking for a long time is sometimes more strenuous than using the physical body, especially when it is done physically, it is even more exhausting and mentally taxing. It is a difficult task even for creatures who have become true immortals.

But for Luo Zu, who was used to thinking, it was an easy thing to do. He was even fascinated by it. This was not only because his own soul created a corresponding happy emotional feedback for him, but also because he really liked this kind of thinking.

He never stopped thinking like this, not even for a moment.

So in fact, the "lifespan" of Luo Zu, who is only 45,820 years old now, may be comparable to tens of millions of years for the creatures in the prehistoric world...

In addition, Luo Zu himself is "extraordinarily gifted" and has many brains in his soul, so his thinking time can be doubled. One billion is not enough, and one hundred billion years is the minimum.

It’s just that the creatures in the ancient times don’t like to think, or it’s their nature or the influence of the environment, which makes them have little sense of crisis. They won’t climb up at all costs for the sake of progress, and they are unwilling to do such basic things as thinking.

Luo Zu, due to the inertia of his previous life and the fact that the human race was very different from other prehistoric creatures, although their lifespan was not short, they would not fall into a long hibernation. Under such conditions, Luo Zu made rapid progress and his practice improved by leaps and bounds.

Under his leadership, the people of the Upper Cave made repeated breakthroughs, and the number of people who achieved success in their practice increased day by day.

Up to now, although there are some "aliens" among the human race that are similar to the ancient humans, in general, there are still more normal humans.

Therefore, the number of true immortals and celestial immortals among the people in the Shangding Cave is increasing day by day, but cultivation still requires a lot of understanding and some opportunities, and it becomes more and more difficult as time goes on. Don’t you see that Luo Zu has been stuck in the Golden Immortal realm for tens of thousands of years?

Thinking of this, Luo Zu vaguely gathered a trace of the thoughts of all human beings.

"The general trend...the destiny..."

Because of observation, because of knowing, because of existence.

So own it, so accept it, so understand it.

What exactly is the Tao and what is the purpose of practicing?

Luo Zu suddenly fell into confusion in this enlightenment.

What followed was a classic prophecy he had memorized in his previous life: Mountains are mountains, water is water...

He once thought that he had passed the state of seeing mountains as still mountains and water as still water, but now he seemed to be in a trance and thought that he had actually returned to the state of seeing mountains as still mountains and water as still water.

Philosophical debates are not permanent. As people change with the world and the worldview, their previous worldviews will naturally change as well. Once they change fundamentally, their own position and their own views on everything will also change. How can a mountain still be a mountain?
Even if the essence remains the same, the process of pursuit may have changed.

Think about it.

The world keeps changing, but no matter how it changes, you just need to remain the same.

Does it matter whether the mountain is a mountain or not at that time?
important.

Not important either.

Luo Zu soon discovered that he was stuck in a vicious circle of thinking. All his deductive abilities were trapped in this vicious cycle and he could not break free and could not come up with more valuable thoughts.

"Calamity and fortune are one and the same. When fortune comes, calamity comes too. This is when disaster comes." Luo Zu said dimly.

The cave is narrow and filled with mysterious disasters.

Good fortune cannot overcome disasters, and disasters cannot destroy good fortune. But Luo Zu remembered another saying: "Recite morality in silence."

Or take refuge in one's own morality.

How to cultivate morality? Where to find morality?
Although it is difficult to find, Luo Zu knows clearly in his heart: "It is far away in the sky and close at hand."

Tao Te Ching, three thousand words, is right beside you.

He once sneered at Him, but now he thinks he is the clown.

The boomerang was quite fast and caught him off guard.

Take the current "authentic" Tao Te Ching, place it on your knees, and read it carefully.

In the Tao Te Ching, one thought of morality lasts for three thousand years, and now it is forty-nine thousand years.

"How to study morality?" Luo Zu still didn't understand.

"Ah."

As soon as he muttered, a voice sounded beside him.

Yes, He is listening carefully; He is still watching over him.

"Ding Daoist friend, what is the meaning of this smile?" Luo Zu asked.

“Why do you recite the Tao Te Ching?”

"These are the words of a saint. What's wrong with thinking about them?" Luo Zu asked back.

Di Ting was choked by this and could not speak for a long time, but Luo Zu did not attack him verbally again, nor did he think about his own practice. He just waited quietly for his subsequent reaction.

"The words of the sages have profound meanings, so the sages are not wrong, but the readers are wrong." Di Ting said.

"Oh? Fellow Daoist Di Ting, do you want to debate?" Luo Zu smiled.

Di Ting was choked again, but this time he did not think for too long before answering: "Why bother arguing about the sutras? What's the point?"

He said this because he was deeply troubled.

In fact, debates occur everywhere; they are just a form of discussion. There are also debates in the Heavenly Palace. At the court meeting held once every ten thousand years, the Emperor Donghuang of Heaven would always give lectures and teach the Dharma. The others would listen, and then express their own views, and then debate with other colleagues.

There are always differences in the ways, and differences make it difficult to reconcile, so the debates are naturally fierce. Sometimes they even go directly to the ancient starry sky to fight, and this is witnessed by the Emperor of Heaven Donghuang.

"The Chan and Jie sects are debating on the scriptures now. Why don't you talk to them about the Tao Te Ching?" Di Ting suddenly changed the topic.

"How do you know, fellow Taoist, that they don't know the Tao Te Ching?" Luo Zu smiled.

He would not do such a thankless task. It would be problematic to help any family. He finally had a chance to retreat, so how could he get involved in it and cause trouble? He would be in trouble both inside and outside. It was possible that he would be driven out of Kunlun Mountain first.

The Tao Te Ching had actually been passed down a long time ago, and people from both the orthodox and unorthodox schools had read it, but at the time, Luo Zu believed that this sutra only had the effect of calming the mind, and was even not as good as the Great Pure Heart Sutra. But looking at it again now, this sutra has its own mysteries.

To truly understand this sutra may require some luck and understanding.

“The profound meaning of words should not be underestimated.” Luo Zuyi gradually relaxed. He stopped sitting cross-legged and lay on his side on the Huangshi bed.

After hearing what he said, Di stopped talking to him and his figure gradually faded away.

He does have some grudges against the Heavenly Court now, but they are not very deep, so he often comes to Luo Zu to discuss the Dao, unlike before when he only monitored and did not care about anything else.
