The manic trait formed a gray light, constructing a cocoon for Naoko, enveloping her within it, which contained traces of blood-red power, a blessing from the "Nurturing" trait.

For Naoko, this was practically a complete 'transformation'.

Her soul is breaking down the barrier that prevents "traits" from merging.

Wu Heng placed his hand on the cocoon and felt the intense energy fluctuations within. Naoko was undergoing a transformation more painful than hellish torture. Every second, countless voices tempted her to give up, but the cocoon remained stable, like a stubborn heart.

"Sleep." Wu Heng's gaze shifted, and a beam of gray light shone down from the core of fear suspended high in the sky, illuminating the mottled hellish soil, where a crack appeared in the deepest part of the ground.

Countless pale arms reached out from the gaps and gently took the gray cocoon.

"Once you gain insight through suffering, I look forward to seeing a completely new perspective."

Wu Heng's words came to an abrupt end.

In the final moments before the gray cocoon sank into the depths of hell, he sensed something solidifying deep within Naoko's consciousness. It was neither Lucifer's fall nor his fear, but a purer, extremely faint will.

As Wu Heng stood in the now-silent hell, a line of bloody tears suddenly appeared on the goat skull tattoo on his body; it was not a physical tear.

Wu Heng thoughtfully wiped away the bloodstains: "It seems you also sensed it; is this a case of the rabbit mourning the fox's death?"

He looked toward the hell of terror, where a church-like building was being rebuilt. On the site of Lucifer's former temple, a black obsidian spire with silver and black patterns was breaking through the ground.

“Interesting.” Wu Heng’s chuckle resonated with the wails of hell, as countless monks and demons rejoiced at his delight. “So this is the true nature of depravity.”

Wu Heng stood in front of the newly built obsidian spire, his fingertips tracing the silver-black patterns on the spire's surface.

The lines writhed like living things, and the moment they touched his fingertips, they emitted a dark red halo, like a shy maiden.

Something is changing in the entire hell of terror. After Naoko merges into the depths of hell, she is experiencing endless pain and unconsciously reconstructing some of the rules.

However, Wu Heng didn't care.

The various changes in Ren Sandao's traits can at most alter the internal environment and rules of Hell, but cannot destroy its outer shell, just like fish in a water tank.

Even if they stir up the water and break up the pebbles at the bottom of the tank, they are still inside the tank and do not have the ability to break the tank.

"My lord!"

A fear monk knelt on the ground, its gray shell covered with silver veins. It was none other than Hildan, the former police chief of Silent Hill and the great demon of Silent Hill Hell.

"The blood and flesh swamp in Silent Hill has begun to solidify!"

Wu Heng looked up and the scene beneath his feet instantly changed, transporting him to another space—the hellish territory of Silent Hill.

The land, which was originally a bloody mess of demonic remains, is now solidifying into a mirror-like surface.

Even more bizarrely, the mirror did not reflect a scene of hell, but rather countless afterimages of Naoko. Some of them were crying, some were smiling, and some were stabbing daggers into their own eye sockets.

"Have Yulis and the others guard this place." Wu Heng's right eye reflected the core of hell, and flames erupted from the core. Instantly, the place in front of him, which had undergone a mirror reaction, was enveloped by a black flame with no temperature.

"There are many changes in Hell now. Kill any creature that has mutated by relying on the power of those three beams of light."

As Wu Heng turned around, the goat skull tattoo on his left shoulder suddenly emitted a gray wave, conveying the meaning of the goat-man demon: "You're scared. That girl is devouring your hell!" Wu Heng did not answer.

He tore through the ground and descended directly into the depths of hell, a place that should have been utterly dark, but was now filled with countless silver-black specks of light.

Naoko's gray cocoon floated in the center, its surface already semi-transparent, and a human figure could be vaguely seen curled up inside.

Even more unsettling was the fact that the cocoon was surrounded by three rings of incantations. The innermost layer was Lucifer's fallen angel language, the middle layer was Wu Heng's manic incantation, and the outermost layer was a kind of silver-black script that even he could only recognize a little of.

That is a derivative of the "degenerate" quality.

"What did you feel?" Wu Heng placed his palm on the cocoon and was suddenly pulled into a hallucination:
Naoko stood in the silver-black space, her bare feet treading on Lucifer's shattered crown.

The ends of her silver hair had turned black. She held a spear made of special energy in her right hand, while her left hand held a ball of warm orange flame.

What's most striking is her eyes; her left eye has Lucifer's gray-white vertical pupil, while her right eye has the timid look of a young girl.

You can even see the look of fear and helplessness in his eyes when you first met him, next to the trash can outside the Moriya main building in Kuromatsu Street, Japan.

The illusion suddenly shattered.

Suddenly, a thin crack appeared on the surface of the gray cocoon, and a drop of silvery-black liquid fell onto the back of Wu Heng's hand, instantly corroding it and causing a penetrating wound.

Wu Heng discovered that this drop of liquid contained some kind of attribute that could harm the Lord of Hell. There was only one possibility for this to be possible: it was a "special" power of the same level.

Even though Naoko has extremely high authority, Wu Heng is the absolute controller of the "manic" trait, and it is absolutely impossible for him to achieve this.

Therefore, there is only one possibility: this belongs to the power of "corruption".

Outside in Hell, the physical structure belonging to Satan was causing trouble again. Wu Heng stepped out and moved to the anomaly point, where he saw Satan's black pool boiling.

This "arrogance" trait, which should have been completely suppressed, was now devouring the nearby fearful monks and blood-fiber demons.

The monks who were devoured did not die, but instead turned into semi-liquid monsters, with Satan's signature scarlet runes constantly appearing on their bodies.

"You think you can rest easy just by locking us up!" The black-scaled python tattoo on Wu Heng's right chest twitched. "That stupid girl opened a door!"

Satan's will was also transmitted through the fluctuations.

Wu Heng saw that the image of Naoko's gray cocoon was reflected in the eyes of these corrupted monks.

The corrupting influence is exploiting Naoko's connection to the core of hell, attempting to erode her in the opposite direction. The goat's head tattoo on her left shoulder is also starting to stir, and the false influence is seeping out as green mist from her skin.

"Perhaps you are truly limited by this world. Naoko may be an existence on the same level as you, or even have a stronger will."

"After all, she was just an ordinary person, the kind of fragile and ignorant human being you see."

"What makes you think that Lucifer's will can turn against her?"

"I believe her." (End of Chapter)
