Chapter 1100 Capturing the 'Key'

Their eyes were vacant and lifeless, and they staggered forward as if sleepwalking, being led step by step into the villa by the possessed man.

Inside the villa, the faint sounds of loud music and indistinct shouts of revelry could be heard. The light coming through the windows was not the normal warm yellow or incandescent light, but an ominous dark red, like congealed blood, as if a dark party was being held.

Eleanor covered her mouth tightly, her body trembling violently, her eyes filled with fear and anger, tears welling up again. She lowered her voice, her tone choked with sobs and hatred, and said to Wu Heng:
"Those people who were tied up are Uncle Robert and Aunt Lillian, they're all neighbors! What did that monster do to them?!"

She pointed to the villa, which resembled a den of demons, her voice faltering with fear:
"The sounds inside are wrong. The lights are wrong too; it's not usually like this! What are they doing in my house?!"

Before Eleanor could finish speaking, another, even more chilling scene confirmed her fear.

Whoosh--!

A solid black mist, like a shooting star, streaked across the night sky from another direction, vaguely enveloping the figures of two women struggling and screaming in despair.

Their pajamas were tattered, their skin was pink from the wind, they had even lost control of their bladders, and their legs were stained with yellow grime.

The black mist struck precisely a magnificent stained-glass window on the second floor of the villa!

Bang!

The glass shattered instantly, and in the instant the window was flung open, the sound waves that had been isolated inside the villa surged out like a flood bursting its banks.

Amidst the deafening, distorted, and frenzied rock music, there were joyful, heart-wrenching screams of humans, as well as the excited roars and maniacal laughter of demons.

The sound, leaked for only a moment, was enough to freeze one's blood.

The window was then sealed shut by an invisible force, locking the terrifying sound that had leaked out back inside, but that fleeting glimpse and that desperate voice were already deeply etched into Eleanor's mind.

She covered her ears tightly with both hands, her body trembling like a leaf in the wind.

The vehicle was now close to the gate of the villa.

The dark red light emanating from inside the door seemed like an evil eye, coldly watching the uninvited guest. Instinctively, fear made Eleanor instinctively step on the brakes, wanting to stop this suicidal approach.

"Don't stop." Wu Heng's icy voice rang in her ear, completely devoid of emotion. "Break in."

"What?!" Eleanor thought she had misheard and looked at Wu Heng in the passenger seat in horror.

“Break in.” Wu Heng repeated, his eyes not even looking at her, but calmly staring at the door that was getting closer and closer, like the entrance to hell. “It’s the simplest way.”

Eleanor was torn between her inner demons and her own mind; extreme fear was threatening to overwhelm her.

But when she caught a glimpse of Wu Heng's calm profile out of the corner of her eye, and the silent butler in the rearview mirror who seemed like the embodiment of death, a blind trust born of despair suddenly overwhelmed her fear.

She screamed, not out of fear, but to vent her almost exploding emotions, and slammed the accelerator to the floor.

The dilapidated sedan roared under its own weight, the engine revving to redline in an instant, and like a wild horse, it slammed into the heavy oak gate. Just as the front of the car was about to make contact with the gate, a loud 'bang' rang out.

An invisible yet immensely cold pressure instantly enveloped the entire vehicle!
Eleanor felt as if she had crashed into an extremely viscous yet indestructible gel, but the violent impact and the scene of the car body shattering that she had expected did not occur.

Instead, it's a bizarre embedding!

The metal at the front of the car emitted a teeth-grinding, twisting groan as it dented deeply into the broken door panel, but the impact was perfectly neutralized and absorbed by the invisible dampness.

The car didn't even feel any major vibrations.

What horrified Eleanor even more was that her gaze was rapidly rising, as if she were being lifted into the air. She looked out the car window in terror and saw several thick, ferocious tentacles made of flesh and metal brutally tearing through the roof and doors, growing and extending upwards like the roots of a giant tree.

Her dilapidated car was being supported by these terrifying tentacles, lifted four or five meters off the ground, like a deformed watchtower.

From this eerie, high vantage point, the view of the first floor of the villa was completely exposed to her.

This is no luxury villa party; it's a bloody slaughterhouse, a hellish scene of decadent revelry!
Under the dim red light, the once exquisite furniture was smashed to pieces, and the expensive carpet was stained beyond recognition by congealed blood and unknown filth. Dozens of "people" with pitch-black pupils, dressed in suits but unable to conceal their sinister aura, or rather, bodies possessed by demons, were twisting and dancing wildly. Their dance steps were frantic, their bodies covered in blood and filth, making them look like complete madmen.

Their 'toys' and 'food' are the abducted, still-living humans.

Eleanor saw the neighbors who had been brought in by ropes earlier; they were now like broken dolls, being pulled and toyed with at will by the demons.

Their screams were drowned out by the deafening music; some were being used as ropes by the demons in a tug-of-war, their arms making a sickening dislocation sound.

Its screams were drowned out by the deafening music;
A girl is pinned to a dining table while a demon carves blasphemous symbols on her body with a knife, runes meant to prevent her from dying prematurely.

During the carving process, a strip of meat was torn off every now and then.

Its screams were drowned out by the deafening music;
Further away, one can even see mutilated limbs carelessly discarded, like chewed-up stewed bones at a banquet.
The pungent stench of blood, the malevolent stench of sulfur, and the despair of humanity mingled together, creating a nauseatingly terrifying atmosphere.

But they were dressed in suits, gleefully enjoying this scene of pain and despair.

To truly build one's joy upon the suffering of others.

Wu Heng's cold voice rang out again, full of undisguised sarcasm: "Wearing human skin can't hide the maggot nature in your bones. What an inefficient and noisy way of eating."

His words seemed to be a signal.

The silent butler of death, who had been following along, and the evil spirit puppet supporting the car, had their tentacles completely torn apart from the car body, revealing more of their true forms, and they moved at the same time!
No warnings, no nonsense, just the most direct killing.

The Grim Reaper's butler, like a phantom blending into the shadows, appeared instantly behind a demon who was raising a bottle and pouring the thick, red liquid inside onto his face, his withered hand silently pressing against the demon's back.

The demon's body stiffened abruptly, the darkness in its eyes rapidly fading, replaced by a lifeless, withered grayness. It collapsed straight down, its body turning into a pile of sparks like dried-out wood. (End of Chapter)
