When stimulated, the light cluster struggles more intensely, and its internal structure becomes more active and loose, making it easier to separate. The entire process requires precise control.

Too much energy will cause the sample to collapse, while too little energy will render it invalid.

Soon, the energy inside began to boil continuously.

"It's time for the second step: polarity separation."

Then the magnetic field generator formed by the tentacles was activated, producing a force field with a specific 'polarity' for the angel's energy.

Within the ball of light, some of the more dazzling, aggressive, and exclusive 'core holy power' was repelled by the force field and gathered to one side; while other relatively mild 'derived holy power' with 'faith resonance' characteristics separated to the other side.

It's similar to oil-water separation, but much more refined.

"Continue the removal of impurities."

Wu Heng murmured to himself and continued to use the miniature energy vortex generated by the tip of his tentacles to carefully extract the 'core holy power' that still contained the power and will of the angel after being separated.

This restless and dangerous energy was temporarily sealed within a temporarily constructed sphere of dark energy.

The remaining part is a relatively pure energy liquid, closer to the sacred origin.

Then, it continued to concentrate and refine, with multiple tentacles forming a complex nested rune array to pressurize the relatively pure energy liquid and heat it with a simulated low-temperature holy flame. The material being burned was the restless, turbulent portion containing the will of the angels.

Next, energy particle-level filtration continues.

During the process, extremely small and unstable amounts of energy are constantly being released and eliminated. The volume of the energy liquid shrinks at a visible rate, and its color gradually changes from bright white to a more subtle and viscous milky white.

Once this step is completed, the final stabilization process will begin.

By adding a trace of extremely pure negative energy refined by Wu Heng himself as a 'stabilizer', using the method of fighting poison with poison, a dangerous balance is achieved to prevent the pure holy power from naturally dissipating after leaving the specific environment.

The whole process was full of balance and contradictions, like dancing on a knife's edge.

Half an hour later, all the tentacles and tools retracted instantly.

Wu Heng held another small crystal test tube in his hand, containing a viscous liquid, about one-tenth the volume of the original sample, that emitted a soft, milky-white glow, like concentrated honey.

He opened the door and gestured to the two brothers who were sitting restlessly in the living room.

The two people immediately came in, staring curiously at the small test tube in his hand.

"Is this what you meant by 'purified'?" Sam asked.

“Hmm, about one-tenth of the effective extract.” Wu Heng shook the test tube. “The remaining energy was either lost during the separation and purification process or removed as impurities.”

He looked at the two of them and asked directly, "Do you have any desire to become stronger?"

Dean replied without hesitation:
"Of course I would. Who wants to be a pushover who gets chased by monsters all the time?" But he paused and added, "However, I don't want to become a monster with glowing eyes or pale skin."

Sam nodded in agreement, remaining wary of the demonic blood within him.

Wu Heng said calmly, "You've only gained some power; it won't change your essence. After all, the raw materials are limited, and the purified power is insignificant to true supernatural beings."

His gaze fell on Sam: "You have the blood of the Yellow-Eyed Demon within you, which is inherently in conflict with this holy power. Forcibly fusing with it could lead to an energy explosion or unpredictable mutations, so it's not suitable for you." Then he looked at Dean: "You are relatively clean. This thing won't let you fly or teleport, but it might make your fists harder and your blades faster when facing dark creatures, and even give your attacks an additional 'purifying' effect on them."

Dean's eyes lit up: "Like having a built-in holy water enchantment?"

“Something stronger than that, like completely killing a demon, might give your weapon the power of this demon dagger. Of course, it might be a little weaker, but you don’t have to be limited to just weapons.”

"Let's do it! Of course we have to have something like this!" Dean said excitedly.

Wu Heng tossed the test tube to Dean: "Drink it."

Dean took the test tube, looked at the viscous, milky-white liquid inside, and his expression became somewhat strange. He muttered under his breath, "...The color and texture are fucking similar."

He subconsciously leaned closer to smell it, but found that there was no scent at all, as if the light and shape were independent, and immediately breathed a sigh of relief.

Thank goodness it wasn't.
If it really has any flavor, he really has to ask Wu Heng which part of the angel it's extracted from.

Dean tilted his head back and poured the viscous liquid into his mouth. Surprisingly, it wasn't sticky as he had imagined. Instead, it felt like a warm liquid that slid down his throat instantly.

He smacked his lips, carefully examining it: "...No taste? No feeling at all? Lor, are you sure this thing isn't expired?"

Wu Heng said calmly, "The human body is a fragile container that needs time to adapt and absorb. The previous enhancement was too violent, so I adjusted its release rate. Just like food needs to be digested and absorbed, it needs to be slowly integrated. Take a nap, and you will feel the changes tomorrow morning."

Silent all night.

The next morning, Dean was awakened by an extreme feeling of unease.

He felt sticky all over, as if he were wrapped in a thick layer of greasy grime, and even the sheets beneath him were stuck tightly to his skin.

He struggled to sit up, turned on the light, and was immediately startled by his own reaction.

The exposed skin was covered with a layer of grayish-black, viscous substance that emitted a faint fishy smell.

"Damn it, what the hell!" He cursed as he rushed into the bathroom, and it took him a full half hour to wash off all the grime.

After drying himself off, Dean stood in front of the mirror and was stunned. Although his skin tone hadn't turned white, remaining the healthy yellowish-white that often exposed to wind and sun, the texture of his skin had changed noticeably.

The scars from his past demon-hunting career seemed to have faded somewhat, and his skin appeared firmer, more elastic, and even had a subtle, warm glow.

He tried swinging his fist, creating a sharp gust of wind.

A surge of power welled up within him, far surpassing his previous strength; he roughly estimated it to have increased by at least 30%.

After consuming the life essence refined by Wu Heng, his physical condition had already reached the level of top human athletes, and now it has even surpassed the limit, reaching the pinnacle of human physical fitness.

Even more remarkably, he felt a small, warm current of energy slowly swirling and flowing in his brain. Though faint, it was clearly discernible and seemed to be able to be gently guided to his limbs with his thoughts.

He immediately realized that this might be the power Wu Heng had mentioned, the power that could purify demons.

"This feels fucking amazing!" (End of Chapter)
