Chapter 1134 Little Girl Lilith
The shadowy humanoid was easily sliced in half at the waist. The evil spirit let out a desperate wail and completely dissipated into the air, leaving only a faint smell of burning.
The eerie, hoarse whispers and chilling feeling vanished instantly.
"Is this the end?"
Sam put down his gun, looked at Dean in disbelief, and then at the unremarkable dagger in his hand.
Dean excitedly examined the dagger; the blade was intact and even shinier.
"Lor, Sam, did you see that? It's so cool, like a knife enchanted, almost like that Demon Hunter gun, and it's reusable."
Wu Heng approached, glanced at the spot where the evil spirit had dissipated, and said calmly, "Initial adaptation. The energy you guided is still very rough, wasting 70%. With more practice, the effect will be better."
Despite being described as 'rough', Dean was still very excited.
This was the first time he had dealt with an evil spirit so cleanly and efficiently without relying on special weapons or spells, without needing to use salt or make a mess of his dodges, relying solely on his own strength.
This feels better than ever before.
This is what a Witcher should be like!
What kind of miserable days did they live before?
While the Winchester brothers were busy testing their new abilities and tracking clues to the seal, a figure arrived at a police station in a small town hundreds of miles away under the cover of night.
This is a little girl who looks about seven or eight years old, wearing a clean dress, and has a sweet and lovely appearance.
She walked into the police station duty room alone.
The veteran police officer on duty put down his coffee cup. Upon seeing this scene, his previously expressionless face instantly broke into a kind smile. He bent down and said, "Hello, beautiful lady, why are you alone? Have you gotten separated from your parents? Do you need any help?"
Looking at the doll-like little angel in front of him, he tried his best to keep his voice soft despite his stubble-covered face.
He has a daughter of similar age and knows more about how to soothe children. At times like these, these panicked children need to be treated with the same respect as adults so that they can have confidence and calm down.
The little girl raised her head, her face showing no timidity or panic that a child should have, but rather an arrogance that was completely out of place for her age.
She said in a clear but cold voice, "I'm looking for information about Sam Winchester and Dean Winchester. Find them for me immediately."
The veteran police officer paused for a moment, finding the child's attitude somewhat strange, but didn't think much of it, assuming it was simply a personality trait shaped by his family's wealth.
"Winchester?"
"Okay, kid, don't rush. Can you tell me what your relationship is with them? Do you know any phone numbers or anything like that? That way, Uncle can help you find them."
"Relationship?" A strange, cold smile, completely opposite to her cute face, curled at the corner of the little girl's lips. "I am their destiny."
"Huh?" The old policeman was taken aback; he didn't quite understand what he meant.
"How long-winded," the little girl glanced at the old policeman.
Before she finished speaking, her pupils instantly turned into a pure, empty milky white, and an invisible, powerful spiritual force spread out like a shockwave.
The old police officer's smile froze instantly, his eyes became empty and lifeless, and the other police officers on duty also stood frozen in place as if a pause button had been pressed.
"Find all recent records of Sam and Dean, the brothers from the Winchester family," the little girl commanded.
The controlled police officers, like puppets on strings, numbly operated the computer. However, the Winchester brothers, acting cautiously and mostly using false identities, had left no obvious trace of their recent movements in the official system. The search yielded no results.
A flicker of impatience and rage flashed in the little girl's white pupils. "Useless."
She snapped her fingers lightly.
The next second, blood suddenly seeped from the eyes, ears, mouth and nose of all the police officers who were under control in the police station, and they collapsed to the ground without uttering a sound, their breath gone.
The entire police station fell into a deathly silence, with only the faint hum of the computer mainframes running.
The little girl walked up to the computer and started operating it herself. Her fingers flew across the keyboard, accessing not public databases, but residual records from the deep web, Witcher forums, and even Hell Contract fluctuations.
People always assume that the technologies they study are beyond the understanding of demons, but they don't know that for demons with super memory and brains, the technology developed by humans can be understood with just a glance.
Normally, I just don't bother using it because of the demonic energy.
She quickly pieced together a series of fragmented pieces of information: reports of unusual energy in the town of Roberts, and suspected demon-hunting activities occurring in nearby states.
"I've found you." The little girl's face revealed a cold, cruel smile that was completely at odds with her innocent appearance.
She walked out of the police station and waved goodbye without looking back.
Boom——! ! !
The entire police station building was violently exploded from the inside, flames shot into the sky, instantly engulfing all the corpses and traces, turning it into a burning ruin.
The little girl turned into a dimly lit alleyway next to her.
Deep in the alley, three ordinary-looking but burly middle-aged men were already waiting there.
They were expressionless, with empty eyes. When the little girl approached, the three of them bowed slightly in a respectful manner. Beneath their lowered eyelids, their pupils were a pure milky white, making them three white-eyed demons.
“Queen,” the leading demon uttered in a low voice.
The little girl's identity is now obvious.
The little girl, or rather Lilith, stopped and swept her white eyes over them: "How are the preparations for the next seal going?"
"Everything is ready, just waiting for the darkest hour."
“Very good.” Lilith’s voice was still childish, but it carried supreme authority. “The Winchester’s little bugs seem to be more active than before, and they’ve even found an interesting helper. This time, they’re being more discreet.”
"clear."
“Furthermore,” Lilith said, a hint of interest flashing in her eyes, “I want to personally meet the guy who caused Crowley to suffer such a setback.”
The alleyway returned to silence, as if nothing had happened, with only the raging fire at the police station in the distance illuminating the darkness and foreshadowing an even more intense storm to come.
Back in the town of Roberts, the Winchester brothers, through interrogating a captured low-ranking demon who had been in contact with the Pale Cult, combined with the descriptions of the seal's location in the previously restored documents, and the geographical distribution analysis of recent reports of anomalous energy, drew several possible intersection areas on the map.
"Based on the demon's fragmented memories and documentary clues, the next seal may be related to the concepts of water, mirrors, or 'reflection'."
Sam pointed to an industrial city circled on the map, near the Great Lakes: "Lakelight has several abandoned glass factories and mirror art galleries, and there have been several recent disappearances in lakeside or mirror-related locations."
Dean clenched his fist, feeling the growing power within him: "Looks like we'll have to head to Lake City. Maybe we can catch a big fish this time." (End of Chapter)
