Chapter 1242 The Antichrist
“Once he has fully matured, or has been found and seduced by Lucifer, he can cause the deaths of many angels with just a thought or a word.”
"His very existence is the greatest threat to Heaven, just as fire is to cotton—it is an essential form of restraint!"
He grabbed Sam's arm suddenly, so hard that Sam felt pain: "Sam, Dean, listen! We can't take this risk!"
"We must take advantage of his current instability; either we capture him immediately using the amulet Lor gave us, or we must eliminate him completely!"
"This is to avoid an apocalypse far more terrible than what we are experiencing now. I suggest we act immediately, with the three of us working together to launch the strongest attack and capture him, without giving him a chance to react."
Castio was very serious.
Sam looked at Jesse, who seemed to sense something was wrong and was nervously picking at his fingers in the distance, and shook his head vigorously: "No, Cass!"
“Look at him, he’s just a child, and he was just feeling guilty for unintentionally hurting the bully.”
“He has a sense of right and wrong. We cannot forcibly imprison an innocent child because of a ‘possibility.’ I believe this child can be communicated with.”
Dean also sided with Sam, although he was equally shocked by Jesse's identity: "Sam is right, Castio, the boy hasn't shown any evil tendencies, and he's very emotionally stable."
“We can try to communicate with him and guide him. Maybe he can control his power and even stand on our side. The chairman’s task for us is to ‘bring back the target,’ but he didn’t say how.”
"You're acting on emotion, risking the survival of the entire world!" Castio roared. "His essence is chaos and destruction. Your so-called kindness may be crushed by his out-of-control power in the next second. I must fulfill my duty!"
Seeing that Castio was about to ignore their advice and forcibly attack Jesse, Sam and Dean hurriedly stopped him.
In that instant of the argument, Jesse seemed to be startled by the 'light' and hostility that suddenly erupted from Castio, making him instinctively uncomfortable.
He looked at Castio with fear, instinctively took a step back, and whispered, with confusion and a hint of pleading, "Could you please not be so fierce? Just be as quiet as my teddy bear."
There were no incantations, no light, and no signs whatsoever.
The moment Jesse finished speaking, Castio, who was standing still, suddenly twisted and shrank, and in a faint halo of light, he turned into a plush teddy bear doll about thirty centimeters tall, wearing a miniature trench coat, with a frozen expression of astonishment.
It fell to the ground with a thud.
Dean and Sam's breath caught in their throats as they stared dumbfounded at the familiar yet now incredibly eerie teddy bear doll on the ground.
In the park, only the sound of the wind rustling through the treetops and Jesse's tearful, bewildered apology remained: "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to. I just didn't want him to hurt me!"
The air in the park seemed to freeze.
Dean and Sam stared intently at the teddy bear doll wearing a mini trench coat on the grass, their minds completely blank.
A living, powerful angel, right before their eyes, was turned into a plush toy by a single, unintentional remark from a ten-year-old child.
This power was beyond their comprehension, possessing a childlike innocence yet terrifying arbitrariness that sent chills down their spines.
Jesse looked at his creation, his face turned pale, and his eyes quickly filled with tears. He ran over in a panic, wanting to pick up the doll, but he didn't dare to touch it.
“I’m sorry, I really didn’t mean to. He…he looked so scary just now. I just wanted to quiet him down.” He explained to Dean and Sam, his voice trembling like an ordinary child afraid of being punished for doing something wrong. Sam was the first to recover from the shock. He took a deep breath, suppressing the turmoil in his heart, and quickly walked to Jesse’s side, squatted down, and said in the gentlest tone possible, “Jesse, listen, it’s okay, it’s okay. We believe you didn’t mean to.”
He glanced at the teddy bear on the ground and felt a chill run down his spine.
But she tried to remain calm: "But look, this, um, Mr. Teddy Bear, he's actually our friend. Can you turn him back, like you just turned him back like this, just think of it the other way around?"
Dean also came over, his expression complicated, but he forced a smile: "Yeah, kid, want to do me a favor?"
"This guy can be annoying at times, but he doesn't deserve this, right? Turning him into a doll is too tragic."
Jesse looked at them pleadingly and shook his head vigorously.
"I don't know how to change it back. I just thought that way at the time. Maybe I need some time."
He spoke with such sincerity, like a good child, that the eeriness of the terrifying power emanating from him was completely overshadowed.
Sam and Dean exchanged a glance, both seeing the helplessness in each other's eyes.
This child is like an infant who accidentally pressed the nuclear button, completely unaware of what they did, let alone how to undo it.
“Okay, okay.” Dean patted Jesse’s shoulder awkwardly. “Let’s… take ‘him’ and get out of here first.”
He bent down, carefully picked up the teddy bear with two fingers, and stuffed it into the large pocket of his jacket. The teddy bear drooped limply outside, creating a scene that was both eerie and somewhat comical.
They took the still-shaken Jesse back to the vicinity of his adoptive parents' house, but did not go inside immediately.
Right on the street corner, Sam tried to guide Jesse more patiently, hoping to find a way to reverse the power.
“Jesse, think back carefully. When you wish something to happen, how does it feel?” Sam prompted. “Is it like making a wish, or like drawing a picture in your mind?”
Jesse tried to recall, frowning: "It was just that I clearly thought 'I hope it's like that,' and then it felt like the world 'moved' slightly, like ripples on the surface of water, and then things turned out the way I wanted them to be."
He lowered his head in frustration.
"But I've thought about making things disappear or silencing people before, but it never worked. Only recently, especially after Professor Amber's accident, does it seem to be getting easier and easier to achieve."
His words confirmed Castio's warning: Jesse's power was rapidly awakening and growing.
at this time,
A cold, sulfurous stench suddenly spread out, the streetlights began to flicker, and the temperature plummeted.
A figure emerged from the shadows across the street.
This is a man wearing a cheap suit with a slick look in his eyes.
But Dean and Sam instantly recognized the pure demonic aura emanating from beneath the skin, and it was definitely not a low-level demon. (End of Chapter)
