Chapter 1244 Locking the Location

Dean and Sam waited in the living room downstairs. They could faintly hear suppressed sobbing and whispers coming from upstairs. Their hearts sank a little. It seemed they could bring Jesse back in the most harmonious way possible.

Jesse is just too important.

Upstairs, Jesse's adoptive parents, Mark and Catherine, were clearly heartbroken, but they also seemed to understand that Jesse's departure was inevitable.

About twenty minutes later, Jesse still hadn't come down.

Sam sensed something was wrong, exchanged a glance with Dean, and then they cleverly went upstairs together.

His adoptive parents were grieving in the living room, while the door to Jesse's bedroom was ajar. The two quickly went inside, but the room was empty, the bed was neatly made, and the windows were closed.

Only on Jesse's desk was a note held down by a paperweight.

Sam picked up the note; it was written in a child's slightly immature but neat handwriting:

"To Dad, Mom, and Sam and Dean:
I'm sorry, I can't say goodbye in person, otherwise I'll cry and won't be able to leave.

Thank you for loving me and protecting me. I know I'm different, and that might put you in danger. That evil demon found me, and there might be others coming after me.

I left to protect you all. Please don't look for me; I'll be fine.

I love you.

—Jesse

Next to the note was his favorite Iron Man toy, which he seemed to want to leave for his adoptive parents as a keepsake.

"He's gone," Sam murmured, his heart filled with mixed emotions.

He wanted Jesse to have a peaceful life, and he could understand that feeling very well, since he was in college and had a lovely girlfriend.

But when targeted by a demon, everything changed.

It was at this moment that he finally understood how much pressure his brother Dean had endured under their father's training during the time he lived a peaceful life.

But he selfishly forgot his mother and father, ignored Dean's pressure, and only thought about his own well-being.

Once you have the ability, there are some things and responsibilities that you can't avoid.

Unless they are willing to give up the struggle, relinquish their power, and accept confinement and supervision.

"The child's idea is good, but he still doesn't understand how terrible 'Apocalypse' is. If he doesn't have the power to stop it, his hiding will not be able to protect his adoptive parents."

“Because this is a catastrophe that affects all of humanity.” Sam said with a sense of loss. “We must find him.”

Just then, the teddy bear in Dean's jacket pocket suddenly emitted a faint light, then quickly expanded and deformed, restoring Castio to his original shape, and he stood up somewhat unsteadily.

The shock and bewilderment from when he was turned into a doll still lingered on his face. He subconsciously touched his face and body to make sure everything was normal.

"Castio, you're alright!" Dean breathed a sigh of relief.

Castio snapped out of his daze and immediately looked around warily: "Where's Jesse?!"

“He’s gone.” Sam handed him the note. “He left on his own because he was afraid of burdening his adoptive parents.”

Castio quickly scanned the note, his expression turning even more grim: "He left on his own? This is troublesome!"

“His power is maturing rapidly. Once he fully masters it, or if Lucifer finds him first, the consequences will be unimaginable. We must find him immediately!” “That’s what I think too.” Sam shrugged helplessly. “But this kid is elusive and his words are law. If he doesn’t want to be found, where are we supposed to look for him?”

Castio frowned, and the angel's perception was fully activated, but it was like throwing a stone into the sea: "He has shielded his tracks, or rather, his very existence has begun to interfere with the normal trajectory, erasing the traces of his own existence."

"Unless he comes forward voluntarily, it is almost impossible for us to find any clues or information he leaves behind to locate him."

“That’s not necessarily true.” Dean suddenly revealed a somewhat smug smile. He took out the combination amulet box given to him by Wu Heng from his pocket, opened one of the pieces, and saw an extremely tiny incantation emitting a continuous, stable, and almost invisible glow.

"Lor gave me something good. Just now in the park, when Jesse was emotionally agitated and his power was fluctuating wildly, I secretly 'marked' him with the amulet."

"Although the restraint function was not activated, the tracking signal was always connected."

Sam and Castio both looked at Dean in surprise.

Dean put away the amulet, his eyes resolute: "Although this kid is an 'Antichrist,' he's not a bad person at heart. He just left to protect his adoptive parents."

"He possesses power over Heaven, which may be a crucial bargaining chip for us humans. We cannot abandon him; we must find him, try to guide him, and at the very least, prevent him from falling into Lucifer's hands!"

"This child still doesn't understand his own importance, especially if he really gets there."

Dean didn't finish his sentence, but the two of them already knew what he meant from the serious and struggling look in his eyes.

Sam nodded emphatically: "Dean is right, Castio. We need your help, not to eliminate a threat, but to save a child and fight for a future for humanity."

"But unless it's a matter of life and death, I still want to protect this child!"

Castio looked at the Winchester brothers, who were adamant in their stance, and then, thinking of Jesse's note earlier, he sighed and nodded.

"Okay, but we need to be quick."

"Although I don't understand the principle behind this box, all power requires energy. Jesse's concealment is very clever. The tracking signal won't be effective forever, and nobody knows whether we, Lucifer, or Heaven will be the next to find Jesse!"

"If Heaven finds him first, he will definitely die!"

Without further hesitation, the three left Turner's house and disappeared into the impala.

Following the faint guidance on the amulet, Dean slammed on the gas pedal, the engine roared, and they drove into the deep night, relentlessly pursuing their target.

"Hey, this kid runs really fast. In just a short while, he's already in the next city." Dean sat in the passenger seat, picking his ear. His tone was teasing but tinged with helplessness. After all, he's still just a kid.

Castio, having listened to their account, said, "In that case, news of Jesse killing 'that demon' should have already reached Hell."

“Perhaps Lucifer has already received the news and is taking the next step.” His tone was serious, and Dean and Sam’s expressions instantly turned grave.

Sam instinctively stepped on the gas.

At this point, Wu Heng had already completed the "Sealing the Four Horsemen" storyline quest after sending away the "Death" old man. The storyline only required sealing, not sealing for a long time.

During this time, the old man also noticed the condition of the three creatures, 'Plague', 'War', and 'Famine', and knew that they were in the manor.

But he didn't care.

Just as he said, he himself was an existence older than God, and the other three were merely juniors to him. (End of Chapter)
