Chapter 1325 Seal
As the door closed, Wu Heng stood quietly in front of it.
The material of the door in front of me is hard to define; it looks like rusty bronze or weathered bone.
The surface markings kept writhing and rearranging, the pattern of angel wings cracked into a demonic pentagram, and finally twisted into a face that exuded both holiness and blasphemy.
A dull thud came from the inside of the door panel.
This is not a sealed door, but a newly built door on the outside that can temporarily imprison them until the truly sealed door inside is closed.
Every sound from inside the door was like a giant hammer striking the earth's skeleton, the impact vibrating the air and shaking the rules, as two opposing primal forces clashed wildly within the cage.
Each impact caused grayish-white ripples to spread across the ground, like pebbles being thrown into a stagnant pool.
"How much longer can they hold out?" a voice rang out from behind Wu Heng.
The speaker was the enormous body of the puppet evil spirit, and among the intertwined tentacles, the ends of two thinner tentacles were changing shape.
The scales become smooth, the barbs close up, the color shifts to the texture of human skin, and the contours begin to take shape: the bridge of the nose, eye sockets, cheekbones, and jawline.
The two faces gradually became clear.
The one on the left has a strong profile, with the corners of his mouth habitually turned down, carrying Dean's unique cynicism; the one on the right has softer lines, with Sam's ever-present pensive lines between his brows.
Two faces were attached to the ends of their respective tentacles, swaying slightly as the tentacles wriggled, creating a bizarre and absurd scene.
"Hold on until the seal is completely closed." Wu Heng didn't turn around, his gaze still fixed on the door. "They can't get out. Once it's closed, we'll replace your bodies with new ones."
“I understand.” Dean’s face spoke through the tentacle, his voice muffled as it came from within. “You said the new body has no independent consciousness, it’s just an empty shell. After the soul transfers, the modifications in our bodies will be reset. So, will those angelic powers, demonic bloodlines, those things embedded in the flesh disappear?”
“Most of the time, yes.” Wu Heng finally turned around and looked at the faces at the ends of the two tentacles. “But power never exists only in the physical body. Why can a demon still use power after possession? Why can an angel still perform miracles when they descend?”
"The body is just a container, the soul is the true core. The power in the body is only temporary. During your fusion, the true core imprint has been engraved deep into the soul, and that part will remain."
Dean grinned on the tentacle, the smile tugging at the muscle fibers on its surface: "So I'm still me, just in a softer shell?"
“More accurately, a ‘wear-out backup’.” Dean’s face was thoughtful. “But the cost is how long it will take us to become this thing?”
He was referring to his current tentacle form.
"What, are you reluctant to leave this state?" Wu Heng turned back to the door. "The transformation is just a matter of a moment, it can begin at any time."
The impact inside the door suddenly intensified.
The entire door began to deform, like sheet metal being hammered from the inside by an invisible giant hand. Pure white light patterns appeared on the left side of the door panel. This was the power of Michael. Each light pattern was like a red-hot branding iron, burning hissing scorch marks on the bronze surface.
The right door panel was seeping out a viscous darkness, with Lucifer's dark power writhing like a living thing, corroding the material.
Two forces began to collide with the center line of the door.
At the moment of impact, the air crackled with the sound of shattering glass.
Wu Heng raised his right hand, and four-colored light shone on the surface of the balancing glove. He did not make any fancy movements, but simply pointed his palm at the door and slowly closed his five fingers.
Suddenly, the phantom images of four rings appeared on the inside of the glove.
The seals previously added by Lucifer and Michael were instantly broken.
“Anti-Christ power, maximum frequency.” Wu Heng’s voice was flat, as if he were reciting an instruction manual.
All four rings vibrated simultaneously.
Centered on the ring, concentric ripples of interference with reality spread outwards. Wherever the ripples swept, distorted light was forcibly straightened, shattered sounds were reconnected, and the mottled flow of time was forcibly unified.
Ripples struck the door panel. Michael's light patterns began to fade, and Lucifer's darkness began to dilute, like a canvas of chaotic colors being painted with pure white paint.
The impact from inside the door turned into a struggle.
Wu Heng clenched his right hand tightly.
The phantom images of the four rings burst forth with blinding light, then collapsed inward and re-integrated into the glove. The four-colored halo on the surface began to rotate in reverse, the speed increasing until it became a blurry halo.
Four cracks appeared on the door panel at the same time.
The cracks were located exactly where the four rings were. Starting from the cracks, the material of the door panel began to peel off, like pencil lines being erased by an eraser, gradually disappearing from reality.
The struggle inside the door turned into a desperate roar.
The puppet spirit's two tentacles, the ones with Dean and Sam's faces, suddenly trembled violently, and both faces simultaneously showed expressions of pain.
"Stay calm." Wu Heng's voice cut through the noise, clear as a blade slicing through ice. "Your souls are temporarily residing in the bodies of evil spirits. Because of the connection with your bodies, you will directly feel the impact. Stay alert and don't get dragged in."
Dean, clinging to the tentacle, gritted his teeth. If the tentacle had teeth, the muscles in his face would be tense, and his eyes would be bloodshot: "Damn it... this is even more exhilarating than being bitten by a hellhound."
Sam's eyes were tightly shut, and fine beads of sweat, or rather, a sticky substance resembling sweat, appeared on his forehead: "They're trying to establish a connection, trying to locate us through the residual breath of our souls."
“Then cut it off,” Wu Heng said.
He raised his left hand and drew a line in the air.
A grayish-white blade of light appeared out of thin air and struck the connection between the two tentacles and the main body of the puppet evil spirit.
With a soft sound like tearing cloth, two tentacles detached from the main body, but the cut ends were immediately enveloped by the force of balance, forming two floating cocoons of light.
The expressions on the two faces inside the cocoon gradually calmed down.
This separation is accompanied by the power of 'death' lingering on their souls. Although they can temporarily re-establish contact, it is also fatally dangerous to their souls if it lasts too long.
The door panels are disappearing at an accelerated rate.
But the seal on the cage itself is also being activated.
Now, the scene inside the door can be seen directly: a chaotic void, where two colors of light collide wildly, pure white and pitch black, like two mad beasts tearing at each other in a cage. Each collision sends out energy fragments powerful enough to evaporate real matter, but those fragments are wiped out by the interference ripples left by the ring as soon as they fly out.
Deep in the void, two silhouettes could be vaguely seen.
Six pairs of light wings unfolded from behind, but the light wings were disintegrating into feather-like light spots.
The other figure was tall and elegant, but its skin kept cracking and healing, with each crack releasing a lava-like darkness.
They are talking.
I couldn't hear the specific content clearly; I could only catch a few fragmented words:
“.Cage Desecration”
"Humans deserve to die."
"It won't end."
".forever"
Wu Heng did not respond; he was simply waiting.
Once the door panel has completely disappeared. (End of Chapter)
