Chapter 1351 Deciphering the Stone Tablet
Wu Heng walked to the window and looked at the sky outside, which was gradually darkening.
David followed, lowering his voice: "What do you plan to do about the stone slab?"
“The most important thing now is to get the stone tablet,” Wu Heng said. “Bobby mentioned Kevin Tsui from the preparatory school, and Sam and Dean will go to him.”
"Leviathan is definitely keeping an eye on that place too."
“So we need cover.” Wu Heng turned around. “You’re in charge of dealing with the government and making sure they don’t interfere with the operation. I’ll deploy three squads around the preparatory school to create false targets and attract attention. The real slab-collecting team will only consist of Sam and Dean.”
David nodded and was about to leave when Wu Heng called him back.
“There’s one more thing,” Wu Heng said softly, “Casdio’s soul… I’ve received a signal.”
David was stunned: "He's still alive?"
“Alive, but not in reality.” Wu Heng brought up another screen, which displayed complex spatial coordinate data. “The signal comes from a… mezzanine dimension, a buffer zone between heaven and hell. Someone is hiding him there, perhaps waiting for the right time to bring him back.”
"Who did it?"
"I don't know." Wu Heng shook his head slightly. "But the signal is getting stronger, he'll wake up soon."
The preparatory college is located on the shore of Lake Michigan in an old Victorian building with red brick walls covered in vines and stained glass windows that glow warmly in the sunset.
This place is nominally a private preparatory school, but in reality, it has been one of the custodians of occult knowledge for hundreds of years.
Dean parked his car two blocks away and walked closer with Sam.
The streets were quiet, but something felt off because they were too quiet.
There were no pedestrians, no vehicles, not even birdsong. There was a faint, fishy smell in the air, like a damp basement.
"Do you think Leviathan is already here?" Sam asked in a low voice, his hand on the hilt of his gun.
“Definitely, unless he’s an idiot.” Dean nodded. “After all, once Bobby got the information, they knew they were exposed and would definitely speed up their operation.”
The two went around to the back of the college and found an inconspicuous little door, the passage Bobby had marked in the information.
The door was locked, but Sam used his telekinesis to gently vibrate it, causing the internal parts of the lock cylinder to misalign, and the door opened.
Inside was a narrow corridor with dark wood panels on the walls, portraits of past principals hanging on the walls, and a thick carpet on the floor that completely absorbed the sound of footsteps.
At the end of the corridor was an oak door with a bronze handle.
Dean pushed open the door; the room was a library.
The towering bookshelves reached the ceiling and were filled with ancient books, scrolls, and parchment.
The air smelled of dust and old paper.
In the center of the room was a huge oak table, on which lay a book thicker than a brick, its pages yellowed and the text written in an ancient, handwritten script.
Behind the table sat a young man, probably in his early twenties, wearing thick glasses and with messy hair, carefully studying the pages of a book with a magnifying glass.
He raised his head slightly upon hearing the door open.
“Kevin Choi?” Dean asked seriously. The young man pushed up his glasses, his expression wary: “Who are you?”
“The Witcher Guild.” Sam showed his badge and held it out to the other man. “Bobby Singer sent us here about the Divine Word Tablet.”
Kevin stared at the badge for a few seconds, then breathed a sigh of relief: "Is he alright? I've learned some things. There are traces of Leviathan in reality, and the scent is spreading."
“Someone is injured, but still alive,” Dean interrupted him. “But now a large number of people are under threat. Where is the slab?”
"If you can find this place, then it seems that it is no longer safe for me. You seem capable of handling this, so I'll leave it to you."
Kevin didn't waste any more words. He stood up, walked to a bookshelf by the wall, and pulled out the seventh book in the third row. It wasn't a real book; it was a switch disguised as a book.
The bookshelf slid open silently, revealing a safe behind it. Kevin entered the password and turned the handle.
There was something in the safe.
A stone slab, about 60 centimeters long, 40 centimeters wide, and 10 centimeters thick.
The material is not stone, but more like a mixture of some kind of metal and bone, with a dark gray surface covered with natural textures.
The stone slab was engraved with writing, in no known language, the symbols twisted and bizarre, like the claw marks of some ancient creature.
Kevin carefully took out the stone slab and placed it on the table.
“This is the language of God.” His voice was filled with awe and curiosity. “The original script that God used when creating the world, there are said to be ten pieces, which record the secrets of creation, destruction, and all creation. This is the seventh piece, which specifically records… Leviathan.”
Dean and Sam moved closer to observe.
The words are flowing.
It's not a metaphor; it's truly flowing, like mercury slowly creeping across a stone slab, constantly reorganizing and changing.
If you stare at it for too long, your eyes will sting and your brain will feel dizzy.
“It’s normal that you can’t understand it,” Kevin said. “This kind of writing requires ‘True Sight’ to decipher, and people with True Sight… are very few. I am the guardian of this generation.”
He took a deep breath, placed his hands on the stone slab, and closed his eyes.
A few seconds later, when he opened his eyes again, his pupils had turned pure gold. He looked at the stone slab once more and began to recite, translating and reciting it with his mind:
"On the sixth day, God created Leviathan, granting it unlimited appetite and ordering it to cleanse the world of its filth. However, Leviathan went out of control and turned against its creator, so it was sealed in the depths of the sea, to be unsealed on the day of Judgment..."
His voice was flat, like a machine reading aloud.
"...The body of Leviathan is covered in indestructible scales, but can only be broken by the blade of the three bloodlines: the blood of fallen angels, which is both filthy and holy; the blood of hellish demons, which is both chaotic and orderly; and the blood of mortals, which is both fragile and tenacious. When the three are mixed and applied to silver, they can damage its very foundation."

"...To kill Leviathan, one must first weaken its power, cut off its water supply, burn its nest, destroy its young, and wait for its true nature to be revealed before piercing its core with a blade to end it."
Kevin stopped, panting, the gold in his eyes fading, and he looked exhausted, as if he had just finished a marathon.
"That's all?" Dean asked.
"The stone tablet only records the methods and principles," Kevin said. "You'll have to figure out the specifics yourselves. The blood of fallen angels, Lucifer's or Michael's blood will do. Demon blood requires a high-ranking demon, preferably a lord of hell. As for mortal blood... it must be voluntarily offered and pure." (End of Chapter)
