As Dean gazed at the shooting stars in the sky, he couldn't help but recall the shape of Castio's wings, the tiny specks of energy that flew up when the angel's blade slashed across the sky, and the frequency of heaven that he occasionally sensed.

He didn't know why he would associate such a terrifying scene with himself.

But those blue, painful, falling... each point of light seemed to have a similar outline, a similar feeling, only shrunk countless times by pain, decay, distortion.

It seems to be confirming his guess.

“…Sam.” Dean’s voice was hoarse. He turned his head and looked at his brother under the car, his face showing a complex expression of shock and absurdity.

He raised his hand, pointing to the rain of blue light falling from the sky, and uttered the words that, many years later, were still repeatedly mentioned by witchers and survivors, symbolizing the beginning of the complete collapse of order:
“Angels…”

He paused, as if needing to confirm the madness of this conclusion, but the scene before him left no room for doubt.

"Falling!"

The moment he finished speaking, as if to prove his point, a point of light that was larger than other meteors, with a more intense blue light and a longer trail of smoke, tumbled out of control and crashed diagonally toward a cornfield less than a few miles away from them!

A faint, yet painful, muffled thud could be heard coming from that direction.

This was followed by the dull rumble of heavy objects hitting the ground and plowing through the soil, and the crackling sound of several corn stalks being set ablaze.

Dean and Sam exchanged a glance, both seeing the same horror in each other's eyes.

That's not a meteorite.

That could very well be... an angel, an angel who was thrown down from heaven in the most wretched and painful way.

Dean jumped off the roof and flung open the door. "Get in!"

"Where to?" Sam asked reflexively, but quickly got back into the passenger seat.

"Go find the one that fell down!" Dean had already started the engine, and the impala roared, "Damn it, what the hell happened?! Where's Cassie? What's wrong with him in heaven...?"

His words were cut short as even greater chaos began to unfold before their eyes.

Air traffic was the first to suffer.

The control tower at Kansas City International Airport was instantly flooded with countless emergency communication channels.

"Kansas Tower, this is Cargo 714. A large number of unidentified blue luminous objects have appeared ahead of my aircraft, obstructing the flight path. Requesting instructions!"

"Tower! American Airlines 223 reports an unidentified object approaching at extremely high speed! It appears to be...burning? My God, it seems to be moving!"

"Tower! We've been hit! The windshield... something blue hit us! We're losing altitude! Mayday! Mayday!"

In the night sky, the lights of several flights began to sway and flash erratically; some descended sharply, while others tried to turn to avoid the dense blue meteor shower.

A flash of light appeared on the distant horizon, followed by a faint explosion. Not all pilots were able to react in time.

Next came the changes in the ground.

Not all the fallen angels fell in the wilderness; some fell directly into towns, suburbs, and even city centers.

Texas, a suburb of Houston.

A blue ball of light trailing thick smoke crashed through the roof of a 24-hour Walmart, landing in the department store area and collapsing two entire rows of shelves, sending a large number of goods flying and smashing.

Blue smoke and dust billowed out. Several late-night shoppers and night shift employees screamed and scattered in panic, some of them injured by falling debris.

The still-shaken people gathered at a distance, using their phones to film the... humanoid object that was wriggling slightly in the ruins, emitting an eerie blue light and groaning in pain.
There seemed to be charred and twisted residue behind that thing, unlike anything human.

New York State, highway.

A truck driver was horrified to see a burning blue figure smash through his windshield, crushing the passenger seat and splattering blue blood and smoke all over his face.

The truck lost control, crashed into the guardrail, and overturned instantly, blocking three lanes.

Following vehicles were unable to brake in time, resulting in a chain-reaction collision. Screams, honking horns, and the clanging of metal instantly filled the night sky.

The blue object that caused the accident struggled to crawl out of the deformed driver's cab, staggered towards the roadside woods, leaving behind a trail of broken blue blood.

Chicago, apartment rooftop.

A young man smoking on the rooftop stared in disbelief at a figure with tattered, charred wings on its back, barely discernible in shape, and emitting blue smoke, which crashed onto a water tank not far in front of him with a bang, denting the thick steel plate of the tank.

The figure slid to the ground, convulsing and emitting inhuman, extremely painful wails.

Upon witnessing this scene, the young man was instantly terrified and scrambled to escape to the stairwell, not even caring that he had dropped his phone.

Panic spread like wildfire, aided by modern communication networks, at an alarming speed.

It went viral on social media instantly.

"What the hell is that thing falling from the sky? It can even move!"

"I took a picture! It's blue, looks like a human, but has wings, and it's charred. Is it an alien?"

"One of these fell down here and damaged the gas station! The police and army have arrived and are cordoning off the area!"

"It's not just the US; there seem to be reports from Europe and Asia as well. With such a high frequency of meteor showers, is this a global event?"

"The end of the world?! Is it angels? The fallen angels from the Bible?!"

The television news channel interrupted the broadcast with shaky footage, reporters speaking incoherently, and backgrounds showing chaotic streets, wrecked vehicles, smoking buildings, and occasional blurry shots of blue humanoid figures being carried onto stretchers.

Experts stammered on the screen, trying to explain it as a 'rare mass meteor shower' or 'atmospheric anomaly,' but were quickly overwhelmed by more clear video and photos from the scene.

The government’s emergency broadcast system was activated, urging the public to remain calm, stay indoors, stay away from any unidentified falling objects or strange creatures, and await further instructions.

National Guard vehicles began appearing on the streets, their sirens blaring throughout the city.

The hospital emergency room was quickly filled with curious onlookers, traffic accident victims, and a few people directly affected by the fallen angel, and the medical staff were overwhelmed.

What terrified them even more was that some of the injured developed inexplicable infections or abnormal reactions after their wounds were contaminated with the blue smoke or blood.

Social order began to crumble at a visible rate within the first hour of the angel's fall.

Traffic was paralyzed, communications were overloaded, rumors spread, panic buying occurred in supermarkets across the country, and violent incidents began to increase.

People's ability to withstand unknown and supernatural events, which had only slightly recovered after the Purgatory Crisis, is now being pushed to the brink of collapse once again.

This time, however, it wasn't a hidden monster, but thousands upon thousands of angels, impossible to ignore, who crashed into their daily lives in the most devastating way. (End of Chapter)
