Chapter 474 It’s you
The elevator was about to close.

A sharp voice sounded, "Wait!"

The attendant at the elevator door quickly pressed a button, and the elevator door slowly opened again. When he saw the person inside clearly, the attendant looked at the other person in a panic, "Mr. Meng!"

Meng Heming's eyes were fixed on the little girl. Seeing her standing timidly beside him, with an apologetic look on her face, like a child who had done something wrong, he cast a look at the attendant and said loudly, "Let her in."

After being dissuaded by the servant just now, An Yin hurriedly moved a few steps to the side. Then, she felt the atmosphere around her suddenly became cold, until she heard a familiar voice in her ears.

While she was in a daze, the servant had already come to her side.

"Miss, please come in!" the servant gestured.

An Yin glanced at the attendant, then looked into the elevator in a daze. She exclaimed, "It's you!" The man she had met a few times before!

The servant felt a chill on his back. It turned out that the girl in front of him knew Mr. Meng. It was a close call. He almost lost his job. Fortunately, his tone was not bad when he spoke to the girl just now.

"Nice to meet you again." Meng Heming met her clear and shining eyes. A hint of thought appeared between his brows, but it disappeared in a flash.

He is tall and well-proportioned, with slightly thin lips under his straight nose, revealing a cold and ruthless look.

At the reminder of the servant, An Yin tiptoed into the elevator.

The moment the elevator door closed, Meng Heming looked at the little girl in front of him, and his vision gradually became vague.

A cool breeze blew gently above the man's head, lightly ruffling his hair. His black eyes flickered faintly behind his hair, revealing an inexplicable gloom.

Whenever he saw this little girl, Meng Heming felt as if his heart was about to suffocate, as if he was being pulled by something, throbbing with pain. Perhaps it was just because there was a bit of someone's shadow between the little girl's eyebrows!

An Yin tilted her head and saw that the man's eyes were always fixed on her, as if he was looking for something through her. She retracted her gaze and said softly, "Are you eating here too?"

Her gentle voice interrupted Meng Heming's reverie. He suppressed the gloom on his brows and said, "Yeah."

Meng Heming's eyes did not leave the little girl. The few times they met, the little girl always wore a mask. A hint of curiosity appeared on his face, "Have you caught a cold?"

The man's voice was gentle when he spoke, and An Yin felt inexplicably close to him.

When An Yin saw the other person looking at the mask she was wearing, she smiled shyly, her eyebrows curved, and her lively eyes were like the vast stars. She murmured, "I don't feel anything."

"Yeah." It seemed that he was overthinking.

Meng Heming seemed to see his long-missed sweetheart, and a wave of sadness ran through his heart. The little girl in front of him gave him an indescribable feeling that he could not ignore.

"Ding"

We arrived at the first floor and the elevator door opened.

The time they spend together is always so short, and a different kind of emotion is ignited in the hearts of both of them.

Meng Heming took the lead and walked outside, followed by An Yin.

"Boss Meng!"

The attendants on both sides said in unison after seeing the person coming out. However, what surprised them was that Mr. Meng was actually followed by a little tail. They had never seen it before. They looked at each other in confusion and didn't know how to address him for a moment.

Before anyone could react, they saw the two of them walking away.

"Are you leaving?" Meng Heming looked at the girl holding her bag, his dark eyes fixed on her slender body. "I came down to pay the bill." An Yin's long eyelashes fluttered, and she slowed down her steps when she saw the man walking slowly.

Meng Heming's eyes were calm. "We have met many times, so we are destined to meet. Tell me the box number and I will treat you to this meal."

The little girl has an oval face, picturesque eyebrows, curved eyes, and a faint smile.

As Meng Heming watched, his heart sank, and the memories buried in his heart were quietly awakened.

"Thank you for your kindness, but it's not necessary." An Yin quickly refused. She looked straight ahead and did not see the man's eyes as deep as a cold pond.

The two walked in a hall covered with curtains. Screens separated a scene, and being in it made people linger.

The beautiful scenery before our eyes is not an exaggeration to call it "Jade Palace".

Seeing that the little girl was very interested in the indoor scenery, Meng Heming's cold face showed a trace of caution, "Do you like it here?"

"I like it." An Yin said without hesitation.

An Yin came to a red screen. A long curtain fell vertically from it. Beautiful flowers were faintly visible on the thin gauze, looking beautiful and long.

The girl had a slim figure, with long black hair draped over her back and skin as white as snow. When she was in this quaint scene, for a moment, Meng Heming felt that he saw his sweetheart.

"Ying'er." Meng Heming blurted out.

After realizing that he had lost his composure, his body trembled slightly.

The melodious guzheng tunes in the hall are like soft music, resounding in every corner.

An Yin's attention was focused on the decoration style in front of her. As for the name the man called out, she didn't hear it clearly.

When Meng Heming reacted, he saw the little girl looking around with interest, as if she didn't hear clearly what he said. He took a deep breath and his face turned cold.

The two were walking in the hall when a man in a suit and leather shoes hurriedly came up to Meng Heming and said respectfully, "Mr. Meng!"

The manager finished speaking and then set his eyes on the little girl beside him. Just when he was in a dilemma, he saw Meng Heming's eyebrows raised, and his tone was a little gloomy, "I will call you if there is anything, go down first."

"Excuse me, Mr. Meng." After saying that, the manager quickly retreated.

After the man appeared, An Yin withdrew her gaze, her bright eyes flickering as she listened to their conversation carefully.

Meng Heming took in the look of the little girl listening attentively, and the expression on his face gradually relaxed and became gentle.

"What do you want to ask?" He saw the confusion in the little girl's eyes, and before she could speak, Meng Heming asked first.

"Are you the boss?" An Yin tilted her head and asked in a very childish tone.

In her eyes, the word "Zong" after the surname means boss.

"Yeah." Meng Heming nodded.

"So what kind of store do you run?"

An Yin carefully looked at the man in front of her. He looked like he had an air of luxury that was hard to conceal. She couldn't help but wonder what he did. In fact, An Yin wouldn't ask others rashly, after all, this behavior was very impolite. But whenever she chatted with him, she would unconsciously let down her guard and speak out her thoughts. This sense of closeness made her feel incredible.
