Daojun, start from Penglai foundation building

The universe is in chaos, with the central point at the top.

This is the Three Realms and the Great Thousand Worlds.

The Three Realms are divided into five continents and four seas. The Eastern Continent belongs to Taoism, the Western Continent to Buddhism, the Northern Continent to the demon race, and the Central and Southern Continents to the Heavenly Court.

Despite this, the prosperous Southern Continent is not only home to the divine path; it also has Taoist sects and Buddhist temples.

On this vast continent, far surpassing any other world, there are two sacred Buddhist sites: Tianlong Temple and Jinchan Temple, belonging to the Vajra Path and the Lapis Lazuli Path of Buddhism, respectively.

Now that the Great Lingyin Temple in the Western Regions calls itself the ancestral temple of Buddhism, and the Golden Awakening Buddha has become the supreme master of the Dao, suppressing all the heavens, who among all the Buddhist holy sites in the myriad worlds dares to claim the title of "Great One"?
Although Tianlong Temple and Jinchan Temple are Buddhist temples, they are not close to Dalingyin Temple. They are closer to the Eastern Heavenly Daoist School, and even have a better relationship with the Heavenly Court than with Dalingyin Temple.

At this time, the Southern Continent was filled with Buddhist temples, Taoist temples, and various other shrines. The three religions of Buddhism, Taoism, and Taoism seemed to coexist in one place, yet they were also clearly distinct.

On this day, a brilliant golden light descended from the Penglai Void Heaven in the Eastern Heaven of the Three Realms. At the same time, the gates of the Tianlong Temple in the Southern Region opened wide, and various Heavenly Kings, Venerables, and Vajra Warriors lined up outside the temple to welcome the one who was about to arrive.

As the golden light settled in front of Tianlong Temple, and the hazy glow dissipated, a hazy Dharma body appeared, with a hundred acres of auspicious clouds above its head and three layers of rotating paths behind its head.

The Dharma Body was surrounded by pure and mysterious energy, exuding Daoist charm and celestial radiance. Twelve rainbow lights intertwined and reflected each other, and nine layers of mysterious colors shone brightly.

As the Dharma body manifested, the Heavenly Kings and Dharma Protectors of Tianlong Temple bowed and said, "Welcome, Daoist Yuxu Jingxuan."

The newcomer was none other than the Taiyi Yuzhen Ruyi Yuxu Jingxuan Daojun of the Penglai Dao Sect.

The Pure Yang Yuanjun Dharma Body of the Penglai Dao Sect descended upon Tianlong Temple. Looking at the magnificent and majestic Tianlong Temple before her, she nodded slightly. Then, she lightly lifted her foot, and blue and white lotus flowers bloomed. With the footsteps of Daojun Jingxuan, they appeared and disappeared uncertainly, disappearing into Tianlong Temple.

Within Tianlong Temple lies the Pure Land of Majestic Heavenly Dragon.

As soon as Daoist Jingxuan entered, she bowed to the golden Arhat sitting high on the Eight Treasures Lotus Platform, surrounded by heavenly dragons, and said, "Jingxuan greets Fellow Daoist Jianglong."

The being seated atop the eight-treasure lotus platform, his entire body imprinted with various Buddhist scriptures and seals, surrounded by celestial dragons and protected by secret Buddhist teachings, is the master of Tianlong Temple, and also the only one in Tianlong Temple to attain the Dao, the Arhat who subdues dragons.

His honorific title is: Namo Majestic, Fearless, Diligent, Dragon-Subduing Great Arhat.

Looking across the heavens, among the great Arhats of Buddhism who have attained the realm of upholding the Way, apart from the great Arhat Lingding under the seat of Buddha Jinjue at Dalingyin Temple, there are only the great Arhat Baoying of the Realm of Precious Appearance, the great Arhat Hezhen of the Realm of Secret Adornment, and the great Arhat Jianglong of Tianlong Temple.

It can be said that this person is one of the four great Arhats who uphold the Way in Buddhism.

As the master of Tianlong Temple, back when the Mountain and River Realm still existed, the Great Arhat Subduing Dragon and the Great Bodhisattva Golden Cicada of Jinchan Temple had no shortage of open and covert struggles with the Mountain and River Daoist sect.

However, with the merger of the three realms, Tianlong Temple and Jinchan Temple immediately changed their attitude and chose to cooperate with the Eastern Heaven Taoists to avoid the wrath of the Golden Awakening Buddha of the Western Heaven Great Lingyin Temple.

It can be said that today, Tianlong Temple and Jinchan Temple have a mutually dependent relationship with the Eastern Heavenly Daoist School.

Now that Daoist Jingxuan has come to visit, even though she is only in her Dharmakaya form, Arhat Jianglong naturally showed her the proper etiquette and welcomed her with a group of people from the Upper Three Realms of Tianlong Temple.

Seeing that Daoist Jingxuan was very polite, Arhat Jianglong also smiled and said, "It's a pity that the Yuanjun cannot come in person, otherwise this humble monk would definitely have a good discussion with the Yuanjun about the methods of Buddhism and Taoism."

"Speaking of which, has the Yuanjun's visit been due to some change in the Nine Provinces?"

Daoist Jingxuan nodded: "Of course, it cannot be hidden from the Arhat."

"Does the Arhat know that the Great Sage Tianpeng has already joined forces with the Qiankun Dao Sect?"

Upon hearing the words "Great Sage Tianpeng," the smile on the face of Arhat Subduing Dragon vanished: "Tianpeng? He still dares to leave the Great Wilderness Realm?"

Without saying much, Daoist Jingxuan raised her hand and scattered a patch of mysterious light, reenacting the battle from the Nine Provinces Realm in front of Arhat Subduing Dragon.

When the Arhat Subduing Dragon saw the bronze mirror in front of the Great Sage Heavenly Roc, engraved with intricate Daoist script and demonic marks, and surrounded by a crimson fire Daoist wheel, his expression became even more solemn: "The Golden Flame Illuminating Heaven Mirror?!"

"I personally drove this thing into the depths of chaos back then, but I never expected that Tianpeng would find it again!" Jingxuan Daojun said, "I, Dongtian, guess that this Golden Flame Illuminating Heaven Mirror was found by Qiankun Dao Sect for Tianpeng."

Arhat Subduing Dragon understood: "Primordial Lord, please state your purpose."

Jingxuan Daojun didn't hide anything: "My senior brother Dejing asked me to tell the Arhat that the conflicts of the past were just internal strife within the land. Now that the three realms have merged, the land is one family."

“If the Arhat can subdue this great demon, Brother Dejing can promise on behalf of the Heavenly Venerable that this demon will be permanently imprisoned in Tianlong Temple.”

As he uttered his final words, a glint flashed in the eyes of the Arhat Subduing Dragon: "To have Tianpeng forever guard Tianlong Temple?!"
Is this statement true?

A jade-like celestial book, shimmering with azure-gold radiance, flew out from Jingxuan Daojun's sleeve. Lines of Daoist script appeared one after another on it, and the final imprint of magical power was none other than that left by Qingyan Tianzun, the master of the Penglai Void Heaven Realm and the Dao Master.

Upon seeing this decree, the Arhat Subduing Dragon said solemnly, "Fellow Daoists of the Xuanmen are engaged in fierce battles across the Nine Provinces; this humble monk naturally cannot ignore it."

"Now a great demon has appeared in the Nine Provinces to block the way. For the sake of all living beings in the Nine Provinces, this humble monk will surely subdue this great demon and rid the world of this scourge."

Having received a positive answer, Daoist Jingxuan immediately took her leave.

After Daoist Jingxuan left, Arhat Jianglong took a deep breath and then instructed, "Disciples, please step down."

In the Pure Land, all the Dharma protectors and Buddhist kings withdrew. Then, the Arhat who subdued the dragon waved his hand, and a beam of Buddhist light shot out, creating a shimmering, mirror-like effect.

Within that shimmering water was another Buddhist paradise, a place filled with monasteries and pagodas. A golden lotus pond rippled in the water, where a benevolent Buddhist bodhisattva sat cross-legged.

The Buddhist bodhisattva that the Arhat who subdues dragons can contact is naturally that one.

Jinchan Temple, Namo Mahakala, the Great Bodhisattva of the Golden Cicada, who eliminates karma and saves the world.

Upon meeting the Golden Cicada Bodhisattva, the Arhat Subduing Dragon immediately said, "Penglai, contact me."

Golden Cicada Bodhisattva was not surprised at all: "I saw that pure yang light."

"Is your visit to Penglai related to the War of the Nine Provinces?"

The Arhat Subduing Dragon nodded: "The Heavenly Roc of the Great Wilderness Realm and the Qiankun Dao Sect have joined forces. Penglai asked me to subdue the Heavenly Roc."

The Golden Cicada Bodhisattva remained calm, showing neither sorrow nor joy: "In the vast Eastern Heaven Daoist community and the vast Penglai Heavenly Realm, apart from that Great Heavenly Venerable, there are two Dao-Holding Monarchs. Counting the entire Eastern Heaven, there are no fewer than six Dao-Holding Monarchs. How could they lack a Dao-Holding Realm expert?"

"Does that mean they can't subdue Tianpeng without your Dragon Subduer?"

The Golden Cicada Bodhisattva hit the nail on the head, pointing out the key issue.

Does the Eastern Heavenly Daoist school lack pure Yang energy?

The Eastern Heavenly Daoists have no shortage of them!

Even if the two Supreme Celestial Venerables do not take action, the Eastern Heavenly Daoist School can still mobilize two Pure Yang Dao Lords, and even the Crimson Cloud Dao Lord of the Cangwu Realm and the Jade Pool Holy Land of the Kunlun Realm can echo each other from afar.

Why specifically ask the Arhat who subdues dragons?
But the Arhat Subduing Dragon remained calm: "This day was bound to come."

"We are spreading the Dao and practicing the Dharma in this Southern Continent, drawing upon its fortune. We must give those two from the Eastern Heaven a reason to do so."

"That person from Penglai said that mountains and rivers are one family."

Upon hearing this, the Golden Cicada Bodhisattva sighed softly, "The mountains and rivers are one family, but this family is not easy to enter."

"It seems our pledge of loyalty will have to be given in this calamity of the Xuanmen (Taoist sect)." (End of Chapter)
