Daojun, start from Penglai foundation building

Picking flowers with a finger, a single thought can transform one into a Buddha.

Although the Three Realms have only been established for less than two thousand years, under the maintenance of the four ruling beings—the Emperor of Heaven, the two Heavenly Venerables of the Eastern Heaven, and the Buddha of the Western Heaven—the Heavenly Rules and Precepts have already taken shape.

For any supreme being to be born, the concept must first be born in the vast universe of the Three Realms, and then nurtured by the laws of heaven and earth for thousands or tens of thousands of years before it can be born.

Aside from the Heavenly Emperor who, during the time of the Three Realms' establishment of the Three Realms, took advantage of the incomplete Heavenly Rules and Precepts to give rise to a batch of divine positions, the Eastern Heavenly Taoism and the Western Heavenly Pure Land also each gave rise to a batch of immortal and Buddhist positions.

However, none of those positions involved the Pure Yang level; the most were only positions at the Refining Void and Integration stages, and positions at the Mahayana stage were extremely rare.

It can be said that the myriad fruits of existence truly nurtured in the Three Realms have not yet been born.

In such a Three Realms, to forcibly create a position above Pure Yang, and to change the strict laws, one must possess the power to reverse the universe.

Recently, Arhat Lingding and Bodhisattva Lingjue witnessed the supreme power of Buddha Jinjue's Dharma.

With a single thought and a single finger, one attains the Buddhist status of a master of the Way.

Although this Venerable Fruit was created by Buddha Jinjue through a clever trick using his left thumb, it is possible to activate a Pure Yang Fruit at the Dao-holding Realm, which is enough to show how advanced Buddha Jinjue's Buddhist teachings have become.

Without the interference of His Majesty in Heaven and the two Heavenly Venerables in the Eastern Heaven, let alone the Three Realms and the myriad worlds, who could possibly stop the all-encompassing Buddha light?
Amidst the countless chants, Arhat Lingding and Bodhisattva Lingjue also joined their palms in a Buddhist salute: "Namo Supreme Demon-Subduing King Buddha."

The Venerable King Buddha, formed from the Buddha's left thumb, returned the greeting with a smile. Then, his body transformed into lotus petals and vanished in the blink of an eye, leaving the Three Realms without a trace.

At this moment, the Bodhisattva Lingjue asked, "Buddha, has that Buddha's enemy committed another heinous act?"

Buddha Jinjue slowly nodded: "They have disrupted my teachings, corrupted my scriptures, and altered my intentions. They appear to be worshipping Buddhism, but in reality, they are disrupting it."

“I sensed its existence through thought. Its true form was hidden in the past, thinking itself safe, but I could also perceive its traces.”

"This time, the purpose is to make them understand what it means for the Buddha's teachings to be boundless."

Arhat Lingding said with some concern, "My Buddha, you have used the supreme Dharma to advance to the position of the Venerable King Buddha, but this has ultimately damaged your golden body. This disciple is worried."

Buddha Jinjue laughed indifferently, "It's just a stage of the Dao-holding realm; it can't harm my foundation."

"Moreover, without my thumb forcibly stimulating its birth, this Buddha King's position could not have been born so quickly."

"Right now, forcibly creating this fruit is not only to suppress the enemies of Buddhism. When the great calamity of the Xuanmen comes, I can withdraw my thumb at any time. At that time, my Western Pure Land will have an additional fruit of the Dao-holding realm, and we can deal with the situation with ease."

The Arhat Lingding and the Bodhisattva Lingjue understood this clearly:
While the Golden Palace Heavenly Emperor, Qingyan Heavenly Venerable, and Mingyang Heavenly Venerable are all away, he can first sacrifice his own cultivation to create a Dao-holding fruit. Once the Xuanmen Tribulation is over and the three of them return, he can then reclaim the lost cultivation. This will not only not affect the Golden Awakening Buddha, but will also provide an opportunity for the Great Lingyin Temple in the Western Heaven to gain another powerful Dao-holding fruit. At that time, whether he settles other Buddhist Pure Yang disciples who have attached themselves to him or selects one from within the Great Lingyin Temple, it will all be up to the Golden Awakening Buddha.

Thinking of these things, Arhat Lingding and Bodhisattva Lingjue chanted the Buddha's name again: "Namo Tathagata Agama Jinjue Buddha".

Chaotic Eastern Region, a desolate sea of ​​stars.

After the Heavenly Evil Ancestor's physical body was shattered by the Heavenly River Boundary Ruler, it turned into mist and disappeared without a trace.

Clearly, it was those Heavenly Evil Ancestors from the past who escaped the pursuit of the Heavenly River Boundary Ruler.

Kaiyuan Daojun stood in that shattered space-time, coldly gazing at the mess and bloodstains before him. After a long silence, he finally turned and left, his target the Nine Provinces Realm.

Meanwhile, in another uninhabited star field, the Heavenly Evil Ancestor, who had finally escaped from the Heavenly River Boundary Ruler of the Kaiyuan Daojun, was finally able to catch his breath.

However, at this moment, the Heavenly Evil Ancestor was no longer the crazy and fearless person he used to be. His gaze towards Zizai Xuanjun was as if he were looking at a real madman: "What were you thinking? How dare you distort that Buddha's scriptures and even attract that Buddha's projection!"

Zizai Xuanjun, however, did not care at all. The handsome Taoist, wearing a black lotus crown and white brocade robe, slowly cleaned his nails: "Don't worry, what I summoned is not His true projection, but just the projection of Bodhi Great Sun Buddha."

Bodhi Vairocana Buddha?
The Heavenly Evil Ancestor's eyelids twitched: Did he really think that he was so focused on the Left Divine Realm that he knew nothing about the affairs of the myriad realms?
Isn't that so-called Namo Shakyamuni Bodhi Mahavairocana Buddha just a Dharmakaya specially created by that Golden Enlightenment Buddha?
However, Zizai Xuanjun said: "Aga Jinjue Buddha and Bodhi Mahavairocana Buddha are the same existence, but not two sides of the same coin. The latter is the Dharma body of the former, and is also the most common projection of the former in all the heavens and myriad worlds and the long river of time."

"This is like that one from Penglai, the Void Bright Pure Evolution Dao Lord who has undergone tribulation. He is not the same as the Three Profound Pure Pure Evolution Dao Venerable, and even more different from the Supreme Dao Master Pure Evolution Heavenly Venerable."

"That Void Bright Pure Dao Lord who has undergone tribulation is a projection of that Heavenly Venerable who guards the foundation of Penglai and suppresses the fortune of Penglai."

"And the Three Profound Pure Evolutionary Dao Venerable is the Dharma body of that Heavenly Venerable in all the heavens and myriad realms and the long river of time, a manifestation of the boundless power of his Dao."

"His true form is the Supreme Dao Master Qingyan Heavenly Venerable, located in the Eastern Heaven of the Three Realms, in the Penglai Void Heaven Realm."

"The first two can be seen as a division of the latter's essence, but they cannot be entirely considered as the clones that were severed."

As Zizai Xuanjun spoke, he saw that Tianxie Laozu looked blank and suddenly lost interest. He sighed and said, "Forget it, you wouldn't understand even if I told you."

"Just remember, if you don't join the Penglai Dao Sect or the Qinghua Dao Sect, you won't encounter Dao Lord Qingyan and Dao Lord Mingyang."

"As long as you don't speak recklessly in the myriad realms and the long river of time, you won't encounter the Three Mysteries Supreme Pure Evolutionary Dao Venerable and the Golden Universe Grand Dao Bright Sun Dao Venerable."

The Heavenly Evil Ancestor nodded, then immediately realized: "You did this on purpose!"

“You deliberately distorted the Buddhist scriptures to attract the Great Sun Buddha of Bodhi.”

Zizai Xuanjun laughed and said, "Now I understand. How can I help you escape if I don't bring over that person's projection?"

"Does this mean I should misinterpret the Taoist scriptures?"

"Then we will not only face the Heavenly River Boundary Ruler of the Kaiyuan Daojun, but also the Soul-Dispersing and Spirit-Eliminating True Wind of Cause and Effect of the Zhiqing Qingyan Daojun and the Life-Severing Finger of the Hongdao Mingyang Daozun."

"Moreover, bringing over that person's projection is not necessarily a bad thing for you and me."

As Zizai Xuanjun spoke, he stared in the direction of the Three Realms and the Great Thousand World. There were some things he would not say to Tianxie Ancestor. His Majesty wanted him to stop Kaiyuan Daojun for five hundred years. What difference was there between that and asking him to risk his life?
Rather than obstructing Kaiyuan Daojun, it would be better to play hide-and-seek with Bodhi Mahavairocana Buddha in the chaotic void and the long river of time.

As he pondered, Zizai Xuanjun seemed to sense something, grabbed Tianxie Laozu and rushed towards the Nine Provinces Realm: "Kaiyuan is heading straight for the Nine Provinces Realm now. You and I alone cannot stop him. Zhu Yan and Jiaolong should have rested enough. If the four of us work together, we can at least stop Kaiyuan outside the Nine Provinces Realm."

Upon hearing this, the Heavenly Evil Ancestor was filled with reluctance: "You still want to stop Kaiyuan?"

Zizai Xuanjun sneered, "You've already gotten involved in this great calamity of the Xuanmen. Instead of sticking to your path to the end, are you trying to waver between two sides?"

"Throughout history, for millions of years, who among those who wavered and hesitated has ever had a good ending?"

Ancestor Tianxie paused, his expression growing increasingly bitter: "I've truly been bewitched and boarded your pirate ship; there's no getting off."

Just as the Heavenly Evil Ancestor was lost in thought, he heard the laughter of the Free and Unfettered Mystic Lord: "Great Sage Zhu Yan, Great Sage Jiaolong, please wait!"

The Chaotic Eastern Region, a vast expanse of space and time beyond the Nine Provinces.

The Great Sage of Molten Gold and the Great Sage of Reverse Sea Dragon were coldly watching the Free and Unfettered Mystic Lord in front of them. The savage and ferocious aura and the overwhelming evil aura unique to the demon race and innate saints of the Great Wilderness Realm enveloped the Free and Unfettered Mystic Lord like a raging storm.

At this moment, Zizai Xuanjun was like a lone boat on a vast ocean, suffering the ravages of a raging storm.

"You're still showing your face!"

"Didn't you say that reinforcements would come to our aid?"

Zhu Yan the Great Sage and Jiaolong the Great Sage questioned him in unison.

But Zizai Xuanjun said, "Didn't the Heavenly Evil Ancestor help you?"

"If it weren't for Ancestor Tianxie sacrificing himself to fight, the two of you would already be dead under that Kaiyuan Heavenly River Boundary Ruler!"

Hearing Zizai Xuanjun's words, Tianxie Laozu grinned, revealing a mouthful of crooked, yellow teeth. But the smile vanished in an instant; clearly, being utterly humiliated by Kaiyuan Daojun was no laughing matter. Zhu Yan Dasheng and Jiaolong Dasheng glanced at Tianxie Laozu, then at Zizai Xuanjun. Finally, Zhu Yan Dasheng said, "This is different from what we initially agreed upon!"

"Kaiyuan's cultivation level is far beyond that of an ordinary Dao holder!"

Zizai Xuanjun said, "Back then, Great Sage, you were full of confidence, saying that you and the Flood Dragon Great Sage alone were enough to stop Kaiyuan."

"I was worried about your safety, so I invited the Heavenly Evil Ancestor. May I ask, Great Sage Zhu Yan, where did I go wrong?"

"Where have you two been tricked this time?"

Zhu Yan Dasheng questioned him again and again, and Zizai Xuanjun refuted him one by one. Under Zizai Xuanjun's eloquent rebuttal, Zhu Yan Dasheng was speechless and seemed to have become the one in the wrong.

Just as the Great Sage Zhu Yan was scratching his head in frustration, the Great Sage Jiaolong succinctly captured the key point: "Now, let alone Zhu Yan joining forces, even if we add Fellow Daoist Tian Xie and you, the four of us still can't stop Kaiyuan."

"Mystic Lord, if you've asked us to help, you must have some backup plans, right?"

Upon hearing this, both Zhu Yan the Great Sage and Tian Xie the Ancestor looked at Zizai Xuanjun, who smiled calmly and said, "Three fellow Daoists, please rest assured."

"We are not trying to fight Kaiyuan to the death, but simply to stop their progress."

"If we can't beat them, how about we take over?"

"Pull it into the river of time, gather the strength of the masses, and delay it for three to five hundred years, then we will have accomplished our great mission."

The Great Sage of the Flood Dragon was somewhat suspicious: "Delaying for three to five hundred years, and that's considered a great success?"

Zizai Xuanjun nodded repeatedly: "Three to five hundred years is enough."

The Great Sage of the Flood Dragon understood and breathed a sigh of relief: "If it's just a matter of delaying for three to five hundred years, then there really is a way."

The Great Sage Zhu Yan also said, "If we resist for three to five hundred years, at most we will lose some cultivation, but it won't damage our foundation."

Seeing that both the Great Sage of the Flood Dragon and the Great Sage of the Zhu Yan nodded in agreement, the Heavenly Evil Ancestor had no choice but to say, "Then let's join forces and stop Kaiyuan in the River of Time."

Seeing this, Zizai Xuanjun took out three more ink lotuses from his bosom and handed them to the three Pure Yang masters: "These are the offspring of my Seven Wonders Ink Lotus, which have wondrous uses."

"Each lotus petal represents a life-saving divine power, which can give the three of you more defensive measures."

"And the lotus seeds in the lotus platform can restore the three of you's magical power and repair your damaged minds and bodies."

"Each person has seven lotus petals and seven lotus seeds. With the three of them working together, even the Kaiyuan realm cannot defeat them."

Upon hearing this, Zhu Yan, Jiaolong, and Tianxie each put away a black lotus and were about to chase after Kaiyuan Daojun when Zizai Xuanjun said, "The three of you, please wait."

Seeing the suspicious expressions on the faces of the three Daoist Pure Yang masters, Zizai Xuanjun explained, "I would like to trouble you three fellow Daoists to leave behind one item that can represent your identities."

"Now that the battles in the Nine Provinces are raging, and the three of you are blocking the opening of the Yuan Dynasty in the long river of time, your disciples, sons and grandsons must go to the Nine Provinces to try their luck and seek a share of fortune."

Zhu Yan the Great Sage scratched his head, plucked a golden monkey hair from his heart, and handed it to Zizai Xuanjun: "Use this to summon my sons and grandsons from my Ten Thousand Beasts Forest."

The Great Sage of the Flood Dragon also took out a dragon scale and handed it over, allowing the Free and Unfettered Mystic Lord to use the dragon scale to summon his dragon sons and grandsons from the Flood Dragon Sea.

As for the Heavenly Evil Ancestor, he chuckled and said, "My disciples from the Left Divine Realm are all in your cauldron. If Qian Tian has any use for them, just send them in."

Zizai Xuanjun glanced meaningfully at Tianxie Laozu, said nothing, and simply waved his hand to open a void passage: "The three of you, follow me."

Using the void passage opened up by Zizai Xuanjun, the four quickly caught up with Kaiyuan Daojun.

At this moment, the distance between Kaiyuan Daojun and the Nine Provinces Realm was extremely close. It could be said that Kaiyuan Daojun would be able to reach the Nine Provinces Realm with just a few more steps, thus adding a significant weight to the Eastern Heaven Daoist faction's lineup.

But at that moment, as ripples appeared in the space-time before them, under the calm gaze of Daoist Kaiyuan, Ancestor Tianxie, Great Sage Zhuyan, and Great Sage Jiaolong all appeared together.

However, Kaiyuan Daojun's attention was not on the three people in front of him, but on the figure in the black crown and brocade robe behind them.

"Zizai Xuanjun!"

"I knew it was you who used tricks to save Tianxie."

Kaiyuan Daojun's voice was calm and unwavering, revealing no emotion, but Tianxie Laozu trembled as if he had remembered the power of the Heavenly River Boundary Ruler.

Zizai Xuanjun smiled and performed a Daoist bow: "Fellow Daoist Kaiyuan, you flatter me."

"I merely used a little trick to help Fellow Daoist Tianxie escape."

“As the Buddhist scriptures say, saving a life is better than building a seven-story pagoda. By saving Fellow Daoist Tianxie, I am also accumulating blessings for Fellow Daoist Kaiyuan.”

Speaking of Buddhist teachings in front of Xuanmen Chunyang Daojun, Zizai Xuanjun's words were undoubtedly intended to provoke Kaiyuan Daojun.

However, Daoist Kaiyuan did not show the slightest anger or irritability. He simply raised the Heavenly River Boundary Ruler with utmost calmness and said, "Further words are useless. Your goal is to stop me, isn't it?"

"In that case, let's see who's the best."

"However, let me remind you, once is enough, twice is not enough, but three times is not enough. This time, you won't be able to escape from me so easily."

As they spoke, billions of stars appeared all around, freezing this space-time universe in place.

Under the solemn gazes of the Heavenly Evil Ancestor, the Great Sage Zhu Yan, and the Great Sage Jiaolong, billions of stars shimmered and swayed, their boundless brilliance seemingly stirring the threads of destiny and disrupting the traces of cause and effect.

In an instant, the sound of great rivers and lakes rang in the ears of the three Daoist Pure Yang masters.

That was the sound of surging water vapor crashing against the chaotic universe, the sound of a torrent rushing along the river and washing away everything in its path.

Unbeknownst to them, the vast and boundless river of time, covering all the heavens and the universe, manifested before the three Pure Yang masters.

With a gentle stroke of the Heavenly River Boundary Ruler in Kaiyuan Daojun's hand, the River of Time seemed to freeze for a moment. Then, amidst the splashing of countless water droplets, a towering ruler leaped out of the shimmering, dazzling surface of the River of Time and headed straight for the three Pure Yang Holders.

"Since you want to fight, let's settle this in the River of Time!"

As Kaiyuan Daojun finished speaking, Tianxie Laozu, Zhuyan Dasheng, and Jiaolong Dasheng disappeared without a trace along with the river of time.

Billions of stars faded into darkness, and the river of time vanished without a trace.

Zizai Xuanjun stood with a smile, watching Tianxie Laozu, Zhuyan Dasheng, and Jiaolong Dasheng once again stop Kaiyuan Daojun, and revealed a satisfied smile.

However, just as Zizai Xuanjun turned to leave, the smile on his face froze on the spot.

Behind Zizai Xuanjun, an eight-treasure golden lotus platform appeared out of nowhere. On the lotus platform, a Buddha with a full head of flesh and a white hair between his eyebrows sat cross-legged with his palms together, looking at Zizai Xuanjun.

"By the decree of the Buddha's teachings, we shall exterminate the enemies of the Buddha!"

As he spoke, the Buddha, who had attained the state of enlightenment, raised his palm and pressed it down, and in an instant, boundless Buddhist teachings and the light of demon suppression shone forth.
