The Golden Cicada Bodhisattva is different from the Dragon-Subduing Arhat. After all, Tianlong Temple had some past conflicts with the Shanhe Three Families, but they were still on good terms on the surface. However, the Golden Cicada Temple was ambitious and wanted to replace the Tianhe Dao Sect.

As a result, with the merger of the three realms, the great calamity of the Xuanmen began, and the Tianhe Dao Sect became the protagonist. How could the Golden Cicada Bodhisattva and the other two Bodhisattvas of the Golden Zen Temple bear this?

If it were just one Arhat who subdues dragons, the Golden Mother could completely ignore him, even if there were three Arhats in Tianlong Temple, while she, in her Yaochi Holy Land, only had one.

However, if both the Arhat Subduing Dragon and the Bodhisattva Golden Cicada speak, then their importance is something she should take seriously.

"Our Tianlong Temple possesses the Merit Tianlong Pool, which can be opened to the Jade Pool for a hundred years. We also have Tianlong Wood and Wealth Beads."

The Golden Cicada Bodhisattva also said, "The Golden Lotus Pond and Golden Cicada Forest of the Golden Zen Temple can be opened to the Jade Pool for a hundred years. Furthermore, given the new treasure that the Primordial Lady has acquired, this humble monk can perform a ritual to guide and enlighten her."

With the Arhat Subduing Dragon and the Bodhisattva Golden Cicada offering their terms, the Golden Mother Yuanjun nodded in satisfaction and said, "Since that's the case, then I can let Tianpeng go. This fiend will be left to you two fellow Daoists."

Having said that, the Golden Mother Yuanjun turned her spear around and aimed it at the Heavenly Profound Dao Lord, who was extremely active within the Myriad Laws Profound Heaven Array.

After the Golden Mother Goddess withdrew, before the Great Sage Tianpeng could even catch his breath, he was surrounded by the Arhat Subduing Dragon and the Golden Cicada Bodhisattva from the left and right.

As the Arhat Subduing Dragon manifested the true form of the Great Power Arhat, and the Golden Cicada Bodhisattva unleashed the Buddha Light of Universal Salvation, the already severely injured Great Sage Tianpeng had no power to resist.

But then the Arhat Subduing Dragon laughed and said, "Fellow Daoist Tianpeng, you have no way out."

"Our Tianlong Temple and Jinchan Temple sincerely welcome fellow Daoist. The Buddhist community is open to all. If you turn back now, you can still save your life. If you remain stubborn and do not see the truth, you will die and your Dao will perish."

Golden Cicada Bodhisattva then reminded him, "Fellow Daoist Tianpeng, don't forget that even without you, we still have the option of Zhenxiao."

"Furthermore, with your joining us, besides becoming a Bodhisattva, you are now the third person to attain such a high position, after the two of us. Since it is not up to us, you can continue your cultivation within the temple and need not concern yourself with this."

With the Arhat Subduing Dragon and the Bodhisattva Golden Cicada speaking one after the other, with both threats and promises, the Great Sage Tianpeng, seeing that he had no way out, finally gave in: "In that case, I am willing to join the Buddhist sect."

Upon seeing that the Great Sage Tianpeng had yielded, Arhat Subduing Dragon immediately laughed and said, "In that case, Fellow Daoist Tianpeng is one of us."

“Fellow Daoist Tianpeng, as you have seen, the outcome of the Xuanmen Calamity is already decided, and the seven sects led by Qiantian have no chance of winning.”

"It is precisely at times like these that we must make a statement."

The Great Sage Tianpeng gritted his teeth and said resolutely, "Since that's the case, I will personally go and persuade the Poisonous Owl to surrender!"

The Arhat Subduing Dragon and the Bodhisattva Golden Cicada nodded in satisfaction: "So excellent."

The once magnificent and vast Myriad Laws Profound Heaven Array is now in ruins.

As the Great Sage Tianpeng broke out of the formation first, the already crumbling Myriad Laws Profound Heaven Formation became a sieve, allowing others to come and go as they pleased.

At this moment, within the Myriad Laws Profound Heaven Formation, the Laughing Lion Arhat and the Tide Sound Bodhisattva were attacking the Poisonous Owl Great Sage from the left and right.

Although the Great Sage of the Poisonous Owl possessed a body full of fire and poison, the Golden Body of the Laughing Lion Arhat could ward off all poisons, and the Tide Sound Bodhisattva's Tide Sound Buddha Light could eliminate disasters and bring salvation. Under the combined attack of these two great Buddhist masters, the Great Sage of the Poisonous Owl was already showing signs of weakness and was about to be unable to hold on.

Realizing that staying there would mean being beaten to death by the two Buddhist monks, the Great Sage of the Poisonous Owl immediately spread his wings and fled.

The Bodhisattva of the Tide immediately shouted, "I trouble you, Arhat, to stop him. This humble monk will use my magic to save him!" The Laughing Lion Arhat laughed heartily, and dark golden Buddhist light shone around this Buddhist Arhat. He made a hand seal with one hand and a mudra with the other, forming a lion shape. He roared at the fleeing Great Sage of the Poisonous Owl, "Zha!"

In an instant, a Buddhist lion's roar shook the heavens and earth, shattering countless voids under its furious roar, and turning the already chaotic surrounding space into dust.

This lion's roar not only shook half of Cangzhou, but also caused the heavens and the earth to tremble.

Within the Beichen Diandou Siming Grand Array, Jiang Sheng, Lin Fan, and the others looked down and saw a golden-haired lion, a million miles tall, manifest in the Cangzhou of the mortal realm. Its roar shattered mountains and rivers, causing the already broken Wanfa Xuantian Grand Array to collapse even more completely.

Although both the Vajra Path and the Lapis Lazuli Path of Buddhism possess the Lion's Roar, and it is a superior supernatural power for protecting the Dharma and subduing demons, in terms of true mastery, no one in all the heavens and myriad realms is more proficient in this supernatural power than the Laughing Lion Arhat.

The Lion's Roar and the Lion's Seal are the signature supernatural powers of this Laughing Lion Arhat, who is renowned for his ability to subdue demons and suppress evil.

Seeing the praise from the Bodhisattva Chaoyin, the Laughing Lion Arhat couldn't help but feel smug. At this moment, the Bodhisattva Chaoyin also took the opportunity to point out the Buddha's light of universal salvation, intending to convert the Great Sage of the Poisonous Owl on the spot.

"Fellow Daoists, please spare the life of the Poisonous Owl!"

The Great Sage Tianpeng's voice was filled with anxiety. The Bodhisattva Chaoyin originally intended to send the Great Sage Zhenxiao into reincarnation, but instead, she heard the voice of her own Bodhisattva Jinchan.

When the Bodhisattva Chaoyin turned his head, he saw that the Laughing Lion Arhat was also turning his head to look. It was clear that the Dragon-Subduing Arhat had also delivered the decree.

Therefore, the two immediately stopped and let Tianpeng the Great Sage come over.

Seeing that the Great Sage Zhenxiao had almost perished, the Great Sage Tianpeng immediately sent a secret telepathic message. The Great Sage Zhenxiao was filled with resentment, and after some hesitation, he lowered his head.

Seeing this, the Great Sage Tianpeng sighed: "In any case, at least you and I, brothers, have survived, and our children and offspring will have a way out. Otherwise, whether it is you and me or our descendants, we would probably all perish in this Nine Provinces."

The Great Sage of the Poisonous Owl could only sigh and bow to the Laughing Lion Arhat and the Bodhisattva of the Tide Sound: "This humble sage is willing to convert to Buddhism."

Seeing that both Tianpeng Great Sage and Zhenxiao Great Sage had converted to Buddhism, the Dragon-Subduing Arhat and the Golden Cicada Bodhisattva nodded in satisfaction. Although they had lost many Dharma Protectors and monks in this Xuanmen Calamity, they had also gained a lot. For the two great Buddhist masters, the most important gains were the wisp of fortune and merit from the Xuanmen Calamity and the two Great Sages of the demon race.

As for the Venerable Ones and Buddhist disciples of Tianlong Temple and Jinchan Temple, they also gained a lot of rare and precious materials, magical treasures, and spiritual birds. The large number of demons brought by the Great Sage Tianpeng and the Great Sage Zhenxiao alone contributed countless good things to them.

The Realm of Mastering the True Yang of the Dao is infinitely more difficult than Entering the Pure Yang of the Dao or Holding the Pure Yang of the Dao. They are worlds apart.

Without sufficient fortune and merit to propel it, it is impossible to combine the seeds of various paths one holds into a single True Yang Dao Fruit and evolve one's own Great Dao.

Qingyan Tianzun entered the Dao through wind and water, expounding the Great Dao of wind and water as illusory and boundless, and later attained the fruit of the complete void and the two polarities.

Mingyang Tianzun entered the Dao through Yang and light, and expounded the Great Dao of Yang and light as the means to create emptiness, and later realized the fruit of creation of Yin and Yang.

He entered the Dao through the stars and water, and interpreted the Great Dao of the stars and water as the essence of time. Logically speaking, he could have attained the Dao fruits of time and space. Unfortunately, the Great Dao of time and space already had that emperor at its end, so the Dao fruits he could attain were limited to one path.
