Chapter 1107 The Three Han Kingdoms Submit
"Oh? Jin Yan is on the city wall?"

Su Yao's gaze followed the trembling fingers of the wailing nobles, shooting like an arrow towards the distant city tower. Jin Yan was frantically trying to hide behind his personal guards, but his conspicuous finery gave him away.

"Found you." Su Yao's lips curled into a cold smile.

Jin Yan, standing on the city wall, met that gaze and felt as if he had fallen into an ice cave. He screamed hoarsely, "Fire arrows! Fire arrows now! Kill him! A reward of a thousand gold pieces! No, ten thousand gold pieces!"

Do you have ten thousand taels of gold?

Su Yao snorted softly, and his figure flashed, disappearing from the rooftop like a ghost. The next moment, he appeared dozens of steps away!

He didn't need Griffin's dive at all; with his extraordinary strength and speed alone, he leaped between rooftops and towers in a few bounds, leaving only a red afterimage as he rushed straight towards the city wall!

"Protect the King!" Jin Yan's personal guard captain was loyal enough to draw his sword and roar as he led his men to meet the king.

"Like a mantis trying to stop a chariot." Su Yao didn't even use the golden pestle; he simply snatched a spear that was thrust at him, and with a flick of his wrist, the spear transformed into a black lightning bolt!
"Puff puff--!"

The spear, with terrifying force, pierced through the chests of three guards in succession, its momentum undiminished. Finally, with a resounding clang, it pinned the captain of the guards to a wooden pillar on the city wall! Blood gushed down the spear shaft.

This scene completely shattered the last will of resistance of the city gate defenders. They let out a loud "Wow!" and scattered in all directions, dropping their weapons and revealing Jin Yan, who was pale and limp on the ground.

Su Yao walked forward slowly, as if strolling in a garden, stepping over the weapons and pools of blood scattered on the ground, looking down at Jin Yan who was trembling like a leaf.

"Prince Chen? With such little courage, you dare to defy the might of Heaven?" Su Yao's voice carried a hint of mockery.

"Spare...spare my life...God King, spare my life..." Jin Yan kowtowed incoherently, tears streaming down his face. "I surrender! Mahan surrenders! All wealth, land, and people...are yours...I only beg you to spare my life!"

Before he could finish speaking, Su Yao had already turned into a blur.

Su Yao lunged forward, grabbed Jin Yan's hair, lifted him up, and leaped off the city wall.

Then, in the blink of an eye, Griffin flew in like a whirlwind, caught Su Yao steadily, and carried him high into the sky.

"Look carefully!" Su Yao's voice boomed like thunder, echoing in all directions. "This is the fate of those who defy!"

Before he finished speaking, Su Yao swung his arm and threw Jin Yan directly down from the sky!

"Do not--!!!"

Before everyone's eyes, Jin Yan's piercing scream tore through the sky. The once invincible "Prince Chen" was thrown onto the hard ground in front of Gongshan City's gate like a broken doll, his flesh mangled and his body instantly killed.

The entire battlefield fell into a deathly silence.

Whether it was the garrison inside the city or the allied forces outside, everyone was so shocked by this domineering and cruel scene, which was like a divine judgment, that they were speechless.

A moment later, King Xiaogu was the first to react, kneeling down in a frenzy and shouting at the top of his lungs, "The Divine King is mighty! The traitorous chieftain has been slain! Long live the Great Han!" As if a fuse had been lit, the allied forces outside the city erupted in a thunderous cheer. The garrison and nobles inside the city, however, were all ashen-faced, their hands and feet trembling, no longer daring to have the slightest thought of resistance.

"Clang-"

It's unclear who first threw down their weapon, but then, as if in a chain reaction, the sound of weapons hitting the ground echoed from the city wall. The heavy city gates creaked open slowly under the trembling hands of the defenders.

Outside the city, the allied forces led by Xiao Gu erupted in even louder cheers. Taishi Ci's elite Han cavalry, clad in black armor, were the first to move, silently and methodically surging into Gongsan City like a black iron torrent, swiftly taking control of key locations such as the city's defenses, armory, and granaries. The surrendered Baekje and Byeonhan allies followed closely behind, their eyes filled with awe and fervor as they watched the once-revered Mahan royal city so easily breached.

Xiao Gu Wang scrambled to Su Yao's feet, prostrated himself on the ground, and his voice was sharp with excitement: "The might of the God King! The rebellious chieftain has been beheaded, Gongshan City has fallen, and no one in the Mahan tribes dares to disobey the God King's will!" The other tribal leaders behind him also knelt down one after another, vying to show their loyalty, afraid of being a step too late.

Su Yao nodded slightly, but his gaze passed over Xiao Gu and looked into the city: "Those descendants of the Jin Yan clan who stubbornly resist shall be executed. The rest shall be dealt with according to the law. From this moment on, the land of Ma Han shall be incorporated into the jurisdiction of Haidong Prefecture. Household registration, land, and military personnel shall be checked and recorded one by one, without any errors."

"I obey the King's decree!" King Xiaogu responded loudly, immediately assigning his trusted subordinates and the Mahan nobles who had surrendered with him to cooperate with the Han army. He knew that this was an opportunity to prove himself, and a crucial moment to establish the position of Baekje and the newly annexed tribes in the new order.

The suppression of remaining resistance and the takeover operation proceeded exceptionally smoothly. Jin Yan's tragic death completely shattered all will to resist. A few die-hard Jin Yan loyalists attempted to fight back, but they were quickly crushed by the Han army and its allies with swift and decisive action. In less than a day, resistance in Gongsan City and throughout the entire Mahan region was essentially quelled.

Three days later, at the Royal Court Square in Gongshan City.

A larger-scale alliance meeting was held here. This time, not only the thirty-odd tribes that had responded to the call earlier, but almost all the leaders of the large and small tribes of Mahan, Byeonhan, and Jinhan who could still make it were present. Even representatives from the six tribes of Jinhan and the twelve tribes of Byeonhan, which were far away in the southeast of the peninsula, rushed over by horse.

Many of them had heard terrifying rumors along the way about how Gongshan City was breached in a single day by the "God King" and how Chen Wang Jin Yan was thrown from the sky and smashed into a bloody pulp. Now, seeing with their own eyes the red-robed youth standing with his hands behind his back on the high platform of the square, with a golden sacred beast crawling beside him, as well as the majestic empress and the exotic concubine beside him, their last bit of hope vanished.

Below the platform, hundreds of tribal chiefs and representatives knelt in a dense, dark mass, the scene several times larger than that outside Weili City. Everyone held their breath, their reverent gazes fixed on Su Yao.

Su Yao looked down at the subjugated ocean at his feet and slowly spoke, his voice carrying throughout the entire area through his inner strength:

"Jin Yan defied the will of Heaven and has been punished by Heaven. The land of Mahan now belongs to Han territory."

"I, on behalf of the Emperor of the Great Han and King Su Yao of Tang, hereby change the name of Mahan to Zhonghan County of Haidong Prefecture, and bestow the name Hancheng upon its capital, Weili City. All the former Mahan tribes are now subjects of the Great Han, enjoying the protection of Han law, and must also abide by the constraints of Han law."

The Empress stepped forward, nestled beside Su Yao, and announced the official administrative plan for the area in a clear and majestic voice.

A suppressed cheer and a chorus of thanks erupted from the audience.

Su Yao continued, "The lands of the Three Hans were originally one. Now that Mahan has been pacified, are the Byeonhan and Jinhan tribes willing to submit?"

"Yes! We are willing!"

"Bianhan is willing to submit to the Great Han and His Majesty the Divine King for eternity!"

"The Six Ministries of Chenhan are willing to submit! We beseech His Majesty the Divine King for protection!"
