It was as if there were gods and Buddhas all over the sky chanting in unison in the Buddha's light, and the area within a thousand miles was like a Buddhist paradise.

Then three Buddha shadows appeared in the air, and below the Buddha shadows were three monks.

In the center, sitting upright is Zen Master Zunsheng, on the left is Zen Master Baimei, and on the right is Zen Master Tianmeng.

In Buddhism, in every universe and every time period, only one Buddha will be born.

When a Buddha is alive and preaching, it is called the Age of the True Dharma. After his Nirvana, his disciples organize his teachings and continue to study and practice. Five hundred years later, it is the Age of the Image Dharma. Many Buddhist scriptures written in the name of the Buddha begin to appear. A large number of people have the right to interpret the scriptures, and numerous branch sects begin to appear.

Then, after a while, we entered the Dharma Ending Age. Not many people believed in Buddhism anymore. The environment for learning Buddhism became worse and worse. People were mocked and despised for learning Buddhism.

Finally, the Dharma Extinction Era arrived, and no one talked about Buddha anymore. No one saw or heard the Buddha's name, and no theory about Buddha's enlightenment appeared anymore.

After this cycle is over, the next Buddha will be born and the Dharma Era will begin again.

Every time a Buddha is born, there will be many helpers to help spread the teachings.

Sakyamuni Buddha is the leader of the Saha world, the Dharma King. His two most important assistants are Manjushri Bodhisattva, who is the first in wisdom, and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, who is the first in practice.

Now, Sakyamuni Buddha has passed away for many years. This world is at the end of the Dharma-Image World and is about to enter the Dharma-Ending Age.

There is a Pure Land in the East, whose leader is Medicine Buddha, and his two assistants are Sunlight Bodhisattva and Moonlight Bodhisattva. There is also the Pure Land Dharma passed down from generation to generation. In other words, if practitioners want to go there, they can also choose to ascend to the Pure Land, and the main study is the "Medicine Buddha Sutra".

There is a Pure Land in the West, whose leader is Amitabha Buddha, and his two assistants are Guanyin Bodhisattva and Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva. It is the most widely spread Pure Land method with the deepest connection with all sentient beings in the heavens and worlds. Amitabha Buddha is also known as the Buddha of Reception, who is universally inclusive and accepts all three types of people, whether clever or dull. He accepts both those who can fully understand Buddhism and those who cannot, and both good and bad students. The threshold is much lower than the one in the East. If you are not qualified, you cannot go to the one in the East. Even if you go there, you will be persuaded to leave and repatriated by the Sun and Moon Light Bodhisattva, or transferred to another school and sent to the Western Pure Land.

Medicine King Buddha and Amitabha Buddha are still alive and have not yet entered Nirvana, so it is the Age of True Dharma where they are. After ascending to there, one can directly see the great Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and learn Buddhism from them directly.

Usually, there is a Buddha in the center and two Bodhisattvas on both sides, called side attendants, standing like this.

Now the three great monks appeared, standing in the same position.

Zen Master Zunsheng was sitting cross-legged in the center, with Baimei and Tianmeng standing on both sides. The Buddha's light of the three of them merged into one, illuminating a thousand miles away. Its power was no weaker than that of the Seven Treasures Golden Pagoda, but it was blended with a bit more compassion.

At that time, old man Sibi was so furious that he shrunk his whole body into a ball of green light. It merged with the thunder beads and flew out together like an arrow. The ten thunder beads each occupied the three souls and seven spirits of old man Sibi. When they gathered together, they affected each other and aroused the evil spirits in the heavens, which was about to explode.

Just when the demonic thunder had just erupted but had not yet fully erupted, at this critical moment, the three monks suddenly attacked at the same time!

Zen Master Tianmeng and Zen Master Baimei combined their magical powers to cut off all the inductive connections between the ten lightning beads in an instant. Each lightning bead exploded into boundless thunder, fire and blood flames. Before they could fly around, they were already wrapped up by the Buddha's light. Ten golden light wheels appeared out of thin air in the Buddha's light, imprisoned the thunder, fire and blood flames inside, and then emitted golden Buddha fire wildly, burning them all up.

With the supreme magic power they had cultivated over a thousand years, the two of them suppressed the super nuclear weapon that had begun to explode, and then destroyed it.

At the same time, Zen Master Zunsheng forcibly stripped the evil spirit from old man Sibi's body.

The twelve demons of Old Man Sibi were originally passed down to him by his master. His master was influenced and controlled by his master's master. He did not ascend to the demon world, but chose to stay in the human world, transformed into demons, and attached to Old Man Sibi for more than a thousand years.

This evil spirit was usually very kind to old man Sibi, and only occasionally affected his emotions and mind at critical moments.

Old Man Sibi was fully aware of this matter. After all, he was his master. Although his master had influenced his character, he had never done anything to harm him. He also controlled the Twelve Yang Demons to help Old Man Sibi overcome countless natural and human calamities.

It was not until the old man Sibi wanted to abandon the devil and return to Buddhism that the two sides had a disagreement.

Old man Sibi built a magic prison and locked the twelve yang demons in it. The yin demons often lost their temper with him, secretly made him angry, and instigated him to get angry.

Now that the Yin Demon had been stripped away by Zen Master Zunsheng and eliminated in the Buddha Light Sect, Old Man Sibi felt his body lighten and his consciousness became clearer, but he also felt the loss of his magic power, the weakening of his supernatural powers, and an inexplicable sadness...

Since the lightning bead did not explode completely, he had already gathered his soul again and sat back on the blood lotus calyx.

Zen Master Zunsheng said, "The evil spirit that has possessed you for many years has been removed. We have used the Dharma to help you resolve your evil karma. If you don't convert yet, when will you?" The old man Sibi was filled with grief and anger. He threw away his whisk and shouted angrily, "Who wants to convert to you?"

When he first started to banish the Yang Demon and began to look for Buddhist scriptures for his enlightenment and practice, he actually thought about finding a Buddhist monk to convert to Buddhism and become his disciple.

The first person he thought of was Zen Master Zunsheng, but the old monk was bothering him by chanting sutras all the time, so he used the Asura method to imprison him on the cliff. When he went to look for him again, the old monk had disappeared.

He also thought that the only people in the world who could be his master were Tian Meng, Bai Mei and a few others, but he only had the thought but did not really look for one.

Now that the three monks have arrived, he no longer wants to convert!

He just wanted to ask: Why!
"Why can't the two slaves of the Xie family bear any consequences for killing my disciple? I want to seek revenge on him, what's wrong with that? I can't beat you, so I have to die! You Buddhists are powerful and have great magical powers, I am willing to admit defeat, but my entire family was massacred by you, and all of you monks have great magical powers, killing people is like killing ants, I am willing to admit defeat, and let you beat me to death!"

Zunsheng, Tianmeng and Baimei looked at each other and saw the helplessness in each other's eyes. Master Zunsheng sighed deeply.

As the saying goes, supernatural powers cannot defeat karma. It is easy to conquer the demons outside the body, but it is difficult to conquer the demons within the heart!

In fact, the trap they set up today was specially prepared for old man Sibi.

The three of them have been delayed for many years for the sake of their respective disciples and followers. Monk Baimei was going to leave more than sixty years ago, but his disciples asked him to stay in the world for the Dharma, so he stayed for twenty years. Twenty years later, it was another twenty years... Zen Master Tianmeng was delayed for thousands of years in order to thank the mountain... Of Zen Master Zunsheng, only Master Sibi is left.

Buddhism’s mission to save people is based on fate. It cannot be forced or anyone can be coerced into converting to Buddhism.

At that time, Zen Master Zunsheng had not yet reached the highest level of Buddhism, so when he met Master Sibi, he was a little forceful.

As the leader of the Asura sect, Sibi was full of vigor and vitality. He had not yet experienced the sufferings of the world, so how could he be willing to practice Buddhism? He spoke a lot of Buddhist teachings, which touched Sibi's arrogance, so he imprisoned him on a cliff with a very harsh natural environment and tortured him.

He chanted Buddha's name every day, and his voice could penetrate mountains and rocks. No magic could block it, and it could reach the ears of old man Sibi even thousands of miles away.

This instead triggered Sibi's further disgust with Buddhism.

Later, as Master Zunsheng's Buddhist practice became more and more advanced, he quietly left, saying only that he would come back to save old man Sibi when he was at the end of his rope and lead him to Buddhism.

However, the Emei Sect, which had originally put old Shibi in a desperate situation, is as powerful as before, and many things that should have happened did not happen. Instead, old Shibi's power increased greatly, and his magic power improved by leaps and bounds decades ago, making him even more powerful and no longer in a desperate situation.

He could have continued to wait, however, the Dharma Ending Age was about to arrive, and after that there would be the Dharma Extinction Age.

He is a person of the Dharma-Image Age, with great supernatural powers and boundless magical powers, but in the Dharma-Extinction Age, his magical powers will completely disappear, and he can only save people by relying on the wisdom of Buddhism.

He must hurry to the West to learn from Amitabha Buddha, and when he has learned well, he will come back in the era of extinction... and cultivate to become a bodhisattva of the next life, and then go to the Pure Land of Maitreya, and when the next Maitreya Buddha is born, he will follow Maitreya Buddha and come back to the human world...

He looked at the old man Sibi's current fate and it would be difficult for him to convert to Buddhism before the era of Dharma Extinction came. The fate would never mature and he could not wait any longer, so he had to give it a try.

Originally, their plan had a chance of succeeding. Li Hong, the two daughters of the Xie family and others would first use the Seven Treasures Golden Pagoda to surround and beat up old man Shibi, forcing him into a desperate situation, and then they would take action.

Unfortunately, there was the variable of Shi Sheng, who forced Zhu Youmu to defend Chen Yan to the death and not take any action. He also suppressed the Seven Treasures Golden Pagoda by his own strength.

The final result was: old man Sibi was not convinced!

Originally, the three of them shouldn't have taken action.

Old Man Sibi was defeated by six juniors, but there was still a possibility of a peaceful solution in the end. He was such a proud and arrogant master of magic, but he couldn't beat a few juniors. His arrogance was defeated, and he also witnessed the profoundness of Buddhism. Master Zunsheng and others came forward to eliminate all the side effects of his magic practice, helping him to resolve future disasters and completely put down his butcher knife. In just two or three years, he will be able to ascend to paradise...

This would be a perfect ending.

But now that he was defeated by the three old guys, it only increased the anger and resentment in his heart!

Old man Sibi thought that they were cunning and were plotting to harm him. It was not a one-on-one fight, but a group fight. Losing to the six juniors like Li Hong and losing to three old monks, the mentality is completely different! (End of this chapter)
