The ancestor of all monsters in Shushan

Chapter 666: Princess Shishen's Secret Battle with Zhu Youmu

Shi Zhu and Shi Feiyang cooperated to lift up all three sections of sea eels with six pure bamboos, and used the Nine Heavens Strong Wind to blow them to dehydrate them and turn them into "dried earthworms", which were sealed in the spiritual bamboo.

After killing the largest monster, the rest were easy to deal with. There was no need for Shi Feiyang to take action again. The sword masters worked together to either kill them or expel them.

Soon the wind stopped and the clouds dispersed in the East China Sea, revealing the blue sky and white clouds again.

This invasion of monsters is just a test by Chi You. There should be more powerful monsters behind him.

But for now, Shi Feiyang will only stay in the capital and will not go anywhere until the little emperor refines the Black Dragon Sword.

The days that followed were peaceful. No more monsters appeared in the East China Sea. The sorcerers in southern Xinjiang were killed one by one by the sword masters led by Jiang Shu. Their altars were cut down and temples were destroyed, and their nests were wiped out. The monsters in the mountains either chose to submit to Huo Wuhai and be sent to the sacred mountain outside the sky, or were burned to ashes by the true fire of the sun.

However, something unexpected happened in the North Sea...

Zhu Youmu was too powerful, and with the addition of Jiang Xuejun, he became even more powerful and unstoppable.

The many demon kings, great wizards, giant warriors, etc. that Chi You had cultivated over the years were all vulnerable in front of these two people and were crushed to pieces like dry dry weeds and rotten wood.

He couldn't just sit there and watch all his hard work over the years being destroyed by the two, but he also wasn't willing to fight for his life with the two top masters, Buddha and Taoism. Even if he won, he would suffer a lot of damage. While he was hesitating, a guest came to his door.

It’s Princess Ishigami!

The last time Princess Shishen came to Beijing to see Shi Feiyang, she brought Han E and the Yi brothers with her. She wanted to use the three of them in exchange for Shi Feiyang's leniency towards them on the issue of Deng Yin.

In the end, all three of them were sent out. Deng Yin's problem was not solved at all. Although he had been mentally prepared before coming, he became more and more angry after leaving.

Initially, she planned to find Li Ning, get Princess Red Flower, and combine the two volumes of "Blood Nerve" on good and evil.

But after a careful calculation, Shi Feiyang had prepared for her move and sent Zhu Changyuan over, and Li Ning was able to follow the teachings of the White-browed Monk and really hid himself.

If she went to look for Li Ning, she wouldn't be able to find him in a short period of time, and would end up in a state of disgrace, which would not be worth it.

So she ran to the North Sea again to find Chiyou.

She came to negotiate with Chi You, asking Chi You to help her get Deng Yin out, and she helped Chi You deal with Zhu Youmu and Jiang Xuejun.

In the past, in order to escape the pursuit and hostility of Xuanmen and Buddhism, Shi Feiyang continuously released old demons to increase the strength of the opponent. This time, she also began to increase the strength of Shi Feiyang.

Chi You and he each got what they wanted, and the two hit it off immediately.

Chi You knew that Zhu Youmu and Jiang Xuejun were very powerful, and thought that Princess Shishen would go with him to fight the two of them, so he asked her to choose one as her opponent first and leave the other one for him.

Princess Shi Shen smiled and said, "One of them is an orthodox Mahayana Buddhist, and the other is a direct descendant of the Xuanmen Sect. Both of them have supreme magic to subdue demons. If I go to fight them, wouldn't I be asking for trouble? I won't do such a thing."

Chi You was a little dissatisfied: "What do you mean? You said you would join forces with me, are you just going to watch from behind with a pair of eyes?"

Princess Shishen smiled and said, "That won't happen, but these two have great magical powers, and fighting them head-on is not the style of our magic. They all have flaws in their minds, and they can be subdued by taking advantage of them. The Buddhists say that one can become a Buddha by pointing directly to the human heart. We in the magic path also have a secret method to point directly to the human heart. Unless he has become a celestial being or a bodhisattva, there will always be loopholes to follow."

She told her plan to Chi You, who thought it was worth a try. Soon, all the people from the tribes of the thirty-six countries in the North Sea gave up resistance and chose to convert to the right path.

A large number of Rong and Qiang tribes laid down their weapons and came with their elderly and children to pay homage to the immortals and Bodhisattvas.

They called Zhu Youmu the Living Buddha and Jiang Xuejun the Holy Mother.

Zhu Youmu and Jiang Xuejun severely reprimanded them and told them not to shout like that. Then they praised their attitude of turning over a new leaf and told them to live a good life in the future...

Zhu Youmu was worried that these people would return to their evil ways, so he dug an ice cave in the glacier and temporarily meditated and practiced in it, preparing to observe for a period of time.

The Thirty-Six Kingdoms began to build palaces. The tribes that relied on fishing and hunting were already very poor, but they still gave their all to build the Big Buddha Temple and the Notre Dame Palace.

They dived into the sea to find colorful pearls to decorate the palace and temple, went to the Black Sea to find thousand-year-old corals to build the throne, and the tribes in the south who were able to graze donated all the milk and honey of the tribe to paint the walls...

Ju Rong was tall, strong, and built the palace very quickly. It took only three months to build two "crystal palaces" made of North Sea crystals. They were crystal clear and colorful. The sun shone obliquely here, and the sunshine time was very short every day. But in the two or three hours at noon, when the sun shone on the crystal palace, it would glow brilliantly, and there would be large and small rainbows above. The believers bowed their heads and worshiped, and really regarded Zhu Youmu and Jiang Xuejun as gods and Buddhas.

Zhu Youmu was the first to discover it, and he flew out and loudly rebuked these people: "Who asked you to build a temple for us?"

At this time, he still had some humility in his heart, knowing that he was far from reaching the level of becoming a Buddha, not even worthy of being a Bodhisattva, so how could he be qualified to be sculpted into a statue and worshipped in a temple.

Moreover, the lesson of Xie Shan is not far away. If one is not careful, one will be doomed to disaster.

The great witches of the Rong tribe knelt on the ground and kowtowed to him, holding the Buddhist scriptures in their hands, and pleaded loudly: "We are devoted to Buddhism... It turns out that we all believed in a cult, and our lives were dark, and we were in a sea of suffering for generations... Until we met you, the great Bodhisattva! You are the living Buddha! You are the Buddha in our hearts! You are closer to us than the Buddha! We deserve your teachings, this is the fate we cultivated in our past lives! Buddha! Please, don't abandon us, don't leave us, please, take us on this path to liberation from reincarnation..."

These barbarians cannot read a single word, so naturally they have no idea what Buddhism is.

But Princess Ishigami knew that not only did she know, she was even very proficient in Buddhist things and could recite all kinds of scriptures by heart.

She knew from what angle to attack in order to destroy the merits of a Buddhist practitioner.

When dealing with a person like Zhu Youmu, you must praise him to death and let him become "arrogant and arrogant", because he is arrogant to begin with. Once he is praised, he will become even more arrogant. Arrogance is a big obstacle. Once this obstacle arises, he will be separated from the correct Dharma of Buddhism. When he is separated from the correct Dharma, he will have evil views in his heart. Once there are too many evil views, he will have a demonic heart and demonic thoughts, and he will enter a demonic realm...

Sure enough, at the beginning, Zhu Youmu was very resistant, but those great witches knew what they were doing and they kowtowed and asked for advice.

"The Buddha is no longer in this world. Many great monks are only in China and have never come to our cold and bitter regions to preach the Dharma! It is always dark here because there is no Dharma! Our people always live in darkness... You are the light! Please light up our heart lamps, illuminate this dark world, and dispel ignorance..."

Those who truly practice Buddhism are willing to give charity.

According to Buddhism, giving money will gain wealth, and giving Dharma will gain wisdom.

Material charity means giving away money and things. If you donate one dollar today, it is like putting it in the bank, where the interest will compound. One day in the future, it will be returned double when you need it.

Dharma-giving means explaining Buddhism to others. The more you explain, the greater your wisdom will be, and the easier it will be to become enlightened.

When a great monk goes out to beg for alms, he has to preach a few words of Buddhism to the people after he receives the food they donate, exchanging the Dharma for financial donations, so that both parties benefit.

If you want to become a Buddha, you have to preach the Dharma to people... otherwise you won’t have enough wisdom and resources.

If these people asked Zhu Youmu to bless them with promotion, wealth, dozens of beautiful wives, cattle and sheep everywhere, and trees full of dried meat, Zhu Youmu would definitely not agree.

But they asked Zhu Youmu for Dharma and requested Zhu Youmu to teach them Buddhism. This is exactly what every Buddhist wants!

Zhu Youmu stayed and preached Buddhism to them.

These people knelt down and listened to the lecture, fascinated and mesmerized. Sometimes they cheered loudly, sometimes their eyes filled with tears, and some even regretted loudly, saying why they had not heard this truth in the past, and that they had lived most of their lives in vain. No, even their past lives had been lived in vain!
In the past, I was blind, obstructed by ignorance and could not see anything. Now, after listening to the Dharma, the ignorance and obstacles before my eyes have been swept away, and I can see the whole world clearly!
Zhu Youmu benefited greatly after hearing this. With so many people listening to him preach the Dharma, he was truly a Bodhisattva.

In the previous few days, he was sitting on the snowy mountain and preaching to everyone. Later, when Princess Shishen thought that the time was right, she asked the great witches to persuade him to enter the palace temple.

"This is a place for preaching the Dharma. Although you don't care, you have to care about the reputation of Buddhism. Only by keeping it solemn and dignified can we attract more believers and make more people sincerely yearn for Buddhism and the Dharma. Look, doesn't Amitabha Buddha also use the Pure Land to attract people? Many Buddha lands are paved with gold and decorated with seven treasures. Our place should also be solemn and pure."

So Zhu Youmu really went to the Big Buddha Temple to preach Buddhism. He would take the seat and preach every five days. When he preached, a cloud of sandalwood light would be emitted. Within a radius of a thousand miles, the whole area was filled with Buddha's light and bursts of sandalwood. It was truly majestic, with light and warmth everywhere, which made people yearn for it when they saw it.

On the other hand, Jiang Xuejun was also attacked by the great witches of Zhurong.

However, Jiang Xuejun is a disciple of Taoism, which is completely different from Zhu Youmu.

Buddhism has the motivation to spread the Dharma. Every Buddhist disciple is willing to take the initiative to preach the Dharma to others. The more people listen, the happier they are.

Taoism is not like that. Many of the mysterious secrets are only passed on to one person or in secret, and are not passed on to anyone else!
One has to show great perseverance, and even be tested for many years, and still may not be able to successfully become a disciple in the end.

If they use the same method to ask Jiang Xuejun for advice, it will be useless. (End of this chapter)
