The ancestor of all monsters in Shushan

Chapter 684 Tianmeng Ascension

Chi You used the Hunyuan Divine Ice, and its power continued to expand, forming a wave of freezing air with his location as the center, which continued to spread around.

This was because he took care of his men, and mainly used this thing to attack the projection of the Haotian Mirror in the sky. He tried to restrain the spreading cold air as much as possible, otherwise his warriors and monsters would have difficulty surviving, and only a few of the evil monks would be able to survive.

However, the cold air continued to invade the south. In a blink of an eye, the Great Wall inside and outside was covered with heavy snow. Looking from the sky, the area north of the Yellow River turned white at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Many immortals hurriedly cast spells to fight against the cold air, for example, the people from Kunlun Sect who were setting up Thunder City to trap Jiang Xuejun in it, and Fairy Lengyun Yu Wa who was defending Zhangjiakou and fighting three monsters alone, but they could only resist part of the cold air, and the cold wind and cold tide passed them and continued to blow southward.

Ancestor Xiankong specializes in cold-related Taoism and possesses spells and magic weapons that can absorb cold air.

Lei Qilong was from the Huashan Sect and had practiced many fire-related magic weapons. At this moment, he had no time to fight with the monsters and hurried back to cast spells to keep warm.

But his magic weapon was too weak. Actually, it was not weak, but it was too small compared with Chi You's means that swept the world. The fan that could fan out fire and the gourd that could spray fire could only produce flames that were no more than a hundred feet long and no more than a thousand in number. They were already very powerful when used in a fight with others, but they were immediately turned into smoke and fire when hit by the surging cold wave.

The one who is most adept at playing with fire is Shaoyang God. He has the best relationship with Huo Wuhai, and they have always been in and out together in the past.

This time, except for the Huangshan Sect, all of Feiyang's disciples were defending the Tianwai Divine Mountain. If they were not there, the rotten garlics like Xuanyuan Fawang might steal his home.

Dharma King Xuanyuan has recently obtained the Cundi Bowl and the Xuanyin True Water, as well as the physical body of the demon corpse Gu Chen. He has not yet completed his cultivation. If he were to rob the house at this time, Jinxu Nu and the others would be able to resist him together.

After Huo Wuhai and Shaoyang God subdued the monsters in southern border, they separated. Huo Wuhai brought many surrendered monsters back to Xiaonanji, while Shaoyang God helped Qingcheng Sect to wipe out the poisonous insects involved. His fire-based Taoism was very effective against these flying insects, and his insect-killing efficiency was only matched by Shi Longgu, who was an expert in acupuncture.

Feeling the biting cold wave coming from the north, Shaoyang Divine Lord hurried to the north. Looking at the freezing cold air that stretched for thousands of miles, he was also in despair. Even if he released the Qiantian Binghuo Spirit Snake that was bred in the Earth Fire Vein, it would be difficult...

Before he reached the Yellow River, the sky and the earth suddenly lit up. Looking around, he saw three hundred and sixty brilliant "suns" rising above the horizon!
At this time, Shi Feiyang had already used the purple-green Tushita fire on his head to melt the ice on the Haotian Treasure Mirror, and used it to activate the Yellow Emperor's Zhoutian Golden Talisman on the ecliptic again.

The golden talismans emitted light at the same time, forming 360 "suns" that rose from all directions at the same time. Each "sun" spewed out thousands of rays of light and heat. There was not only a sun in the south, but also in the north, rising directly in the direction of the North Pole. The light and heat that were spewed out were not particularly strong, but each one was like a rising sun, dispersing the freezing air and cold wave created by Chi You like dispersing morning dew.

These suns continued to rise into the sky, from the four poles and eight wastelands to the zenith, reaching the highest point of the "celestial sphere", and finally gathered into one extremely large sun, illuminating the entire Shushan world as bright as day. Even the Changye Island in the North Pole, which was in eternal night for ten thousand years, was illuminated. All the people, gods, monsters and ghosts in the world looked up at the huge sun in fear or excitement.

When Shi Feiyang stretched out his finger, the Haotian Treasure Mirror adjusted its direction to face the sun. He opened his mouth and spurted out a stream of fairy air. There was a wave on the Haotian Treasure Mirror and a golden beam of light shot out from it.

The mirror light shines on the sun, and the two will form a combined force. Shi Feiyang will create a solar fire rain covering a thousand miles to burn Chi You.

Chi You also saw this and roared again. The Chaos Mysterious Ice shot out another stream of gray-black mist, which rose straight into the sky and hit the sun first.

It was like a cannonball exploding on the sun, with a large amount of flames, golden light, and icy air exploding in the air and spreading to the earth, with the farthest part being thrown to the west of Kunlun...

Shi Feiyang hurriedly made a gesture with his left hand to point to the Haotian Treasure Mirror, and with his right hand he calmed his mind and plucked the Dongling Zheng with his spiritual power. The sound of the Zheng was amplified with the help of the Haotian Mirror. The sound of nature instantly spread over tens of thousands of miles, dispersing all the falling light, flames and freezing air in the sky to avoid causing secondary disasters below.

Shi Feiyang fought with Chi You for several rounds and was surprised at the opponent's strength, which was beyond his expectations.

Shi Feiyang calculated that Chi You had become a broken-back dog since Mount Jiuhua. Even if he could find a physical body to revive, it would be difficult for him to achieve anything. However, he could get some monsters and win by numbers. He had so many sword immortals to help him, plus millions of monster soldiers recruited from the sacred mountain outside the sky. It was enough to destroy the opponent without much effort.

Chi You deduced that he had refined such powerful magic spells and magic weapons that even if all the monsters under his command were killed, it would be easy for him to destroy all humans in the Central Plains. No matter how powerful Shi Feiyang was, he could not stop him. No matter how many Chinese sword immortals there were, they were nothing more than chickens and dogs and could not withstand a single blow. At most, he could escape.

Both of them hid the number of days they had lived for, tried hard to calculate the other's number of days, and even lied layer by layer. In the end, when they revealed their cards to each other, they were both shocked.

Not only the two of them, but all the practitioners in the world failed to anticipate this, whether they were the practitioners from both sides who had already joined the battle, or those standing in the distance watching the show, even Zen Master Tianmeng and Master Fentuo were secretly amazed that the strength of Shi Feiyang and Chi You exceeded their prior estimates.

Zen Master Tianmeng believed that Shi Feiyang could easily kill Chi You, so he stayed in the mountains, unmoved. He also wanted to leave and ascend to the Paradise. The time he had spent in the human world for Xie Shan was longer than that of Zen Master Baimei because of Zhu Youmu. Now, although Xie Shan was practicing asceticism in the human world as he said, he still couldn't help feeling troubled.

In fact, it’s not Xie Shan’s fault. It’s just that Shi Feiyang created the Xie Wang faction, and compiled all kinds of temples, scriptures, and stories... Who wouldn’t be angry after reading them?
According to what Zen Master Tianmeng said, Xie Shan used the right Dharma to destroy the wrong Dharma, and converted people one by one... In fact, converting people is not the goal, but only a means. The main thing is to make them calm down, cultivate an equal mind, a pure mind, and eliminate inner troubles. If he can do this, he can achieve success by converting just one person. If he cannot do this, it will be useless even if he can lead hundreds of millions of people onto the right track of Buddhism.

Xie Shan also understood this truth, but when he saw the statues of his entire family in the temple, especially the White Sheep Mother and the Black Bull Tai Sui, he couldn't help but get angry! Seeing so many people kneeling there and begging for the parents of Lord Xie to bless them, Xie Shan couldn't suppress his anger and wanted to raise his hand to blow up the entire Sheep Mother Temple and the Bull Father Temple!

Zen Master Tianmeng knew that Xie Shan understood all principles. He had been practicing for more than a thousand years, and except for the last life when he cultivated the Tao, all the other times were Buddhist teachings. He had already reached the level of "no obstruction of principle", that is, no matter what the matter is, he can explain it harmoniously with Buddhist teachings.

However, he is still unable to achieve complete "no hindrance" in "matters", that is, he knows the principle but cannot put it into practice.

He could handle most of the other things, but he couldn't handle Xie Wang's matter!
This was an invisible poisonous thorn that pierced his soul fiercely. Over the years, his magic power had continued to improve bravely, but he had not been able to make a breakthrough in his realm.

He cannot ascend to heaven just by relying on this thorn!

The Western Paradise, the Pure Land of Amitabha, this method is known as the most convenient method, which is applicable to all three types of people and can benefit both the wise and the dull.

Even the most dullard, even someone who cannot read, as long as he can chant Amitabha, even if he pronounces it wrong, such as radish and cabbage, as long as his mind is thinking of Amitabha, and can finally chant to the point of being absorbed in it and having an undivided attention, and each of his ten chants before death is of the Buddha, he can still be given a place in the three classes and nine grades of rebirth and go to the West to see the Buddha when the flowers bloom.

But Xie Shan couldn’t do it. He could recite ten times, a hundred times, or a thousand times, with pure thoughts following one another and every thought being of Buddha. But he just couldn’t go to the Pure Land.

In this respect, he is not even as good as an illiterate old rural lady.

He refused to accept it! But the more he refused to accept it, the more he couldn't leave.

Zen Master Tianmeng was also helpless. He had been told everything that needed to be told, and he understood it. He had also done what he was supposed to do, but he just couldn't see through it and let it go, and he couldn't be at ease.

The big monk had no choice but to leave. Just then he saw the sunlight gathering on the zenith, coating the mountains, rivers and earth with a layer of gold.

"Namo Amitabha!" Zen Master Tianmeng put his hands together, and in the sunlight he saw Amitabha Buddha from the West coming to greet him with the Bodhisattvas in the Lotus Pond. He also got on the lotus platform and left.

At this time, Xie Shan was still in a township in Fujian. He saw the villagers all over the place kneeling on the ground, worshiping the sun and praying softly.

After a long period of publicity by the state, the name of the national master Yuanyang Zhenren has spread among the people, and many people are praying to Yuanyang Zhenren.

When Xie Shan heard this, he was filled with indignation: That evil dragon caused me so much misery, but he dared to be worshipped by the people just because he learned some heretical teachings...

Normally, when the villagers worshipped him and prayed to him, he was full of complaints. Even when he was practicing asceticism to the most difficult times, he would occasionally have the thought of "killing all these foolish men and women" to have peace and quiet. Of course, these were only very few thoughts, and they would be extinguished immediately after they arose, and he would repent to the Buddha.

He knew that it was wrong to think like this, it was just a habit. He was able to wake up in time and not be driven by evil thoughts. This was the result of his Buddhist practice.

At this time, he saw the people praying to Shi Feiyang. In addition to feeling that Shi Feiyang was unworthy, he also felt a little jealous: Why don’t these people come to worship me...

But he immediately woke up again and suppressed his evil thoughts with positive thoughts: These people not worshipping me just freed me from my bondage, and I can be pure and ascend to heaven in the future...

As soon as this thought came to his mind, he realized: No, no, I shouldn’t be greedy for purity. If I am greedy for purity, I won’t be pure. Those who chant and worship me are all my predestined friends. They are all people who have had a predestined relationship with me in past lives. Regardless of whether they are good or bad, I should treat them all as one. I hope that they can all have a righteous mind and attain Buddhahood. Namo Amitabha…

He understood all the principles, and when it came to Buddhism, he was one of the best in the world. It was just that his habit often gave rise to all kinds of evil thoughts that he couldn't control.

If he continues to practice asceticism and cultivate hardship according to the teachings of Zen Master Tianmeng, he will eventually be able to eliminate those bad habits bit by bit, and be completely free from obstacles in managing affairs and attain a pure mind.

But at this time, a fellow Buddhist came. (End of this chapter)
