Just like the reason why Sakyamuni Buddha appeared in this world back then was not because he wanted to appear, but because the sentient beings of this world had a destiny with him, so he came naturally.

Watching the old woman carefully scrubbing the pot and cutting the vegetables, all of which were grown in the fields, she used the most primitive cooking methods, but with great seriousness and piety.

Master Youtan felt that this connection should be successful. If successful, she would stay and pass on Buddhism in this world.

In fact, it is not bad. The more connections you make and the more Dharma you spread, the greater the merit you will gain.

There are so many Buddhas in the ten directions and three periods of time, and they are all the same in their cultivation realm. The only difference is the types and numbers of sentient beings with whom they have established a connection. Some Buddhas specialize in saving sentient beings in the animal realm, while others specialize in saving sentient beings in the hungry ghost realm.

Among them, Amitabha Buddha has infinite life and can emit infinite light because he travels through various worlds and makes connections with the largest number of sentient beings.

Those who can be illuminated by his Buddha's light are those who have a connection with him. There are countless sentient beings, so the Buddha's light is countless.

It’s okay to stay or go to paradise.

Just when the old lady had finished two bowls of boiled vegetables and was making the third bowl, her son came back with a hoe in his hand and sweat all over his forehead.

He came back running, and when he saw Master Youtan when he entered the room, his face looked unfriendly.

The old lady was very happy to see her son: "We have a master in our house. I just asked you about your marriage."

The man said with a straight face: "Oh, what did she say? When can I get a wife?"

The old lady said, "The master said that you have a violent temper. You will marry a wife in three years, but she has a childhood sweetheart. You found out that they were having an affair and beat them both to death. There are two corpses and three lives. The master said that a family that accumulates good will have good fortune, and a family that accumulates evil will have disaster. Let me practice charity and create more blessings for our family."

"Did she really say that?" The man snatched the kitchen knife from his mother and went back to the courtyard to find Master Youtan. "What nonsense are you talking about to my mother, you bastard? Master Youtan sat there, covering the man with a beam of Buddha light, and said with a smile: "I have my own Buddhist body-protection method, he can't hurt me."

The old lady saw her son trapped in the Buddha's light, like a worm cast in amber, with one leg lifted up and unable to move, eyes wide open, unable to even move, she felt distressed and embarrassed for her son: "Hurry up and ask Master Youtan to release his son."

Master Udumbara said: "Your son has a violent temper. Unless he practices Buddhism, he will suffer a calamity in the future."

The old lady asked how to avoid the disaster.

Master Youtan then explained to him the law of cause and effect, saying that those two people had harmed your son in the previous life, so your son should have killed them in this life. Then they would come back to kill your son in the next life, and this would go on and on.

If you want to solve this problem, you have to let your son see through it. Your son had an affair with that woman in his previous life and cheated on his childhood sweetheart. Only by letting the three of them practice Buddhism, abstaining from killing, stealing, adultery, greed, anger, and ignorance, can the knot be untied.

After hearing this, the old lady also became angry: "They harmed my son in his previous life, so my son should kill them in this life! You old nun are so unfair! Why should I let my son see the truth and let it go? You should ask them to see the truth and let it go first, and not have an affair, otherwise they deserve to be chopped to death by my son!" After she said that, she scolded Master Youtan, asking her to let her son go and get out quickly. As she said that, she took out a rake from the side room and was about to dig at Master Youtan's head.

Master Youtan sighed, retracted the Buddha's light, and without waiting for the mother and son to attack him, he turned into a beam of Buddha's light and flew away.

When he arrived in heaven, he happened to meet Princess Ishigami.

Princess Ishigami smiled and said, "The master should have passed away long ago. We shouldn't try to get close to him too much."

Master Youtan scolded, "Today you have ruined their chance to hear the true Dharma of Buddhism. Then they will be calamity, kill each other, and fall into hell at the same time. You will also be implicated!"

Princess Shishen Wan'er smiled and said, "If they can't hear your so-called Buddhist teachings, it proves that they have no affinity with you. If they really have affinity with you, how can I stop them? If they go to hell, it means they have affinity with hell, not me who beat them there. Master, please don't make irresponsible comments on cause and effect."

Master Youtan also laughed after hearing this: "You witch! I have been practicing Buddhism for more than a thousand years, and this is the first time I have been accused of making false claims about cause and effect. Forget it, forget it!"

She no longer had anything to do with Princess Shishen, and rode on the Buddha's light back to the Longxiang Temple on Yitian Cliff.

The four Buddhist leaders gathered together again and sighed in unison: "The fate of this world is coming to an end. There is not much left. It is indeed time for us to leave!"

After Master Fenduo and Master Udumbara had each instructed their disciples about their affairs after their death, they passed away with a smile together with Master Kongtuo and Master Wuming. They were led by the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to the Western Paradise.

Those seated in front of the audience included Yang Jin, Hua Wuxie, Qi Xiaer, Su Yin, Master Canxia, ​​and Ye Bin.

All four of them left relics after their death, which they left to their disciples.
